My favorite is the Prix Fixe where you can get my favorite of Appetizer of Sizzling Crab Cake w/ remoulade and grapefruit sections and avocado w/pesto drizzle, Half Roast Boneless Chicken w/Skin and potato, peas, carrot/onion, and baked stuffed tomato with spinach and feta. Then one of their fantastic desserts like Cafe Louis w Bedford Farms coffee ice cream, homemade coffee brandy sauce , chocolate bits and whipped cream. Drinks are well made, generous and chilled. atmosphere felt like one big family celebrating. The waitstaff had a lot of people to wait on but we didn't feel
either rushed or not cared for. Have had lunch at Dalya's many times and the food is always very good. We'll
have to start making Dalya's a special occasion destination for us, too. We started with appetizers and drinks before moving to a sit-down 3-course dinner. Frans had prepared the menu for us earlier, and we did not need to make a single change. Two wonderful staff took care of our every need, and the food was top-notch. The party girl was beaming at the end, and I heard some of the cousins making plans to come back for dinner again. The staff was very accomodating, considering I messed up the number of people attending. The food was so good and we didn't feel like we were making too much noise disturbing other diners.

Being completely new to the area, I did a web search looking for highly rated restaurants. Dalya's looked great on-line, and was nothing short of outstanding in person! The food and presentation are excellent, along with the wine list. The service is also outstanding and you will enjoy a quiet and romantic ambience if you're with that someone special (as I was this past weekend). What a gem -- close to major highways, easy parking, and once inside, voila, we are in Provence! The service is efficient and friendly and the menu diverse and reasonable, with offerings classically French to choices of fresh local seafood and vegetarian options as well. We chose the Prix Fixe three course dinner and were not disappointed. While there is no children's menu at Dalya's, a simple pasta dish was offered for our granddaughter. She was welcomed and served as warmly as the three adults she was dining with. We have dined at this restaurant many times over the years, even at it's first location in Lexington as Le Bellecoeur. The waiter was caddy. The waiter read the specials, but didn't come by to see how the food was nor ask if we needed anything,refill the bread and water or ask if we wanted other drinks after we got our appetizers and ordered. Great salad offerings, and good mix of entree choices. We have been going to Dalya's for yrs. The FOOD is amazing and SUPERB. I had a seafood risotto, with a large portion lobsterm my son a sirloin burger. Some of us ordered thru the price fixe $38, appetizer,entree, desserts, a la carte, entrees ~$25-37, desserts ~8.50.Nice ambience, smaller, more intimate upstairs. When we arrived, the restaurant was quite empty at 6.30pm. Greeted nicely and felt the service was good and not too imposing. We had drinks, I ordered a prix fixe option and my spouse ordered a burger and salad. All of the food was excellent. Especially the seafood risotto and oddly, his burger. It was huge and juicy and seriously perfectly cooked, which always seems hard to get in a made-to-order burger these days...at least for us! On a whim I made a reservation, as the restaurant is near where we live. We were very happy with the experience. The food was delicious, I had an 8 oz sirloin that was cooked to perfection, the au gratin potatoes were uniquely cooked and delicious. My husband had the seafood risotto and it was creamy and cooked to perfection, the chunks of lobster meat along with the shrimp and scallops added the perfect gourmet touch. We had the crab cake and corn and lobster chowder as an appetizer, and the melding of flavors was superb.

The ambiance is very romantic and also wonderful for a group of people (have done retirement parties here and never disappoints!). The food is excellent! I would give it a 5+! Our server, Kelley, was attentive, but not hovering. Her suggestions and attention was perfect and she was correct everytime. We have been here for lunch and it was the first time for supper. We are also looking to schedule another dinner after the Easter rush and will bring friends. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant!
