Daily Grill - GeorgetownEXCELLENT food & service!Excellent, attentive service. I recently dined there for lunch on Memorial Day and had dinner with a group there on the following Sunday night. Our group included an infant, so I appreciate the staff giving us a high chair and a bowl of mac-and-cheese, so I would suggest this restaurant as kid-friendly. Great menu! Foodies would love this place. I love the hummus trio. The entrees are all wonderful, a large selection of dishes with huge portions. The manager, Jamey, and the staff are great. My niece's rehearsal dinner was Friday night and I was tasked with arranging a dinner for those not attending the rehearsal...I called it the Outlaw Dinner! Initially, I made a reservation for nine of us. Three weeks later I got a call that the number was actually 23. A week later, that went down to 9. The day of the dinner, that changed to 11. Well guess what? Five of us had a fantastic dinner at the Daily Grill! Jimmy was phenomenal in helping me through this roller coaster of changes...completely unflappable. Justin provided great service with humor.

Food was very good, from Trout almondine to short ribs. Wine list was very limited but we still a good bottle of Malbec at a reasonable price. Deserts that were shared amoung six of us, were simply superb, fresh strawberry shortcake, carrot cake and chocolate cake. The service was friendly but not very efficient, we had to ask for silverware as there were not complete place settings at our table. The waiter seem to disappear for lengthy periods of time. The lively bar offers great food and a nice view of the crowds strolling through Georgetown. Drinks were outstanding and dinner afterwards was delicious. The hostess was friendly and held our table without putting any pressure on us to keep our specific reservation time. We were waiting for one member of our group who was traveling in from out of town and we enjoyed the bar and great service while we waited.
