It was a slow Monday night, so the place was not very busy and the service prompt. The menu is rather short, although the meals are served in small, medium or large plates. This restaurant is not a place to take someone out for dinner. It is a good place to go to have a drink and some food with it. The food was nothing out of the ordinary.

A quiet in-hotel restaurant on Bush St. (a climb from Union Square)
The best short ribs I've encountered in a SF restaurant. Both times we have been there, the short ribs were the most appealing item on the menu and it is their specialty.
The dining room is spacious with a double row of tables and both times we have been there the service was extraordinary.
