D'Amato's Restaurant & Goodnite Gracie Martini BarAfter a small blip recently,After a small blip recently, the chef is solid and the food is back to it's former luster. The Margarita pizza is amazing and the fish dishes shine. I loved the salmon and the halibut also looked divine. The eggplant entree is a great vegetarian choice and is tasty by any standards. The Caesar salad is also flavorful--garlicky and tart. The wine choices are interesting and affordable and the wait staff is knowledgable and friendly. We particularly love Allison, who always steers us in the right direction and is always attentive. This is one of our go-to spots that always makes us feel welcome and satisfied.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMI love going to both D'AmatosI love going to both D'Amatos and Good Night Gracies. I am so happy that they have gluten free items on the menu and the chicken marsala was delicious. I also love the great martinis and good vibe at Gracies.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMD'Amato's will be your favorite! One of the real benefits of living in Royal Oak is having D'Amato's right around the corner. The food is consistently wonderful and the service is great! Even though it is a popular destination, you never feel rushed and the staff makes you feel as if you are the only table in the restaurant.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great meal with someAnother great meal with some great wine to go with it. We loved the Margarhita pizza, which may be the best in town. Also, the salmon was perfectly prepared and delicious and the eggplant dish is hearty and flavorful. The Caesar salad is so good and Allison, our server, always makes us feel comfortable and special.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMA Happy MealThe food was good and the servers were attentive. The wine list is extensive providing a wide price range. If I had to be critical of any point it would be the menu. It offered a narrow selection of meals. However, overall we really enjoyed our visit and would return again.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe think the Margherita pizzaWe think the Margherita pizza is the best in town , with Wino Wednesday, what could be bad?? Loved the stuffed eggplant and pork tenderloin, too. It's definitely out "Go To" restaurant.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMOn our regular rotation nowWe really like the food here. It is nice to have dinner with some drinks and quality entrees for less than $100. Our favorites are the scallops and filet. Each is prepared uniquely with interesting sauces and sides.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great, have beenFood was great, have been to the brunches a few times and have always enjoyed them.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMD'Amato's has awesome waiters! Our waiter was awesome - he spent time talking to us about the restaurant, and we exchanged ideas of how to get more business thru advertising in local papers. We were offered "Endless Mimosas" which was really great. Food was excellent. The only reason we do not give it 5 stars is because the interior is very outdated, flooring needs repair/refinishing. With a little facelift, the place could be a great R.O. gem.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMBest place for atmosphereMy husband and I have been going to D'Amato's for years, we even had our rehersal dinner here. Any occasion is never a disappointment. They deliver excellent service, excellent food, and a wonderful ambiance. Will continue going here for years to come3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGive your review a title (optional)After a disappointing last meal at D'Amato's, they have made a comeback & we had a great meal. The Margarhita Pizza was delicious, Lasagna, although too salty was delicious and the salmon yummy. The service was superb, thanks to Allison. Wonderful wines, 1/2 off on Wednesdays-what's wrong with that? This has been a mainstay for several years, & we're delighted that it's back to it's former glory.2/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
