My waiter (Carlos) was great, full of good advice on the menu, prompt with everything and very attentive. Foie gras to start with, beautifully sautéed on grilled ciabatta with a really delicious black cherry sauce, went really well with the foie gras. The bone-in filet was cooked exactly to order, seared outside, hot pink centre, a generous size too. I had the cauliflower gratin which was very tasty, a little too al dente for my English sensibilities, still very good. The key lime pie for dessert was nice and tart, the crust a little thin but extremely good overall. But quieted down by 8:30. The food is excellent - Steak Oscar and the Coconut Cream Pie!!!!! Highly recommended for a special occaision or romantic dinner. Want to impress on a first date - this is the place. Outside seating available - but on the evening we were there it was just a little too hot outside to be comfortable. Unlike other restaurants... the food and cocktails were delicious! The chef came by to ask us how the food was, the manager came by and gave us an anniversary card signed by the crew, AND gave us a complimentary desert! This was the nicest, most romantic restaurant we've ever been to. Moving back to Dallas after 22 years, I finally got a chance to return for my 43rd birthday. I was delighted to find nothing had changed and the evening lived up to my memory in every aspect. Everyone was telling me it was a nice place to have a romantic dinner, We had no problems finding the place as we read the reveiews and know to look for the elevator and the valet stand. There was not that many people there on a Friday night, so that worried me. But all in all we had great customer service with everyone we encountered. We had the fritto misto (you can pass) nothing was too special there.. but the main event was the filet mignon (bone in) and the soft shell crab special they had. They were absoultely amazing dishes! The side dishes we had was the maccoroni and cheese and corn and they were okay.. the whole restaurant made it a memorbale night, will be back again.5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Service at a restaurant EVERWe recently went here for my fiance's birthday and they went above and beyond to make her night very special. The food was amazing and one of the best steaks I've ever tasted. Drinks on the patio near the fountain afterwards made for a very impressive night.

The ambience was lovely. I especially enjoyed the piano player. Our watier, Khalil, was fantastic. We sat outside on their beautiful patio with a waterfall. We had the raw oyster appetizer which is served with 3 different sauces. My husband had a ribeye and I had lamb. Both were done to perfection. We had cauliflower mashers and broccoli for our sides which were excellent. They treated us to banana creme brûlée. Don't at the table for two behind the post. It was quiet, but very crowded for even two. We wished we had asked to be moved to a four top table. I am sure they would have moved us but our reservation was for two, so we did not ask.
The food was delicious and arranged beautifully on the plate. The amount was perfect, not too big and not too small. It was my wife's first time to eat there. We want to go back for a steak sometime.
