Diner Reviews
  • "We were in Vegas for a conference and tried this place because we found it on Groupon. Very happy we did! Service and food was great!"

  • "You can't beat DalToro for a client meeting while in Las Vegas. The food and service are great, the atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable and the location is perfect for any event in the Sands Convention Center, Venetian or Palazzo."

  • "We've had a dinner at Dal Toro for my friend's B'day and food was delicious! they even accommodated the changes we've had and even made couple of things that weren't on the menu. Desserts were super tasty as well. Our server was very professional, friendly and educated. We've had a first class sophisticated experience. Overall this restaurant was above and beyond what we expected. Don't forget to check out the luxury car collection!"

  • "Appetizers and drinks were great but entrees were not. Liked the outdoor patio as well. Biggest issue was that the server pushed an entree that was really not that good. Of the party of 5 at the table, 3 ordered this entree because we were told the ones who did not order this dish would be jealous. The entree was presented well but was not very good at all. I feel a little slighted because the server really never checked up on us again and definitely did not bring up the entree he pushed. We clearly did not eat much of it but were never asked if we liked/disliked it - this makes me think the server knew it wasn't the best and pushed it for other reasons."

  • "You can get a very good meal here without overpaying. The meals are not a la carte and the portions are quite generous to say the least. Would return for sure!!!"

  • "Not a good restaurant, and it's in the basement level or lower level, so out of the way! Much better eats all over Vegas! Would not go back or recommend. Food was overpriced for the quality or lack of!"

  • "The food was flavorful and the service attentive, however the bad taste left in our mouths was that Dal Toro charges for soda refills. That is ridiculous! When you are spending over $100 for dinner for two (without alcohol), there is no acceptable reason to charge another $3 for a refill on a soda. Even McDonald's gives free refills on their $1 any-size Coke products. It may be principle, but we would never return for that reason."

  • "Wonderful restaurant with great food! The server was fantastic and everything about the experience was great!"

  • "Overall nothing great. We had entree which we shared, then the Steak and myself Entrecote, when waiter found out we weren't having any wine, he really did pay any more attention to us. He actually had the maitre D bring us the desert menu. Price of food overpriced if u ask me, but Vegas overall is pricey."

  • "My experience with Dal Toro was horrible. I had read quiet a few bad reviews before reserving a table with them, but I just thought it could have been picky customers. I was wrong! My experience began when the hostess popped a fresh piece of gum in her mouth and began smacking it as my wife and I walked up. We obviously inconvenienced her by walking up and needing to be seated, and she let us know with her cold and rude demeanor. We ordered wine and had the bartender yell to all the staff about how horrible a selection we just made. Later, his girlfriend showed up and we got to watch the two of them scream and argue with each other about their relationship. Our waiter was snobby and our food was too salty to eat. Horrible!"

  • "The restaurant offered great service however, the food fell short. I do not mind paying for pricey food if it is worth it. Considering it to be at the Palazzo, I was disappointed."

  • "Good food, pricey for what you get. Waiter didn't offer the free water. Lovely atmosphere. Waiter was a little hard to understand"

  • "The food was really good and the service was good. We came here for a bachelorette dinner party. I would not recommend it for a bachelorette party, the music was very soft and the ambience was very quiet and romantic. But the food was excellent."

  • "I purchased a Groupon for Dal Toro. We have been to Vegas many times and did not know that this place was here! What a fabulous Dinner my husband and I had there. We will definitely return again."

  • "My husband an I were sat in a back corner by ourselves and a closet on the patio. We then waited 15 minutes to get a glass of water and another 15 before our waiter even showed up. At that point we left."

  • "Highly friendly and professional staff who truly care about the dining experience. Food quality has been consistantly good across many visits. We enjoy sitting outside next to to the strip and enjoying the Vegas environment."

  • "I took my wife to Vegas to celebrate her birthday. Our favorite restaurant is Dal Toro. The dinner was perfect. Our waiter was excellent. We could not have asked for a better evening. Can't wait to go back next time we visit Vegas!"

  • "The food is overly priced... The lasagna and pizza I had ordered was served cold... Which wasn't too appetizing at all. On the other hand the service was great""

  • "Our server was the high point of our experience. He even surprised us with a nice anniversary dessert. While the food was good on this visit it wasn't something to write ho.e about. Portions were good but flavor was not over the top."

  • "Waiter was EXCELLENT, and so was the food. Had a very enjoyable dining experience, and look forward to a return visit."

