  • "On a beautiful day this is the place to be. Great view, great service and wonderful food. I see they also serve brunch."

  • "We decided to celebrate our first wedding anniversary with brunch at Daniel's Leschi location. The staff was amazing, the hostess and our server both knew it was our anniversary and made it extra special with a great window seat and a bonus dessert. Everyone was so nice and helpful. And of course the food was amazing, my husband said his filet mignon was one of the best steaks he has ever had. We will definitely be back!"

  • "This is a great place to eat or grab a drink for a very scenic view of Lake Washington. The service is very good/professional, not scripted. The food is tasty, but not outstanding."

  • "We were very impressed with the food, wait staff, view, and over-all experience. This was a great place to celebrate a birthday."

  • "We have been at Daniel Leschi multiple times, and food and services have always been good. It's expensive, but for special occasion, it is definitely worth the money."

  • "I had dinner on Friday night with a great friend who was visiting Seattle from Santa Barbara, CA. The service was outstanding, the food incredible, and the overall evening a treat. I highly recommend it to everyone.!"

  • "We had been to your restaurant on only one other occasion. At that time the service and food were excellent. This time, however, the service and food were over the top. All we can say is that our experience at your fine restaurant was stupendous! Thank you."

  • "Server was brand new to Daniels and didn't know too much about the wine list. But she made up for her inexperience by being very friendly and attentive. We had dinner on a night with a full moon over the lake, with the sun setting on Mt Rainier. Doesn't get much better than that. Calamari appetizer was really tasty, salmon really good but not overly flavorful, and the steaks were perfect. This is our favorite Daniels location, though not the most convenient to drive, it's always worth it."

  • "After hearing rave reviews of this location of Daniels Broiler, I was greatly disappointed. My wife had the ribeye and the rest of us (3) had halibut. The steak was way oversalted, while the halibut was rather tasteless. All in all, I have had much better at restaurants with less notoriety, and at significantly lower prices."

  • "What a great view and a dinner to compliment the view. My wife and I had a great time celebrating my birthday at this wonderful venue. This is how summer in Seattle should be appreciated. Well done!"

  • "From the hostess, to the bartender, to the waitstaff, service was amazing! We sat out on the deck- the view was fabulous, and they provided the perfect amount of shade. The whole experience was wonderful."

  • "Superb steaks and as always the service is the best."
    Dined on 6/29/2014
  • "Remember price is only relevant (perceived) in the absence of value. How can it be so hard to cook a steak, when that is all you do? Medium rare is not medium well. If you like to cook, you can go to Costco, get a prime cut ribeye, and grill it yourself, and get better "value". If you want to be waited on with an excellent view and have great service, then Daniel's is the place to go."
    Dined on 6/28/2014
  • "The entire experience was beyond superb. The food is always in point and the staff are always so accommodating to our groups needs. We were well attended and our steaks were cooked to each picky eaters desired temperature. I recommend this to all friends! They have a great hh if you want a tasting also."

  • "Daniels has always been a gem the food is always better than most restaurants in Seattle in a great location with a beautiful waterfront view looking towards Bellevue and the Cascade Mountains. The Salmon was referred to by two in our group as "The Best Salmon They Ever Had". I had the 8oz. Fillet and it was prepared to perfection. I cannot forget to mention the Artichoke Heart Appetizer and how everyone loved it. The Creme Brulee was as good as it gets..........If you haven't dined at Daniels Lately you are missing out!!"

  • "We come to this Daniel's in Leschi every month or so. We live over an hour east of the restaurant and would be closer to the Bellevue Daniel's. But we prefer the one in Leschi. The experience is always wonderful. This was for our 32nd wedding anniversary and we couldn't have been more delighted."

  • "Great view, attentive service, and good food with the exception of my rib eye. First it came out inconsistently cooked, part of it medium well and part of it medium rare (which is how I ordered it). In addition, the quality of the cut was marginal with it being extremely fatty. I told the wait staff this, and when they brought out a second steak it was still inconsistently prepared and equally as poor a cut of beef. I was able to eat about half of it, the rest being fat I had to cut away. I understand marbling, but at $49 I expect a much higher percentage of my meal to be edible. The fact that I called their attention to this and still received an inferior cut is enough that I can't recommend the restaurant and won't return."

  • "Problems at Daniels. Great dining room and view but it's very expensive and the food and the service don't live up to the price. Meat generally well cooked but potatoes, spinach and other sides were unremarkable. Deserts were better. The service was competent but not gracious or outstanding."

  • "We celebrated my husband's birthday. He ordered the Delmonico - his favorite! And it has not disappointed him. I ordered the Prime Rib special and, boy, was I glad I did! When the waitress came to put my plate down I almost told her "Oh no, that's his." But there was no mistake my Prime Rib was a 12 oz delight!!! It was cooked as I ordered, well done. Perfection! My husband was treated with his own birthday dessert. He finished his chocolate pudding cake with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh berries! And he usually is not akin to chocolate! This was our 17 year old's firt time to Daniel's. He was a bit overwhelmed and ordered the salmon special which he enjoyed very much. He liked my Prime Rib must better though. Best outdoor dinner view!"

  • "We were late for our reservation because of traffic. We were greeted warmly and graciously. The food and service was exceptional. I would highly recommend Daniel's for any occasion."

