Not sure if they're for sale as I overheard some people at tables nearby saying they met the artists. If they were for sale, would have been nice to see the artist' name and prices on each piece. We had difficulty speaking with one another.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMVery goodI have dined at Da Soli three times with my husband. Each time the service has been friendly and attentive. The specials are always imaginative and not too pricey as compared to the regular menu. We have had several appetizers, all very good, especially the pan fried artichoke with crispy prosciutto. All of the entrees with homemade pasta are excellent and cooked very al dente, as they should be cooked. My husband had the soft shell crab special, which was two large sautéed soft shells on a crab cake with a light sauce. It was amazing!
We generally don't order dessert, but we split a piece of tiramisu and it was a perfect ending.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of my favoritesThis restaurant never disappoints. The food is delicious. The grilled calamari is delicious and the short rib is the best I have ever eaten anywhere. My party had the pasta with soft shell crab and chicken and eggplant and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The specials are always tasty too. The attentive servers and the main courses always deliver a great evening. One of our servers announced proudly that it was his first day on the job. He had waited tables in PHL but he had been anxiously waiting to be part of the Da Soli experience and hoped we enjoyed the evening as much as he did! But here is my personal opinion: The food was delicious. The staff was very attentive (sometimes too much so - several people came over to ask if everything was Ok, one right after the other;-) and our waitress was very nice. There was a lot of time between our courses but I much prefer this over being rushed through a meal. We were not rushed at all and we enjoyed taking our time. The only real negative was that it was incredibly loud. We were only 4 at the table and often had to lean in to hear each other.
