"What a delightful evning! I treated my S.O. to dinner for his birthday (his heritage is German) and everything was perfect. We shared a great bottle of Reisling - very reasonable price - and both ordered the wienerschnitzel, which was served with two sides; I had the red cabbage and fresh spinach w/garlic and Ken had the mashed potatoes and red cabbage. The piece de resistance was the apple strudel which Ken ordered to celebrate. It was served with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and a lighted sparkler in honor of his birthday. We definitely will go back again."

"If you like homemade German style restaurant, this is the place to go. This is a family run restaurant but with excellent food and good service. While the restaurant is small it has a large menu I particularly liked the pork special – it was done the way Grandma would have made it."

"This was our first time here and we were both excited to have great German food. We both had the veal special, which was outstanding. The gravy was delicious, spinach, sauerkraut, potatoes were all delicious. We were there on a Saturday night and it does attract a family crowd, which is generally a plus, as the kids were well behaved. We will be returning in the next month or so and would strongly recommend this restaurant to others."

"Off the beaten path... small and plain looking... extremely pleasant and helpful staff...food that was out of this world (make sure you save room for the home-made desserts). Truly a gem and I believe the Cypress Nook offers the best German food in all of south Florida! For a casual evening out with fabulous food, you must go here!"

"This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It is family run and the food tastes home cooked. The portions are quite generous and everything was delicious!! We also enjoyed a fabulous pinot noir and will have to find out the name so we can enjoy it again."

"Excellent meals, nice ambiance but service, although very pleasant, was extremely slow on a Saturday night. It was fine because four of us, old friends were catching up on each other's lives, but we waited almost an hour for our entrees. On the other hand, the meals are so tasty and the portions are generous and the service is friendly and nice."

"This was our second time in 45 days and I have to admit... wish we hadn't had to leave for "up north" since I am ready again !
The food was great both times, but the waitress was superb... I wasn't sure what kind of wine I wanted and she suggested the house Resling... wish I had bought a bottle.. it was great. Our guests were "lost" and she suggested the pretzel while we waited... hot, soft and just the right kind of mustard dip with a zing ! By then, our friends arrived and we were able to order right away (they had gotten lost and were starving) . Our food , all four different eals, were beyond description... so good and so reasonably priced. And the key lime pie... to die for... and you can make a reservation for 2 or 4.we'll be back"