  • "Often, public special occasions like Mother's Day and Father's Day don't make for the best day to visit your favorite restaurant. Not so at Daniel's Broiler Leschi. The food and service was stellar and the restaurant was packed. My father-in law had a great time."

  • " This is the best Sunday brunch I have found. You order from your table, it's not a buffet. But the food is hot and wonderful. You don't have to wait in line for food that has been sitting for a time. They have great espresso, wine, cocktails and a fabulous view. Watch the rowers practice in their long canoes, you cannot beat the ambiance. If you go on Sat. there is a little street market that is fun. Kid friendly- if they are well behaved. I say this for my own benefit because I don't want unruly kids spoiling my perfect brunch! Less than half the price of Salty's brunch, and so much better!"

  • "My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and have dined at Daniels in the past. As usual, the food was superb, the view lovely and the attention given to us was perfect. I don't know how they get that timing down, but we sure liked it."

  • "As you walk in there's a feeling of a 1960's ski resort. In other words please remodel. The outside of the building is in poor, poor shape & in need of repair too. The waiter didn't know how to decant a bottle of wine correctly The steak was awesome as was the lobster bisque. The view is exceptional. Please remember to bring your black AMEX and enjoy your dining experience"

  • "We really enjoyed our first visit to the Leschi location! Great food, our server was outstanding and we really enjoyed engaging him in conversation. Loved the Riesling wine, too. Great place for happy hour."

  • "I've eaten at Daniel's a number of times and typically the service and food are outstanding. This time however, the food was very poor. Very slow food delivery-- and when it did arrive, steaks ordered medium and medium well were arrived as rate and very well done. Both were returned to the kitchen, so 2 of our party of 4 had food and started eating. It took another 20 min before our rejected steaks returned. The medium came back fine, but the medium well came back well done. Our server apologized for the problem-- they have some new kitchen staff and things were not working well. Clearly. I'll go back to Daniel's, again, but make sure they are having no staff issues in the kitchen before I order a steak."

  • "Our party of four for Sunday brunch was quite impressed with the menu choices and reasonable prices. Not our first trip to Leschi and definitely not our last."

  • "Our waitress was great, the food was lacking in flavor (halibut on jasmin rice), the corner we were sitting in had the ac blasting and it was freezing cold. The view was lovely."

  • "Took my ol' dad here for brunch today and we had a lovely time. The service was excellent by all staff and our waiter, Art, was authentically friendly and helpful but not hovering. It was a nice place to go for a relaxed time and some satisfying food. I would certainly go back."

  • "Love Daniels in Bellevue so I figured we would try the Seattle location for my birthday. Well I was better off sticking with the location I love. Everything was going well until the main course arrived. They must prepared the same food different from Bellevue. I ordered a smaller size of the same meal and not only the meal was different (never asked what my side should be) forced me mashed potatoes and they didn't prepare my steak as I would like as it had to be taken back. By time I did received it we had to go as we had other plans to celebrate my birthday. Sorry I won't be coming back to your location and I might just call and give them a piece of my mind. "

  • "Daniel's Broiler in Leschi is our favorite restaurant. We live over an hour away, but still manage to go to this restaurant once every month or two even though there is a closer Daniel's to us in Bellevue. The food is always outstanding (the reason we go there). Usually we have outstanding service. This most recent visit was pretty crowded, so service was a little bit slower than usual, but still very good."

  • "Pricy but pretty good food. Great bread. Good service. Very loud bar scene. I had a fruity lobster salad that was delicious. Halibut was my husband's choice. His portion was large but he finished it and rated it "B". For $42 I thought it should have earned a "A". The fish was perfectly cooked but something about the preparation was not his favorite. He couldn't say what."

  • "The best part of the dinner (besides the company of my nephew) was the extremely professional and congenial service (just right: not too much, not too little), plus the buttery lamb chops, salads, and surprise dessert from the staff (birthday). The potato was not up to par--blackened on the bottom and very soggy. Maybe it's due to being wrapped in foil?. But, I wasn't sure if it was burned (tasted OK) or was old (from the day before--if so, shame on you). But I truly love this restaurant and highly recommend it. Oh, the woman behind me had about 3 quarts of perfume on, which interrupted the meal from time to time as the smell wafted over. But I don't know how a restaurant, or another diner, politely tells someone they stink."

  • "My adult children live on the East Coast and my cousin's child lives in the South, so we took us to Mother's Day brunch and it was fabulous!!! Not over crowded, relaxing, beautiful, and good food! Even a beautiful sunshiny day, the only thing that could have made it better was for the clouds to part and show Mt. Rainier off! Oh, and our children to join us!!!"

  • "My husband and I have been dining at Daniels on Leshai for more than 20 Years. On every occasion Enjoyed great food and martini's/wine with family, friends and business associates. Mothers Day brought our family (including our GrandDaughter - 11 months - 1st Daniels visit), Grandson, son (celebrated his birthday with a Daniels molten cake & ice cream) and daughter-law. Service was superb for a very busy family day with many small children treating moms and grandmothers to their special day. Evening dining is always special with the scenic view, ambience and wonderful menu featuring seafood and steaks. Ask for Bev-lovely server with the best service in town!!!!"
