The food was out of this world. I had seared Octopus salad and chianti braised short ribs with burrata risotto. Incrediable... My wife had the grilled scampi with orange honey salad and sweet corn ravioli and lobster. She loved it. I will probably not be dining here again soon, due to the high prices. However, I'm glad that I got to experience it all at least once. It is very romantic, and very well managed. The food was delisious, although the short-rib I had was just slightly salty for my taste but it was still excellent. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Even though this dining room is small, the noise level was very good. It was easy to carry on a conversation in moderate tones and still be heard across the table. I do think the wine list was a bit pricy for the quality of the wines offered, but other than that I think the prices were good for such excellent fare.

Just the correct balance of great service from an obviously well trained staff, and super delicious food. The octopus is THE BEST we have ever eaten anywhere!!
