A word from Da Pasquale Trattoria Italiana
Da' Pasquale is perhaps the only local trattoria that, since its inception in 1989, has consistently prepared all of its dishes in the rich southern Italian tradition of Naples without pandering to American taste buds or trends.

Italian favorites, like Pasta e Fagioli, certainly need no introduction to the experienced diner, but, if it"s your first time eating at Da Pasquale, you may just feel like you have been reacquainted.

This family-run restaurant takes pride in creating an atmosphere as close to home as you will find outside of your own dining room and is one of the last truly family-friendly restaurants located in Beverly Hills.

Diner Reviews
  • "We have come to look forward to every opportunity we get to enjoy this outstanding restaurant. Reservations are a must - it's very very good - and justifyably very busy!"

  • "We both ordered the vongole but the pasta was so salty we sent it back. We then ordered the osso buco and it was also salty but not so much that we couldn't eat it. Tell the waiter before you order to hold back on the extra salt. Other than that it is a great place to eat."

  • "This place is authentic Italian: wait staff, maitre'd, homemade pasta and diners. The menu has a variety of choices and we chose the simplest ones: pizza and spaghetti. My "white" pizza (no tomatoes) had shaved parmesan, prosciutto and spinach trickled with olive oil and it was delicious. My husband's spaghetti bolognese was made with homemade pasta and the sauce was delicious. I splurged and had two desserts: tiramisu and panne cotta. Both were excellent but that was the best tiramisu I have ever eaten. I can't wait to return."

  • "WE've been meaning to go there for years as its just down the street. Menu and food was great. Great wine list. Service great. But way too noisy."

  • "Great food - every dish was fantastic. And the prices are incredible - especially for a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Make reservations, you will need them. The lamb chop special was delicious."

  • "Da Pasquale is always excellent. The food is very fresh and consistent. The vibe is very neighborhood friendly with a strong authentic Italian feel. The Penne Arrabiata is a dream. We are not meat or shellfish eaters but we found plenty of fish and vegetarian options. We went on a busy Saturday night and it was lovely. Our wait staff was wonderful at first and then lost touch with us a bit toward the end. Ultimately it was a completely satisfying experience and we will be back again soon."

  • "Very reasonable prices. Obviously very popular, had to wait quite a while for our booked table. Food is good, however, my pasta was far too al dente to eat. This was a surprise as there are so many pasta dishes. Will try again though."

  • "I did the dineLA event and it was o.k., a sautéed calamari appetizer and a light fish for dinner. it was fine but I still swear by the Pasta with Oil and garlic. it's the best I've ever had anywhere....and this is a neighborhood gem."
    Dined on 7/24/2014
  • "We've enjoyed this restaurant previously. Unfortunately, it was crowded due to dineLA, vacations, and probably an increasingly improved economy, so the noise level was deafening"

  • "It's good Italian food (I'm a tough critic, being Italian and knowing good from very good). Good staff; nice room; good table spacing, so you can actually talk. Nicely priced. Nothing pretentious. Friendly. Good. Busy. It's obvious why people like it."

  • "I lived in Italy for a month in 2011 and this is the closest I've had since returing... everything is fresh, homemade, run by an Italian family and very reasonably priced especially for Beverly Hills. Tables are closely packed together which can be good or bad.."

  • "Food was too salty and seafood smelled very bad, server was not very attentive, and we had to ask for water and bread multiple times, I would not recommend it to anyone, and would not go again"
    Dined on 7/17/2014
  • "I came here on the DineL.A offer excited about trying a new restaurant with great reviews. The calamari starter was nice enough but nothing special, the crab gnocchi main was better - rich, creamy spicy sauce, decent amount of crab - delicious. However, the food was presented on massive plates which in turn made the portions look tiny which both me and my friend found really odd and a bit off putting. The reviews had promised a really friendly, warm environment - the owner seemed annoyed that I had booked and put out to show me my table - the waitress was nice but not overly attentive. Overall, on the DineL.a deal this was fine but I wouldn't rush back, I'd try other Italians first."

  • "I dined during Dine LA and the food on the menu sounded great, but it was only fair in taste. The calamari had a fishy taste and smell, but the eggplant appetizer was good. The main course was the filet sole and it was too salty, but the carrot and asparagus were good. My friend had the pasta dish with ground beef and peas, but her noodles were stuck together. Finally, the best part of the night was the desserts! The panna cotta with berry topping was perfect and creamy. The tiramisu was wonderful too. We both had glasses of wine, but there was nothing special about it. The service was excellent and our server spoke Italian and the host was very kind and checked in with us. The good rating was for the dessert and the service."

  • "This restaurant is right by Rodeo drive and I take folks who visit me to this place to treat them for a "Hollywood fancy lunch experience". The food is great and the service is also excellent. Their bread is also amazing!"

