  • "There are so many steak houses in Vegas that it is hard to find one that is any different from the others. Cut makes itself stand out from the pack. They come over with a tray and show you samples and explain the different qualities of the meats they offer. They give several pass outs which makes the dining experience more fun. We had two severs and they were both very attentive and friendly. The food was very good, but not off the charts. That said, the prices were fair for a high end steak house on the strip. All in all, it was a good value and a very nice dining experience."

  • "OK - but nothing that was memorable. We were seated 30 minutes late for our reservation and we thought our waiter had completely forgotten about us. After that - the service was good. We had the bone in filet and lobster along with the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Mashed potatoes were just that -- no special flavor. Mac and cheese - tasted like they didnt melt all of the cheese as it was grainy and for $19 -- I thought it should be outstanding. Steak was excellent and lobster is lobster (truffle sauce was nice). We will visit again for the steaks - but dont expect anything else to wow you."

  • "I made reservations weeks in advance to celebrate our anniversary. We were in town for two days and were staying at the Palazzo, where CUT is located. When the hostess called to confirm our reservation, she mentioned our anniversary celebration. We arrived and were seated in the lounge (not the best ambviance). Our servers were great at explaining the dishes but completely disregarded our anniversary. I would recommend their Cobb salad-wonderful flavor! We both ordered the 21 day aged filet. It didn't taste much different than a Ruth Chris' fillet. Spinach and potato sides were tasty. We had high expectations and it was a bit of a let down. Expect to drop 250-300 for a dinner for two ( we each had 2 drinks)."

  • "Taste Bud Bliss Beautiful contemporary upscale decor. Our knowledgable waiter gave us a an introductory description about their cuts of steaks and gladly answered my party's questions. My buddy and I each ordered 14 oz NY strip. Asked mine medium with mushroom topping and it was amazing. Nice and pink in the middle and crust cooked just enough. Took my time savoring every bite of this steak. The ladies ordered filet mignon. Neither are big meat eaters but their facial expressions when they took their firt bites were priceless! The iPad drink menu--with photos of the drinks with full description-- was a very nice touch. Came here in a group of four and spent two hours of taste bud bliss. Highly recommend this stakehouse in Las Vegas."

  • "Sorry, but the steaks were not as good as anticipated. Tender, but not as tasty and flavorful as anticipated. Sides were excellent. Dessert was outstanding. I think they were short staffed, waiter hardly had a chance to return and make sure we needed anything. Over all a strong "B""

  • "The food was fantastic and the staff were very kmowledgeable on the types of meat and recommended wines from the extensive wine list to go with the stea. Expensive but for a treat well worth it"

  • "I've eaten at nearly all the high end steak resturants , but Cut is clearly a cut above. Service was great, Steaks practically melt in your mouth. Be prepared for the bill , a bit pricey ."

  • "I was completely blown away by the professional attentiveness of the front of the house staff. I would imagine that such professionalism and drive to please guests come from an exceptionally well mannered general manager and very talented executive chef. By the way, whom hit a home run with everything I had the pleasure of tasting. Thank you "Chef Matt Hurley". I was excited to be at CUT from the moment my wife and I sat at the table with those highly addictive cheese sticks, the Russian service on premises baked breads, sirloin steaks to die for, the delicious accompaniments prepared to perfection, and finally the dessert . The banana cream pie as a name, is an understatement to it's presentation and divine flavor. Well done crew!"

  • "This is my new favorite steakhouse. The filet I had melted in my mouth and the side of Wolfgang's version of Mac & Cheese w/gruyere, parmesan, and mozzarella baked on top was amazing! The service is perfect. No one gets their dish delivered to the table until all of the dishes are ready, and then waiters surround your table and put the dishes down simultaneously. That is a well-trained staff! Cut also has a nice wine list and you order from a tablet. I ate at lots of restaurants in Vegas during my week stay, and this was my favorite."

