I have never been dissapointed with the food when I go here. Definatly a great little Italian restaurant.
Service is good but while I don't mind that the waiters are n't on top of you, sometimes waiting for th ebill can take a longtime.

Was hoping for more with service and quality of food. Waiter was bleh and food was hit or miss. The orrichette with broccoli and sausage was sadly a huge miss. Something was definitely wrong with the sausage. The other two dishes our table ordered were good, Manicotti and Garganelli Con Salsa Bolognese. We'll probably give them another chance, as we heard the pizza comes highly recommended. Side note: downstairs is an energetic noise level/ crowd and the upstairs is quiet to moderate.

Pretty good Murray Hill restaurant. Went there for pre-nye dinner and had the lobster fra diavlo special with linguini, it was very good and had plenty of sauce and spice. Girlfriend had the eggplant rigatoni entree, also very good, plenty of eggplant and cheese. Overall, a casual place with excellent pasta entrees.

My girlfriend and I were drawn on NYE specifically for the focaccia pizza, which all the user- and critical-reviews called the restaurant's signature dish (we were even seated under a Daily News article, mounted and framed, praising the dish). The pizza was literally just a cream cheese sandwich between two toasted pieces of flatbread-- I felt like I was eating breakfast, and not a very good one at that. Maybe we're just crazy, since every review seems to go crazy for this dish, but be warned-- you'll get a better, cheaper bagel at the diner across the street. Further, we went on NYE, and the waiter was very open about how the prices were raised specifically for the night. Thanks, Da Ciro!
