  • "I love Daily Grill. My husband and I are very picky and we have been going to the Daily Grill for 25 years."

  • "Had lunch here recently and really enjoyed my meal. They have a 600 calorie menu that has many good selections."

  • "We had a great meal and had the BEST service that we've had in a loooong time!! Nicole is a keeper!! She was fantastic. She anticipated our needs and took great care of us!! We will come back again and hopefully she can be our server again!!"

  • "The food is always good, service always attentive. This is our go-to place for anytime!"

  • "The food was fresh, the calamari was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed it!"

  • "We visit this Daily Grill at least once a month and usually have a very good meal. This time we were 1 out of 2. My friend had the salad/pot pie lunch combo and both were great. I had one of the worst Hamburgers ever. The meat was way overcooked and dry.....the lettuce was wilted....the tomato was mealy and tasteless. Horrible. If it weren't for time restraints, I would have sent it back."

  • "Noise Level was such that our party could not hear one another."

  • "Like all their food, the chicken pot pie is fabulous. I just love this restaurant - all of the Daily Grills are of such a reliably high standard. Menu is great, food & wine are great, good service - what's not to love?"

  • "We seem to go here for special occasions, birthdays, anniversies, etc. Even though there are fancier places. I guess the food is always as expected. My wife gets to scold me for eating too much of the bread, but she's been doing that for 52 years. We find that our friends seem to be picking it also, most likely for the same reasons, it just fits."

  • "This was the first time we had dinned at the Daily Grill in Studio City, as our party had only experienced the food from the Daily Grill next to Bob Hope. The restaurant at Studio City looked nice and the people were friendly, but that is all that this restaurant had to offer. Let's start with the drinks...two of us had the Arnold Palmer, which tasted like stale water with a hint of lemonade. The appetizers were lacking seasoning and the shrimp tasted like it was old with a weird smell. If you want to have a good dining experience, drive a little longer and dine at the Daily Grill near the Burbank Airport and not this place. This place should reconsider what the main objective of a restaurant is."

  • "The hostess was very pleasant. Food was tasty. The issue was the waitress who always seemed to be in an extreme hurry."

  • "First time I've been there for lunch and it was nice but noisy. Food is consistently good. Make a reservation because it is popular!"
    Dined on 2/20/2014
  • "The good -- the good is tasty. But what I really liked was the menu section for plates with 600 calories or less. It can be so difficult to go out to eat and not put on the pounds. The bad -- it's so dark it's hard to read the menu. A man at the next table used the flashlight app on his phone to read the menu. He tilted his phone so that blinding light was always in my eyes. I had to ask the waiter to talk with him about it, and then I got a real dirty look. The bad -- the restaurant is very loud, and it's hard to have a good conversation. if you can, ask for a seat on the patio (if the weather is nice)."

  • "Upon entering we were greeted warmly and immediately shown to our reserved table. Our waiter (Steve) was both attentive and prompt with drinks and food orders. The food presentation was lovely and all in all it was indeed a Valentine Treat."

  • "I always liked the Daily Grill -- they have a good menu and nice ambience. I'm glad that they started a Simply 600 menu -- calories fewer than 600. Good choices. I had the smaller hamburger (smaller bun) with tomatoes, onions and lettuce -- really delicious. It comes with fruit rather than french fries. Yum My cousin had a crabcake appetizer which she really liked and we both had the gazpacho which was really good. Not spicy. I would recommend this restaurant."

  • "Bad food, very slow, and mediocre service at an expensive restaurant. When we complained to the manager, it was handled very well."

  • "Well located in the Valley to meet friends. Easy parking."

  • "The Daily Grill was always one of our favorite "go to" spots for birthdays and other events, but the portions seem to have gotten smaller over the past year. The food is still delicious, it is just that there is less of it. Traditional American fare should have medium to large portions, portions here are now small (almost nouvelle cuisine small)."

  • "The food here has always been good. We've been going here for over 10 years. But our most recent visit on December 28, 2013 was very unpleasant. This was a result of the ear-splitting "music" that has now been added to an already noisy restaurant. Pounding, one note, unrelenting assault on the eardrums. No longer an enjoyable, relaxing meal, although the food is still good. If this continues, we will no longer patronize what has always been a favorite neighborhood restaurant. Who thought this was neccessary?"

  • "Always a wonderful experience, the daily grill is a family and anybody restaurant that is open warm and excellent food. The staff is gracious and always willing to help with suggestions. The food selection is excellent and the quality is the best."

  • "Made reservations through OpenTable, but upon my arrival, the hostess had no record of my reservation, and held me at the front desk, while she seated other guests. When I gave my name the second time, the hostess brought me to the wrong table. Fortunately, I took it upon myself to look around the restaurant and found my guests seated and understandably displeased because I was over five minutes late due to the front desk's disorganization."

  • "This is a lovely restaurant, but the portions are way too large. We were three women and one sandwich would have feed all three of us. I did notice that everyone leaving the restaurant was carrying a "take home bag". Perhaps that's why they go there. Next time I'll order a bowl of soup."

  • "The food is always good and consistent. They always accommodate your special requests. Also enjoy their lower calorie section of the menu, with many choices. We joined their rewards program so we get special coupons and discounts throughout the year."

  • "We had great time, and Kelly, or waitress was fantastic."

  • "Normally Daily Grill is great and always consistent. This last time we had a problem with seating. The place was practically empty at 5 on Saturday night, and they had some new management that wanted to put us at a small table. It seemed pretty silly to me and I asked if a slightly larger table was available and after a wait and some words that were exchanged, we finally got a larger table. When we left, it was still early and 1/2 empty. As for the food, I ordered their "special" hangar steak. It wasn't very good at all. Usually I send things back, but just didn't feel like going through all of that. The steak was really chewy, fatty, and no flavor. The apple-berry tart with ice cream was yummy."

  • "I'm always stunned at the prices at Daily Grill. The food is good and fresh and well prepared. It is one of the very few places where I can get a rare cooked hamburger. However, it is practically the only thing I'll go there for. It's just too high priced for what I consider everyday food If I'm spending those prices, I want something special. It's where I go when I can't think of anyplace else in the neighborhood that serves booze."

  • "My grandson and I had a wonderful meal. He was very impressed and thrilled with his food. I am a long time guest and really enjoyed my Tuscan chicken. A winner!!"

  • "We have a sweet new dog which we hate to leave at home. Daily Grill has a seating area out on the patio which is perfect for our needs. So we got to enjoy Steak Salad, Trout Almondiene and some lovely wine while our new dog slept under a chair."

  • "All the Daily Grille venues are consistent and very good! The service in Studio City, however, ranks higher than most."

  • "This is a tried and true gem for meat lovers. The place is roomy, all are nice and helpful, but it does take some time for food preparation. I suggest you not dine here if you are heading out to an evening event. Plan when you can sit and enjoy dinner and conversation."