  • "Great food. It was my friends birthday and I had added a note on the reservation asking for them to bring out a dessert for her, and they didn't, so I was somewhat bummed. But overall good Italian food, good vibes and all that jazz"

  • "The atmosphere, the food, the people...Italian! Excellent choice for dining in Beverly Hills. Don't go to the other Italian restaurant wannbe's if you want real Italian. Go to Da Pasquale!"

  • "A surprising number of unusually interesting meat and fish specials on a Saturday) but a long list of pizzas and -- drumroll, please -- really spectacular pasta, as good as I've had in Los Angeles. The owner greeted us and chatted with us, pointed out his wife and kids working there. I think this makes a huge difference, it's like visiting your Italian relatives. My wife and I brought a guest from out of town, who happens to owns a restaurant in North Carolina which recently won the award for best casual dining in the State -- and he loved, really loved the food, especially the ossobuco. Packed with mostly adults and families, attentive service, easy parking, not objectionably noisy."

  • "This place is fantastic. Some of the best authentic Italian food I've had here in the US and you won't go broke eating there. I highly recommend Da Pasquale!"

  • "Wrong on order and handled badly. Food just ok. In past bread awesome now poor. For lunch took too long to get check. On wrong order side dish requested was missing. Waiter took entire plate away to wait for side dish. Made table wait ."

  • "Truly some of the most authentic Italian food I have ever experienced! This family-owned restaurant specializes in superb Italian cuisine and was an exceptional location to take guests visiting from the East Coast who also thought it was spectacular."

  • "I have been coming here for years. The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcomed. The service was great even on a swamped Friday night. The food is the reason I come back. The quality of the food is amazing. The prices are fair. Overall one of my favorite restaurants that never disappoints. "

  • "It was our first time in Beverly Hills and we found this restaurant online and decided to check it out. We were expecting just the average Italian restaurant. We couldn't have been more wrong. No words can describe how amazing the food was. Great service and friendly staff even though it was packed. The noise level was energetic. I'm sure Beverly Hills is full of great restaurants but this one is definitely worth checking out. "

  • "We met up with old friends who are LA locals. They had not heard of Pasquale's, but they sure do now. The menu was full of goodness. Generous, delicious preparations and healthy. We had a string of small plates and pizza for appetizers. Finished with lasagna, great ragu. So happy they do BYO with reasonable corkage. Allows wine snobs to pull something out of the cellar. Service was entertaining, also. Tab was really reasonable. Will make this a regular stop when in LA."

  • "Had a group of 10 people and the service was great. Table was ready promptly at the reservation time of 6pm. Earlier is better b/c it's starts to get very busy around 7. The food was authentic and amazing. The entire table raved about the bread, pizza and pastas. Our server was nice enough to keep our cake until dessert and even cut it for us. Great service, great food. Couldn't have asked for a better night!"

  • "We eat here often and are never disappointed by the food or the service. The daily specials are excellent. But, try the risotto. It's always terrific. The service is consistently good. We typically take our 5 year old with us, too. He loves the pizza and says it’s the best - he's right. While its family friendly, it does not have the craziness of some other restaurants that cater to kids. "

  • "Da Pasquale is consistently one of the best Italian restaurants in Beverly Hills. There is a very wide range of choices on the menu, with something for every taste. The food never disappoints, and the service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended."

  • "Love this restaurant. The food is as good as it is in Italy. The owner and servers are so nice and friendly . They appreciate your business . We go there for lunch a lot. They received an excellent review so now it is very busy and if you are on lunch break, it takes a long time because the food is made to order so we can only go there when we have extra time. We went there for dinner and the noise level for lunch is ok but for dinner it's way too noisy . But it's the best Italian food in L A.!!!."

  • "Came upon Da Pasquale through an Internet search and it surpassed all expectations! From the friendly greeting at the door to the fantastic service you are made to feel like a welcome guest. All that pales in comparison to the food which is amazing! Every dish individually prepared and served piping hot. Best italian restaurant we've been to ever!"

  • "We had a 6:45 reservation. We were seated at 7:15. We received no menus, water or bread until 7:30. The food came quickly once we ordered. It was adequate at best. The waiter asked us to "move on" almost as soon as they cleared the plates as people were waiting for our table. We were not offered coffee or desert. We will not go back. Out on the street in front of the restaurant anther couple said the same thing."

  • "We love Italian restaurants that don't mess with recipes so much the original recipe is barely recognizable. We love Italian food made with fresh ingredients & by talented hands. This is exactly what you'll eat @ Da Pasquale. Favorites include their pizzas with thin crust done in their new oven! We love the vegetable antipasti plate, which is always a favorite with friends we bring here. Wine list is solid. Service is always polite, helpful and efficient. You'll love their gorgeous and tasty bread, straight from the oven. Finally, the restaurant uses excellent olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This is important to us. The taste of cheap olive oil cannot be disguised & ruins the flavor of any food to which it is added."