  • "One of the top steakhouse experiences to have...even compared to the Chicago and NYC steakhouses. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly (not stuffy at all). Food was exceptional. The only 2 comments are that it is a touch on the loud side (though not too much so), and that the American Wagyu steaks were fun to try, but weren't head and shoulders above the regular steaks (though were worth trying). Great experience overall...and very glad we went there."

  • "I can not describe the quality of food that we had at Cut. Exquisite doesn't do it justice. They use the best ingredients and it certainly shows. Excellent service, DO NOT MISS Cut when in Vegas! Tuna Tartare and the Wagyu Rib Eye are my favorites."

  • "I didn't care for the Waygu beef hard sell. It left a bad taste in my mouth-no pun intended. Also, I wish the restaurant offered grass fed angus beef. It was disappointing. Finally, a small comment about their dish design. It won't hold the knive so the knive slides into the food. Annoying. Apparently, the servers said everyone complains about it. SO CHANGE IT!"

  • "It was our first time at Cut and we were not disappointed. The best Dover Sole I have ever had and the meat was outstanding. Although expensive it is well worth it an we will return."

  • "Having been to many of the finest steakhouses in America, I know the difference between good and great. This is a great steakhouse experience. I had the Porterhouse for 2 which I consumed myself. It was well prepared and while the meat wasn't quite the same quality as you might find at Peter Luger, it was top notch. My wife had the filet which was prepared perfectly to her liking (medium well). They have several very expensive cuts of wagyu that we did not try. The starters and sides (mac and cheese, creamed spinach) were excellent, and the desserts were amazing (banana cream pie, choc soufflé). You'll pay for this experience, but it is worth it."

  • "Our service was impeccable by our entire waitstaff! Food was amazing, i cannot eat steak anywhere else from this point on. Appetizers blew our whole table away. Very impressed and our head waiter lazlo made our newly wed dinner one to remember."

  • "Service, food, surroundings all superb. Staff excellent and very (genuinely) friendly. I ate at Picasso in the Bellagio the night before and although food was also nice, it ended there and CUT is very much better overall and better priced."

  • "I celebrated my 30th birthday with CUT on July 4th. The Service was spectacular (as always). Our Waiter Matthew was so attentive and awesome...and his second hand man as well. The entire staff makes you feel welcome to the establishment. Love that!!! So we go the Bone In Ribeyes, Pureed Potatoes, Fingerling Potatoes, and the Macaroni & Cheese. Pureed Potatoes and the Mac&Cheese were exceptional!!! I've been here before that the food was great. Fingerling Potatoes were not great...we traded them for more mashed...our steaks were undercooked and when they came back they were overcooked. My Mom ended up not eating...put a damper on the birthday celebration. Service was excellent though. Team took care of her steak."

  • "My wife and I celebrated both our 45th and 46th anniversaries at Cut. They go out of their way to make you feel special. All of our food was outstanding--breads, steaks, fries, onion rings, dessert. Both the steaks and onion rings are the best we have ever tasted. The service is second to none--the best we have ever experienced. If we go back to Las Vegas for our anniversary next year, we will certainly have dinner at Cut once more. The noise level was "moderate" because the restaurant was full. It did not interfere with our conversation or create any bother whatsoever."

  • "Attended cut with my wife for our 10 year anniversary dinner the staff went above and beyond to make this a special night the food was amazing it was such a great atmosphere after our meal the chef sent out a special desert that was customized just for us. Great place to eat would highly recommend this to anyone going to Las Vegas for a unforgettable dining experience"

  • "We have been to CUT several times and it was outstanding as usual. We both had the Filet Mignon with a side of summer corn. The Long Island Ice Teas were outstanding and the steak was as tender and tasty as I have ever tasted. The service, as usual, was impeccable."

  • "Aside from the really great steak and warm veal tongue salad two other things were outstanding. First, the service was excellent. The wine recommendation was just right for me. As it was a younger red, I asked for it to be put in the blender and the response was "Certainly!" My server knew about this trick to make younger wines open up quickly. My wine came back in a carafe, ready to drink. Second, the wine list was on an iPad which they left with me at the table to research their offerings. Besides the usual info, it had links to more details about the wine and winery, and it could be sorted in several ways. I was by myself on business and it was fun to pass the time this way. I will definitely return and recommend them highly."

