"Because Daily Grill is near Union Square and many theaters, we thought we'd try it. We continue to dine here because the food is consistently good and the wait staff always polite, friendly and helpful in recommendations and getting us on our way before the curtain goes up."

"Great place to eat quickly before a show. I had a cajun spiced Ahi tuna salad, which was a little too spicy for me, but I should have expected it, given that it was cajun! Servers were responsive and polite."

"Had a reservtion for 6:30. Arrived at 6:25. Waited about 10 minutes for our table. Our server, Lynette, was a gem. Food was great, dessert was wonderful. Arrived at the theatre a block away in plenty of time."

"Daily Grill has become our "go to" restaurant prior to the theater -- ACT, in particular. It has a great and varied menu (including a list of items under 600 calories), good prices, terrific service, convenient downtown location. And a discount for theater-goers...always a nice benefit that shows the restaurant's generosity to its customers."

"Its location near the theatres makes it very convenient for before show dinner. Good service, understanding of need to get to theatre on time. And food was good, too. I tried the low calorie ( below 600 cal) fish dinner and it was excellent."

"This is it for a pre-theater dinner. Reasonable and satisfying. The waiter's personality and rapport with each table was almost enough to make the experience memorable. But the food did the trick too. As health conscience eaters, we all chose an entree from the "600" menu which promises 600 calories or less. The Chicken Masala was the table favorite, but we also appreciated the fresh Ahi Salad and the Salmon Burger (although a healthier bun would have made it even better. The Perfect Pear cocktail had a wonderful sweet but heady taste. Our appetizer, Fried Calamari, was a little soggy so we would skip that next time."

"I introduced my companion to Daily Grill and she loved her choice of Tuscan brick chicken with crispy skin and moist white meat. she ate the entire generous portion even though she claimed she wasn't hungry. I enjoyed my perennial favorite - the crab cakes served with super sized fries. Our server did not rush us and perhaps forgot to ask whether we would like dessert. Since we had to catch a show at the Curran, we skipped it."

"A great place for a steak, or if not in the mood for a steak the menu is varied enough that you can find something enjoyable. Very enjoyable meal, we will go back to try additional menu items."
