Food was very good. Service left something to be desired. Empty salad plates not picked up for 15 to 20 minutes. Had to finally get hostess attention and she picked them up. Additional minor glitches with the waitress but perhaps it was just a bad night. Dined at the Bellevue Daniel's a few days earlier for a birthday and the service there was great. Daniels, should have comped a dessert or something for the lack of service.

The shrimp, steak strips, and artichoke appetizers were tasty and seasoned well. My two boys and husband had the Delmonico and Rib Eye, and they were delicious and perfectly cooked. But their mashed potatoes were woody and dry, and their steamed brocooli was just, well, steamed with nothing on them. My crab-stuffed shrimp barely had crab, was dry and woefully under-seasoned. The shrimp lacked flavor and were overcooked and chewy. The potatoes had absolutely no seasoning, and the asparagus simply had melted butter, I believe. The cookie/ice cream dessert was yummy, but the creme brulee was flat and uninteresting. To spend $460 on bland food was disappointing. Thankfully the service and the view were good.

Great food and a tremendous summer night on the Lake Washington waterfront. Romantic and absolutely a beautiful meal with great service and an atmosphere that was magic. Have been here many many times and each time seems better than the last (if that is possible). Keep up the stellar work and I will continue to return for the food, service and ambience.

My wife and I had been looking forward to trying Daniel's so were disappointed when both of us were served heavily marbled, fatty and somewhat bland prime ribs. They did comp the dessert, so perhaps we need to go back and give them a second chance. But given their prices, I doubt I'd risk it. Too bad, because the setting right on the Lake Washington waterfront was exquisite

Pure heaven with the sun, water, all the boats from Seafair/Blue Angels. Emily gave us a perfect spot outside. Sipped the best cocktail. A vodka citrus something that was perfectly pink and so good. I felt like we were on a mini vacation. The lobster salad was perfect for the hot day. The other 2 guests loved their meal, a filet mignon for my husband and the chicken for our guest. The friendly service here is absolutely lovely. Thank you!

We have been to Daniel's more than a few times. Sorry to say, but the prime rib dinner was terrible. It was very dissappointing as it was our anniversary. We sent it back, but the replacement was just as bad. We were compensated by waiving the bill, but would have much rather had a good meal!

We celebrated our third wedding anniversary here last weekend and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was high end and the valet was perfect. We have a window seat with a gorgeous view of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier in the distance. Absolutely a great time. The staff even surprised us after our meal with a freshly baked brownie, ice cream, with a candle on top for our anniversary. Such a special touch!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting amazing cuts of meat, perfectly prepared, and a higher end atmosphere.

We decided to celebrate our first wedding anniversary with brunch at Daniel's Leschi location. The staff was amazing, the hostess and our server both knew it was our anniversary and made it extra special with a great window seat and a bonus dessert. Everyone was so nice and helpful. And of course the food was amazing, my husband said his filet mignon was one of the best steaks he has ever had. We will definitely be back!

Server was brand new to Daniels and didn't know too much about the wine list. But she made up for her inexperience by being very friendly and attentive. We had dinner on a night with a full moon over the lake, with the sun setting on Mt Rainier. Doesn't get much better than that. Calamari appetizer was really tasty, salmon really good but not overly flavorful, and the steaks were perfect. This is our favorite Daniels location, though not the most convenient to drive, it's always worth it.

After hearing rave reviews of this location of Daniels Broiler, I was greatly disappointed. My wife had the ribeye and the rest of us (3) had halibut. The steak was way oversalted, while the halibut was rather tasteless. All in all, I have had much better at restaurants with less notoriety, and at significantly lower prices.

Remember price is only relevant (perceived) in the absence of value. How can it be so hard to cook a steak, when that is all you do? Medium rare is not medium well. If you like to cook, you can go to Costco, get a prime cut ribeye, and grill it yourself, and get better "value". If you want to be waited on with an excellent view and have great service, then Daniel's is the place to go.

Daniels has always been a gem the food is always better than most restaurants in Seattle in a great location with a beautiful waterfront view looking towards Bellevue and the Cascade Mountains. The Salmon was referred to by two in our group as "The Best Salmon They Ever Had". I had the 8oz. Fillet and it was prepared to perfection. I cannot forget to mention the Artichoke Heart Appetizer and how everyone loved it. The Creme Brulee was as good as it gets..........If you haven't dined at Daniels Lately you are missing out!!

Great view, attentive service, and good food with the exception of my rib eye. First it came out inconsistently cooked, part of it medium well and part of it medium rare (which is how I ordered it). In addition, the quality of the cut was marginal with it being extremely fatty. I told the wait staff this, and when they brought out a second steak it was still inconsistently prepared and equally as poor a cut of beef. I was able to eat about half of it, the rest being fat I had to cut away. I understand marbling, but at $49 I expect a much higher percentage of my meal to be edible. The fact that I called their attention to this and still received an inferior cut is enough that I can't recommend the restaurant and won't return.

We celebrated my husband's birthday. He ordered the Delmonico - his favorite! And it has not disappointed him. I ordered the Prime Rib special and, boy, was I glad I did! When the waitress came to put my plate down I almost told her "Oh no, that's his." But there was no mistake my Prime Rib was a 12 oz delight!!! It was cooked as I ordered, well done. Perfection! My husband was treated with his own birthday dessert. He finished his chocolate pudding cake with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh berries! And he usually is not akin to chocolate! This was our 17 year old's firt time to Daniel's. He was a bit overwhelmed and ordered the salmon special which he enjoyed very much. He liked my Prime Rib must better though. Best outdoor dinner view!

This is the best Sunday brunch I have found. You order from your table, it's not a buffet. But the food is hot and wonderful. You don't have to wait in line for food that has been sitting for a time. They have great espresso, wine, cocktails and a fabulous view. Watch the rowers practice in their long canoes, you cannot beat the ambiance. If you go on Sat. there is a little street market that is fun. Kid friendly- if they are well behaved. I say this for my own benefit because I don't want unruly kids spoiling my perfect brunch! Less than half the price of Salty's brunch, and so much better!

I've eaten at Daniel's a number of times and typically the service and food are outstanding. This time however, the food was very poor. Very slow food delivery-- and when it did arrive, steaks ordered medium and medium well were arrived as rate and very well done. Both were returned to the kitchen, so 2 of our party of 4 had food and started eating. It took another 20 min before our rejected steaks returned. The medium came back fine, but the medium well came back well done. Our server apologized for the problem-- they have some new kitchen staff and things were not working well. Clearly. I'll go back to Daniel's, again, but make sure they are having no staff issues in the kitchen before I order a steak.
