The food was delicious. The staff was kind enough to sign a card to be given to my father being we were out celebrating Father's Day early. Thank you for the service and the great food. The design of the interior is clean and open with a soaring ceiling with hand blown glass lights hanging down. The servers know what they are doing and pay close attention to every table. I had the grilled salmon salad, which was so good that I could easily eat it every day. Fresh warm salmon over greens with a fantastic dressing on them.. The chocolate lava cake with pistachio ice cream was to die for. We will be back! From the gal who sat us to Devon who served us and Topher at the bar, the service was outstanding and welcoming! Ordered an assortment of things since it was our first visit and nothing disappointed. Have to give a shout out to The Pick Me cocktail and Crüe fries. Keegan is present and involved with all aspects of the restaurant. Left feeling like we made a lot of new friends. All five of us were extremely please with our meal selections: Southern Chicken Belgian, Breakfast Sliders, Short Rib Hash, Kobe Sliders, "Chicken Fried" Steak. The sweet potato chips were such a treat, and we finished off with a tiramisu dessert (topped with a mocha macaroon and expresso granita). My husband had Cookies & Milk and I have the tropical key lime tart. Sublime. The staff was very knowledgeable and recommended some great wines ( I had a big, juicy zinfindel. Just what I was craving). My salmon was perfectly cooked (I wanted it medium) and the cheesy fries appitezer was devoured. I had to steal a few extra off my husband's plate.
Get a meal or just appetizers and do not, do not, leave with out dessert . The owner of Dbar Keagan was actually in the restaurant and I watched as he greeted every table and checked on every detail this guy is a real chef/restauranteur and smart businessman YOU Rarely find that in San Diego, as a matter of fact he actually brought our food to the table and checked on us at least 3 times.

The exterior of the cake is crispy yet moist. From the bacon wrapped dates (yum!); to the simple salad (perfect); the veggie-licious (who needs meat when it's that good?!?); the burgers and fries (heart-stopping!), to the perfectly grilled salmon. And the desserts..... OH MY!!! We were going to share four desserts among six of us, but after one bite no one wanted to give away even a spoonful of what they had! And the tiramisu martini - OMG. And the coffee that comes in a press, so you can decide how strong you want it - brilliant! Nothing worse than a fine meal finished off with mediocre coffee. The fires were too die for..the best thing we had. Both my sister and I had the Caesar salad and it was very good and my salmon was cooked to perfection. The appetizer was super (the bacon-wrapped dates); we will have to go back and try more appetizers! My husband had the buttermilk fried chicken with the savory waffle. This is a sandwich (which the menu does not make clear), and it was wonderful! I had the rib eye on a bed of white cheddar vanilla mashed potatoes...the potatoes were out of this world fantastic! The steak was a little troublesome; I ordered medium rare, and it came out well done (no pink at all). They made another, and this one was too rare. Had the koby beef sliders with garlic steak Frits that were mouthwatering. The blue cheese and bacon salad with beets rocked. I stuffed down the sinfully delicious chocolate lava cake with a scoop of pistachio and a truffle in the middle. The chef paid us a visit and I couldn't compliment him enough.
