Food is satisfying with a wide range of choices, including many for food lovers and many for under 600 calories. It works well for a date, dining out with the wife, business meeting, gathering of friends, and more. All is consistent. Sadly, the parking is consistent too -- in a very negative way. They have valet parking (no longer free), and it usually takes 7-15 minutes to retrieve your car (unacceptable for a moderately expensive restaurant). Last time, they actually LOST the car keys; it took 35 minutes to find them. It was convenient. We had stopped because of the poor service that we had received and the loud music. The food was consistently good, but when you have to track down your waiter to take your order, to get served, and to get the bill, it was too frustrating to continue and we had changed to another nearby restaurant.
In the playbill from Round House there was an ad for 10% off at Daily Grill so we decided to give it one more try. I am writing because we saw a complete turn around in the service, noise level and friendliness of everyone. Kudos to Charles, our waiter, and to Gabriel, the new manager. The low cal dish was flavorful and not tasteless as in most restaurants. We loved the strawberry lemonade...had several rounds since martinis were out. This time though I asked for a rare hamburger and it came back medium well. We were short on time so I did not send it back but did tell the waitress. Bread may seem like a small matter to some, but for me it means that the restaurant is attentive to even the minor things. The bread was fresh and steaming hot when we broke it.
