  • "This place really stands out. Outstanding steak. outstanding service. Great view and ambiance. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed."

  • "This was our first visit to Daniel's Broiler after hearing many recommendations. We were seated promptly and had the all important window view which was lovely. I am vegetarian so was a little nervous about the choices in a restaurant famous for it's steaks but the menu was great and I had a variety. Bread in the basket was not great and artichoke appetizer a bit pedestrian. Pea and mint ravioli was delicious and asparagus were perfectly cooked. Unexpected surprise for me was dessert. I chose the special, strawberries soaked in liqueur then dipped in chocolate. Marvelous. Overall a great meal, but pricey."

  • "We were seated by the window with a view of Bellevue and downtown Seattle--it was awesome. The steaks were done perfectly and the service was five stars!"

  • "Daniels Broiler has good service, a lengthy wine list, knowledgeable staff, and delicious (although heavy) food. It is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion"

  • "The steaks were over cooked and the lobster was mushy and flavor less. One would think that a$575 dollar meal for 4 would be a great experience but it was not to be. The dinner was to be a celebration for 2 birthdays and a 49th wedding anniversary. The restaurant was horribly noisy and hot,the food was not even mediocre . We will never go back to this particular restaurant."

  • "My guests had exceptional food. My fish was a bit dry. Don't get fish in a steak joint. If I had steak, as I have done before, it would have been a 5. The only bad part is they put 4 big guys in this little dinky booth. If this happens to you, ask to be reseated. We were all uncomfortable."

  • "Wonderful steak dinner! Lobster mash potatoes are a wow! All terrific!"

  • "That Daniel's is expensive should come as no surprise, so for some this will fall into the category of special occasion. If you are discerning about the quality of the food, its preparation and its presentation, you will find this to be worthy of that special occasion. In our case, the quality of the service complimented the quality of the meal nicely."

  • "Steak and lobster mashed potatoes were very salty. Our table for 2 felt like it was in a hallway."
    Dined on 3/28/2014
  • "In my experience, the service has always been great. The food is usually pretty good, but the last time we were there all if our steaks were a bit burnt on the outside. The ambience is good, and the view is nice."

  • "We have eaten at Daniel's Broiler on a couple occasions while in Bellevue and gave never been disappointed with the service, the food or the view. Recommend it highly."

  • "My wife and I recently ate at Daniel's Broiler, Bellveue. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Our server was excellent, and the food delicious."

  • "celebrated a birthday with a fabulous dinner and great wines. Can't beat the fantastic service and the view was incredible on the clear night. Wonderful experience!"

  • "Inspite of having a reservation, we were seated in a back corner room completely away from the view to the west, the primary reason for booking this restaurant. The service was adequate, the food was adequate, but dollar-for-dollar mine will be spent on the many, many restaurants in Seattle where the view is just as good, the food is at least as good, and the service is much better - I have eaten here many times, at least every other time I have walked away very disappointed - this time with out of town guests - I won't be back."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "The food was well-made and the service was excellent. We had a beautiful view of downtown Seattle. They gave us a free dessert in honor of our anniversary."

  • "My wife and I were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. We showed up 5 minutes early to our reservation. When we checked in, the hostess told us that the reservation was running 20 to 30 minutes behind schedule and that we could sit in the bar if we wanted. I brought a special bottle of wine that I had been saving and asked her to have it opened and decanted. So we went back to the waiting area and stood. Over 35 minutes later, I asked how soon we would be seated and they said our table was still not ready but they could seat us in a special reserved area in the bar. We asked for a glass of our wine and they brought the unopened bottle that I asked them to decant. We ordered an appetizer that they failed to bring us. Bad evening."

  • "I made reservations for my husband's birthday and almost everything was perfect - our waiter was fun and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't get the "great view" that a restaurant on the 21st floor offers. We were seated at a table in the corner next to the "board room" with a lot of traffic going back and forth to the kitchens. Our view was of a wall, next to all the other tables that had views out the windows. Aside from that disappointment, it was a delicious dinner."

  • "May be a bit pricey for some people, but you're paying for some really great steak! So far the best tasting steak we've encountered here in Seattle."

  • "great views, mediocre food. we had a salad w/bacon & grilled salmon. we expected something more exciting. great space for business meetings."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "As usual the service was outstanding, but the steak was disappointing. The special bone-in rib eye was a bit tough instead of tender, had way too much gristle, and not as flavorful as one would expect, especially for $75. Fortunately my wife's pork chop was excellent (Surprisingly she was asked if she wanted it medium well. No! That would have dried and toughened it, duh.). Despite the mediocre steak, which can happen anywhere, Daniel's usually lives up to its reputation as a high end steakhouse and our overall experience was special."

  • "We celebrated my birthday at Daniel's and it was awesome! Our server was Matt and he was attentive, knowledgeable and made our evening perfect. We started with the raw oysters, then ordered entrees including the Delmonico, Filet mignon and Porterhouse. All were perfect! Matt brought me a birthday dessert which beautiful. My daughter and wife shared the sorbet. Time flew by and we never felt rushed. I'll be back for my next birthday and anytime I want a special place."

  • "We have been to Daniels several times and have always had a good time with good service."

