Service was great. We did eat earlier (right after work) so it could be different later in the evening and on weekends. I've been trying for 6 years to find a steak as good as Joseph's in Bridgeport Ct and I'm sad to say I still haven't. Cuts is good but not great. The steak was the best thing I had although the truffle asparagus came in a close second. I just felt the food was ok and not really worth the price. But I could definitely be holding it up against something I won't find in Atlanta. So that is why I'd still recommend it.

  • Amazing Grilled Ribeye

My steak was excellent! I expected to enjoy my steak but not as much as I did. I do think that they put so much effort into the steaks that they forgot that the sides need to be seasoned too. The sauteed spinach was blah, the garlic mash even more blah, but the grilled Ribeye was perfection. The waitstaff was a bit slow and not attentive but I can't say that it is the whole dynamic of the entire restaurant that may have just been my server. If you go request to sit in the pit it has a much more intimate vibe than the regular dining area. Overall 4 out of 5. I'll be back.

Excellent food. Steak had just a little too much fat on my strip. Don't get the asparagus. Even though it was delicious, it was $6 for 4 pieces. For 2 steaks, 2 sides, and 2 wines was $90. Kinda pricey but still nice.

Overall the experience was very pleasant, good to great, but not excellent. The main detractor was the choice of background music (jazzy) and the loudness; these would have been more appropriate for some place like Chili's or Appleby's. They did not contribute to a quiet, romantic dining experience. The service was good but just a little too "relaxed" for me to call outstanding. A little more formality on the part of the wait staff would have been preferred; I don't particularly care to converse with the wait staff about anything other than the menu and service. The food was good, the price was as expected, and the drinks from the bar were excellent.

my husband and I were staying at the Westin for a convention and are pretty much locked in all day and it is hard to find a great restaurant that is close by and quality everything. just a few blocks away we went to Cuts to celebrate and it was perfect. We had Shayna and J waiting on us and tried yummy drinks, shrimp cocktail, both of us got the Ribeye and then the cheesecake with peaches and Chocolate martinis...we had a great romantic booth, great music, great service. We will be back next year. ;)

The food at Cuts was great! We enjoyed everything we ate! The pimento Mac and cheese is AMAZING! The service was just okay. The waiter didn't know about gluten friendly selections and would disappear for longish periods of time. The manager did come by to check on us so I didn't feel neglected.

We were over looked, I had to ask for a straw twice and I also, had to ask for bread and silver. After being there for 45 mins, I ask my server for our bill and she said okay and went to get the manager. Our food came just as the manager got there and apologized, so we decide to stay. My partner ate his meal and he said that it was great, I had kind of lost my appetite. My server did apologized and she was sincere about which made me feel much better.

Our steak was excellent as were the sides we ordered (pimento mac & cheese and wedge). Service was slow but I blame management. Our server was assigned to too many tables and her assistant was absent for long intervals. Atmosphere was nice, low lighting. A good spot for a romantic dinner.

Waiter was a great kid who attends Georgia State. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The steaks were just okay as the Cuts Ribeye was marinated in a very nice soy-based sauce but the meat itself was of a lower quality than I would expect at those prices. The brussel sprouts were okay but they were not cooked to the proper texture -- they were too tough. Overall, just a decent experience.

Entertaining clients and chose Cut for it's location convenient to our respective hotels, but convenient location was the only good thing about Cut. This is mediocre food at real steakhouse prices. Appetizers were nothing special, salad old lettuce poorly dressed thrown in the smallest salad bowl i have ever seen, NY Strip and Ribeye steaks were thinly cut, fatty and room temp by the time we got them. Inattentive staff delivered un-ordered salads, entrees to someone other than the person who ordered it, and we had to ask for dessert menus, coffee and waited 25 minutes for the check. Worst, manager on duty could have cared less when I stayed behind to let him know of my disappointment. Recommend anywhere but CUT, this place is awful.

