  • "Assuming local shops around the Silver Line will be torn down in the not too distant future, diners should make a pilgrimage to DaDomenico. The traditional Italian food was very good and old style. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The interior was well maintained, except for one small area of the ceiling in the main dining area. A small bar for before or after dinner drinks was an added plus. Well worth a visit."

  • "After driving past this place for years, my husband and I decided to give it a whirl. what an unexpected surprise! the service was light-hearted, informative, friendly -- just plain outstanding. the arugula salad was excellent; my husband said the lentl soup was the best he has ever had; the lamb chops were to die for and the seafood linguini was cooked to perfection. We are already looking forward to a return visit!"

  • "First I had to change the times for our reservation several times due to my girlfriend's schedule but OpenTable and the restaurant were quite flexible. We walk in and are immediately taken to this back secluded romantic alcove where you almost tower over the other diners and feel like a king. The food was put simply, incredible. I had the lobster ravioli which melted in your mouth, she had the veal chop (which is their specialty and I can see why!) We mentioned it was our anniversary and they surprised us with a tiramisu on the house which was quite good too. Bottom line I will be back for our next special occasion."

  • "We met another couple for dinner and sat in one of the booths in back. The ceiling was stained from past roof leaks and the seating was cramped for four. I thought the menu was quite "tired" and the offerings were similar to that found in Italian restaurants 40 years ago. My wife had their signature veal chop which I thought was overpriced at $42 and my entrée of veal piccata was only so-so. At least the restaurant was quiet so we could talk with our friends but there was nothing there in the food or ambience that would get me to return. We left about 9:00 on a Saturday night and the restaurant was literally deserted. The only plus was the service was good+."

  • "This was our first time dining at DaDomenico, and it was a wonderful evening from beginning to end. We were greeted promptly and received a very friendly welcome. Part of our party had already arrived and was seated in a lovely very private booth. Our server was excellent she took drink orders, she told us to take our time and let her know when we were ready to order. She realized we hadn't seen each other in quite awhile and we wanted to talk for a bit before ordering. While we were looking at the menu, we were brought very warm Italian bread with choice of oil or butter...delicious! Our meals were very good, everything was completely enjoyed. The food and atmosphere at DaDomenico was excellent."

  • "The night we were there, a group of 6 was making quite a bit of noise very close by. Another group also was irritated. The place was not very crowded (this was a Monday night), so the group should have been seated away from other diners. Their veal chop is always excellent, I had gnocchi and cucumber soup - both excellent also. Ambiance is fake European and fine. Staff usually excellent but our server kept walking away from her area. We had to wait for her to pour wine several times. This is unusual - service is usually great. Must be the "B Team" on Mondays."

  • "The restaurant was very quiet when a friend and I dined at 6:30pm, but it was rather early. We started with the burrata, so creamy and silky. Great blend of flavors. The veal parm was AMAZING, and my friend had the gnocchi, which he really enjoyed. The service was very attentive and detailed. This was my second time to the restaurant and I look forward to going back!"

  • "Made reservations and requested one of their booths. Luckily one of the booths was available and we were seated as soon as we arrived. To start, we ordered the Mozzarella in Carrozza (fried mozzarella) and the Insalata Di Cesare (Caesar salad), as always delicious. The Hubby ordered the famous Veal Chop and said it was amazing. I had the Petto Di Pollo Parmigiana (Chicken Parmegiana) also delicious but could not finish it as the portion was large. Overall service, ambience, and most importantly the food was great, we will definitely be returning."

  • "We went for a Mother's Day dinner. They had a set menu - unfortunately not much vegetarian choices... The waiter was not willing to help us but just before the meal arrived, he said the chef was willing to accommodate... Too late! One of the wait staff was very rude - just plonked the bread basket on our table and walked away. Luckily he did not end up serving us. Whatever we did eat, was delicious! We would probably go back, just to try the regular menu. "

Once the food arrived, it was delicious, but there were items that we had remind them we ordered. They were excellent at accommodating an infant.   • "We did a project team dinner on a Tuesday night and had a great time. We had different dietary restrictions in the group and all were able to find multiple choices for their meal. We ordered appetizers and salads and soup for the first course which were all wonderful. One of our group had the famous veal chop and said it was wonderful. I had ravioli and could not finish - it was a healthy portion. We also ordered desserts and had panna cotta and creme brulee. Both were great. We also ordered a few bottles of wine and the prices were reasonable and selection was very Italian. We are definitely planning another visit. "

  • "I had not been to Da Domenico in about 8 years and that was a mistake. I should have come back sooner. Note that we came for lunch so the crowd is more businesslike than for dinner. We arrived at 12:15 and there was plenty of seating space but for a Monday that was not bad at all. We both ordered the Salmon special which was priced a little on the high side given that it was lunch but kind of expected for this particular Italian restaurant. It was cooked very well and I would order it again. Definitely returning."

  • "We found out about this restaurant on Open Table. We saw that it had great reviews and it was close to our daughters school ( GMU), we were taking her and her best friend to dinner for their Birthday. From the moment we walked in the door the service began. We were greeted with warmth and a genuine feeling of welcome. The wait staff were very pleasant and every suggestion was spot on. The food was amazing, not heavy and the portions were just right. We brought our own dessert of cupcakes, which they had no problem with and then they brought tiramisu for the Birthday girls. We will go back again and again. Great last minute find. Don't be put off by the fact they are located in a strip mall."

The service was a little slow, though the result of being understaffed and not any lack of intention by the waiter. The wines by the glass were a little too pedestrian for the very good food."

After receiving our appetizers which where dishes that had the opportunity to be great. We sent them both back . spoiled food. ask for our check and explained the situation and left. No one tried to stop us we left a half bottle of wine."

The server made up for the time it took for the meal to be served with attentiveness, and Italian meals should be gradually enjoyed, anyhow.   • "We had not been Da Daminico is several years. I was so happy to see it is still as delicious as always. Eating there is like stepping back in time when going out was an event, where you were welcomed and waited on and not rushed! The shrimp in the scampi were delicious. I topped it off with a fabulous panna cotta! The restaurant was not very busy on this past Friday night. I hope people rediscover this landmark. It is too good to lose!"

  • "We went to Da Domenico for my Mom's birthday. We enjoyed the fried mozzarella appetizer and calamari. The marinara sauce was fresh and flavorful. My chicken dish with prosciutto and fontina cheese was so delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals except for my brother who ordered the lasagna. He said the pasta layers were not tasty and he didn't like the meat sauce. My mother loved the ravioli filled with sausage and spinach. It wasn't heavy at all. My husband especially loved his salmon with peppercorn cream sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. The menu is sure to please everyone and the service and price are unbeatable. We will come back again."