  • "We definitely felt pushed to eat, and leave. At one point we had to ask if we could slow down the service so we didn't have plates stacking. When you are spending 500.00+ for a nice dinner, that's the last experience you want."
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "I chose to have the prime beef burger and it was juicy indeed, even without the cheese that I opted out of! I only wish they had some jalapenos to order as a filling or on the side; sadly they didn't seem to have any! And going there for lunch is a great idea, as a table is easy to secure and the views, fantastic on a bright sunny day!"

  • "We've eaten at Daniel's Broiler in Bellevue several times, always so impressed with the professionalism of staff and jaw-dropping good food. We always order the same menu items, because we enjoy them so much. This time, however, things dropped a notch. First, our appetizer and salad were smaller in proportion, but still the same price. The appetizer (seared ahi tuna) was overcooked and dry. Our attendant lacked the finesse that we normally see. She was very good, but just needed a little more polish. Otherwise, our steak was a cut above the rest as always, and the wine was fantastic. We will be back, but we hope it doesn't slide any further."

  • "Service was great and the Filet Mignon was ridiculously good."

  • "The food was just flat out amazing. The service was decent. The view was spectacular! Although, I had requested a table with a view since it was our first time their and we were celebrating but it ended up me having a view, and my date staring at a wall. I understand the busy aspect. The place was packed and we had to wait past our reservation time, but for first timers.. Maybe try to give them that AMAZING experience. Besides those few little things that aren't that important the place was great, the food was better, and the view.. for me.. was perfect."

  • "Great service! I would avoid the lobster mashed potato, unless you love salty food. Other than that the food was amazing! We are defiantly going back!"

  • "If you are looking for great views and great food every time then go to Daniels in Bellevue. The Lobster Salad is amazing, and they will split it for two of you. Then enjoy one of the steaks and a good glass of wine. The perfect way to spend the evening with the person you love!"

  • "The food and service were excellent. Our waiter had a great sense of humor and fine attention to detail. I requested a table by the window because it was my husband's 50th birthday. The sky was clear and we were able to see all the way to Seattle. It was beautiful! My only complaint is that the noise from the kitchen seemed to reverberate off the walls, making it very difficult for our party of 5 to hear each other. I think the area with booths is probably quieter."

  • "Was a great dinning experience have been there before and service and food excellent, a little noise but not bad for a busy place, had order roses for table and everything was in place when we arrived. I would recommend Daniels for any one that wants a excellent dining experience."

  • "We have been to Daniels several times before. The other times were great but this time not so much. We had reservations which we then had to wait 30 minutes to get a table that was in a corner next to a swinging door. Our waiter was very nice but did not notice that my husband didn't drink his drink because it wasn't good and when he took our plates away did not offer to box up my left over steak which was about half still left on the plate. We spent a good amount but didn't feel great about it. Sad to say we love Daniels but not a great night. I will take partial blame for this but I don't feel I should have to point out some of this to my waiter it is his job."

  • "Best customer service I have had our waiters name was Todd I believe and because of him we would come back again and again. Even though the prices were quite expensive but great service and food"

  • "Great location, even on a dark and stormy night where the visibility is minimal you can still get a decent view of the skyline. This is as old-school of a steakhouse as you can get. Service is pleasant, not overly personal, and borders on old-fashioned. A walk by the meat display case is followed by the ultra-searing hot broiler, and finally to your seat. Views are awesome and the interior is also furnished very comfortably. We had an amazing lobster salad, a pre-historic sized prawn cocktail, and two perfectly cooked USDA Prime slabs of meat. The baked potato is a force to be reckoned with and the seasonal Broccoli Rabe was a pleasant surprise in this meat wonderland. Special occasions and business deals are done here."

  • "my girlfriend and i have been experimenting with sous-vide and Daniel's filet mignon was almost as good as what we've been making in the kitchen with a cooler full of hot water and a hot skillet for finishing. it was a bit too salty, a bit over-charred, and not exactly medium (a bit on the rare side but that's better than well done). the appetizers and side dishes were excellent. (and beer is impossible to screw up so no points for the Mac n' Jack)."

  • "We had never been to this restaurant, but we recieved a gift certificate for our 47th anniversary. We were immediately in love with it! Making the reservation couldn't have been easier; just popped online and filled in the blanks. A confirmation was sent back right away. We arrived early to explore Bellevue a bit, as we live in Maple Valley, 25 miles away. Daniel's ambiance was dim and romantic. We were welcomed right away, and seated quickly. The menu had wonderful options, and our server answered all questions and pointed out a few things. The steaks were perfectly prepared and off the charts delicious, Best food we have eaten out in years!"

  • "Valentine's Day Diner was superb. I requested a window table and they gave it to us. It was the best seat in the house. It was a nice romantic corner and we felt as we were the only people there (of course, we weren't but we were treated like we were). Service was wonderful. I ordered the port house steak (30 oz). It was cooked to perfection and I took home most of it because it was too big for me. I have had two other meals from the leftovers. The cocnut ice cream was the best we have ever had. We were so glad we picked this restaurant to celebrate. We will be back."

  • "In the last 10 years we watched this restaurant slip. When you heard Daniels Broiler you were excited, but lately you think that there are better places to eat. Had to ask for bread, water never refilled Prime Rib was not their best. Never saw a manager."