The food here was great and a nice change from the bar food we had been eating while at the convention we were in town for. However the services left a lot to be desired. We made reservations for 10 and needed to change to 8, we waited about 10 minutes while they set up the new configuration for our group. When we got the the table it was still set for 10 - so we stood there while it was changed. Service after that was slow and not overly friendly for the type f dining experience we had. Check came while two people were still eating and no one was offered a desert menu. The food however was great! Was like a 4 star dining experience but brought to to you by 2 star service. I have had better service at a chain restaurant.

I went here in September 2014 for my anniversary dinner. We wanted something nice, fine dining but affordable. Cuts Atlanta fit the bill. Booking with an online, we screwed up our reservation time but someone from the restaurant actually called to ensure that we were coming and held our table. The restaurant was dimly lit with quiet romantic music playing. We were able to sit in a corner and enjoy each other, peacefully without any interruptions. The service was superior! Our waiter was very attentive and informative. The FOOD was phenomenal!!! We shared the fried green tomatoes and a house salad. We both had the Rib-eye steaks with the roasted garlic potatoes. Absolutely AMAZING!!! THE BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Highly recommended!

We went there for a business dinner with a party of 9. Everything went off without a hitch. The Manager offered wine suggestions and the wait staff was very attentive without being intrusive. I heard no complaints about the food or wine, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We had one vegetarian in our group; the chef prepared a special dish for them rather than just put together a vegetable plate. This was much appreciated and enjoyed.

Lunch group of 5 seated quickly with reservation. Service attentive & helpful but not overbearing. Steak salad ordered by most looked good & all enjoyed. My shrimp & grits were extraordinary. Six large shrimp grilled or sauted (not sure) to perfection - done but not overdone on top of grits with perfect consistency & flavor. I normally eat about half the portion provided for lunch and ended up scraping my plate.

It seems like they focused so much on decor and training their employees that they forgot to work on the menu. My dining guest and I went for lunch during work. We both got salads, me the ahi tuna and him the cobb. The fish was cooked really well but the lettuce leaves weren't that tasty and the dressing was so oily making the plate a drenched mess. Overall, I was unimpressed and felt like I paid more for the ambiance of the space. Will not be returning

I was in town visiting when I came across this place. I love trying new places and thought it comparable to Ruth's Chris so wanted to give it a try. HANDS DOWN BEST FOOD. I haven't had food with that much flavor in a long time. Best service from a young lady who I believe her name was Jalesia? Or something along those lines. (I'm sorry I didn't keep the receipt :() definitely will recommend to anyone and if I'm back in Atlanta sometime soon I will be going back! 100 times better than Ruth's Chris.

I placed a reservation via Open Table, and when I arrived was sat on the outside balcony after it had just rained. When asking for a different table, was told that we should have reserved on the phone rather than online through Open Table. We reluctantly stayed after they toweled off the wet chairs. Then we experienced all the complaints that were spotlighted in previous reviews. Bad, inattentive, unprofessional, and often confused wait staff. Missing food items. Appetizers coming out after entrees. Steak over cooked by many degrees. Would definitely never come back to this restaurant, and there are many finer quality restaurants within walking distance.

Our waitress was not great, not very attentive and seemed to have a limited knowledge of the food. She was polite but did not fit the caliber of service I'd expect from a restaurant like this. Appetizers were good, entrees were good, the house steak sauce was okay and the Caesar salad tasted like it had generic store bought dressing (not very appetizing) but it did have anchovies on it which was great. The herb butter that came with the bread was amazing as was the prime rib (would love the horseradish sauce to have more actual horseradish). Overall I'd say this was a pleasant dining experience and I would return to try other items on the menu.

The evening was a bit of a disappointment, made so by service-though eager and friendly-was NOT professional. Everything from not removing extra place settings until asked, to removing food that we were still eating without first asking took away from the overall enjoyment of a very tasty meal. Also, Cuts has patrons relying on public parking. At these prices, they could do better on both fronts.