  • "The side options are very pricey. The waiter even though he was good was more concerned about his tip then service."

  • "Well, we had a group of 6 and a groupon for $180 worth of food that we paid $90 bucks for. We were all in town to catch the Eagles concert at the MGM. Dal Toro had our table ready when we got there. The food was good and the service was very good. The only thing that left a sour taste in my mouth was the fact that our waiter offered to bring us an appetizer tray for the group - he did a fabulous job of describing what would come on it. We bit....hook, line, and sinker. When we got the bill, we discovered that the tray cost $120 ($20 per person - almost the value of our entire Groupon) We didn't even think to ask how much it would cost....live and learn). But, overall, the experience was good, and the concert was incredible!"

  • "We arrived 10 minutes early. The hostess was confused about how to seat us. We finally got seatedand the couple next to us told us they had waited 30 minutes to give a drink order. Our waiter finally took our order, as i told him we had a show to see. We ordered our dinner and waited another 45 minutes before cancelling and leaving. We were late for the show. This place is a waste of time. Everyone there was extremely unorganized and confused. The waiters were yelling at each other."

  • "When you consider good Vegas restaurants, one usually prepares for a significant investment. This one turned out to be moderately priced considering the quality of food. Wine list is not very good, and priced too high comparably compared to the price of your meal. Top this off with exotic cars, This is a good restaurant."

  • "It was a great experience, the food was really excellent. It´s a great place for special occasions, I enjoy the view it has a great location."

  • "-Website wasn't clear that the NYE pre-set menu was the only option -The menu was pretty terrible (octopus chewy, cheapest lettuce possible in salad, over cooked and not-seasoned sword fish and bland canoli). -The lobster ravioli and duck ragu pasta were the only enjoyable edible dishes. My wife did love her chocolate cake desert. -Wine selection was pretty good For her and I spending over $200 + tip I expected a meal to talk about not one that made me feel nauseas."

  • "Had a wonderful meal (the shrimp and lobster ravioli is delicious) and attended to by a charming and knowledgeable bartender who was helping the very busy waiter. The car collection is a must see while you are waiting for your drink or appetizer."

  • "It's never easy to find a good place for lunch in Vegas that's quiet, but close enough to convention stuff. This was close enough to the Sands, but far enough to be quiet and set-up for a convo. Food, of course, was good. If it weren't lunch, the wine list would have gotten good use."

  • "Located in the Venetian on street level. The food selection was good. I enjoyed the choice of gourmet pizzas. There was a table of gentleman sitting next to us, and they were very loud! This is not the restaurants fault, per se. Also, we only saw our waiter twice, when he took out order and when he gave us the check. In between, we received service from other waiters. In our situation, we received good service , just not from our waiter."

  • "Let me get the negative part out of the way first: the décor and atmosphere are nothing to write home about. It's about a half-step above Applebee's in terms of ambience. But the good news: the food is really great. My wife had the lobster and shrimp ravioli and she loved it...and she's very hard to please. I had a homemade pappardelle with Italian sausage and porcini mushrooms, and it was very good also...plenty of sausage (loose, not links) and a nice cream sauce. The best part of the meal was the meatball appetizer which included an amazing bleu cheese and saffron dipping sauce. I'd go back just for that. The service was friendly and efficient, also. The place is not fancy, but you'll enjoy the food."

  • "Food was good, not memorable. Would've been nicer if there were less kids. Expected a little higher class of a place given the location and prices"

  • "Food was good, but the Risotto, which was an item on the specials, was on the salty side, not enough to make it inedible, but enough to make it less than what is expected of this restaurant. The two of us who ordered the Risotto were disappointed. The two people who ordered the veal and the person who ordered the Lasagna della Nonna loved their food. The other two guests neither raved nor complained about the food."

  • "Food and service were excellent. Mourad was a great waiter. Brought out of town friends and they enjoyed every part of the evening, including the car showroom tour. We met the owner of the showroom and learned how he buys, sells and consigns cars. Plan to use Celebrity Cars in Dal Toro next time I need a car."

  • "it is not a good place. the service was very slow & terrible. The prosciutto & arugula pizza was too bitter and had too much arugula. The crab & asparagus pizza had very little crab meat on it. The shrimp & lobster raviolis were cold & it was served on cold dish. It took a while for the wait staff to refill water & coffee. The wait staff even brought out doggy bag to the wrong table."