  • "My mother, sister & I had dinner here our last night in Las Vegas. Everything was perfect, we were seated immediately & we received specialty cocktails shortly after. Our server, unfortunately I forget her name, was fabulous. She gave the best food descriptions I've ever heard & her recommendations were right on point. We were celebrating my sisters 21st birthday & they brought out a special dessert for her. Our entire experience exceeded our expectations."

  • "I love a great steakhouse so was really looking forward to a trip to Cut. The service was outstanding, really top notch. The food however left more than a little to be desired in my opinion. The server did explain that they "generously season" their steaks and he was right. Unfortunately for me it was too much and all I could taste was salt and pepper which hid what I'm sure was a great steak."

  • "Try any one of their 35 day dry aged steaks, excellent!"

  • "I ordered the ribeye which ended up being a fairly small piece of meat with virtually no char. We ordered the spinach and the mushrooms as our side, which for $12 and $18 each were very small portions that lacked any seasoning/flavor. After the waiter finally came back to check on the food and I expressed my displeasure he seemed very remorseful and apologized--he said he would inform his manager. The manager never came to our table to apologize. Lastly, after the poor main course our deserts took over 20 minutes after we completed our meals before they arrived (which were complimentary for our birthday celebration). Next time around we'll stick to the high-end steak houses that we know will deliver top-notch food AND service."

  • "Seriously the best food we had in quite a while. However, server was quite rude and definitely lacked personality. Likewise, we were a party of 11 - told we'd be all together, then told they didn't have a table large enough... Although when we walked in there was definitely a large table of a large party (I made reservations 3 months in advance) - it was just a bit inconvenient considering. The wine list was spectacular - and the food was worth every penny!"

  • "Not what used to be and now overpriced for what it is ... There are better"

  • "The service as mentioned was great. Our waiter even provided a stain removal pen when I had an accident. My wife and I split the 20Oz Ribeye. It looked great and was pretty good, but not as good as I thought it would be for the price of $63.00. I think it should have been a bit more flavorful than it was. The onion rings were very good, but the wild mushrooms were not memorable. I know this is a high end steak restaurant, but it would be nice if you could get a glass of wine for less than $16 or so. Wolfgang Puck has many great restaurants and we got to Spagos in the Caesar's Forum area every time we are in Vegas. We went there twice this trip."

  • "We ate at CUT one evening in Las Vegas. We started with cocktails at the bar, and these were quite good. Dinner was a couple of salads and the American wagyu beef. Wagyu is better than most steak. Not quite as good as real Japanese Kobe beef, but darn good. We skipped dessert but were given two tiny, very good free desserts. Based on these, I would expect dessert at CUT to be excellent."

  • "This is the 4th time we have eaten at the Cut and as usual it was outstanding! I think this time was the best. I have to say it was the most pleasant evening we've had in a long time. You should also know that the are very concerned with any allergies you may have and go out of their way to ensure that there will be no problems. Will be back our next trip."
    Dined on 6/25/2014
  • "Of course it's expensive; you know that going in. However, you're paying for an amazing food experience and CUT did not disappoint. I took mostly server suggestions and left thoroughly satisfied. If it's time to celebrate something, do it at CUT."
    Dined on 6/21/2014
  • "Reserved Cut months in advance only to be seated in the corner of a side room with NO beauty at all. I was embarrassed to bring a party of 4 there. $900 for dinner and that's the seat you give me? Not coming again!!"

  • "This was perhaps the greatest dining experience I've ever had. I took my wife here for our 8 year wedding anniversary and not only was the steak and sides delectable as always, but everyone from the hostess to the waiter to the manager went OUT OF THEIR way to make our night as special as possible. They left us with a card that had the sticker from the bottle of wine affixed to it next to a personal handwritten note, and provided us a dessert on the house with white pineapple that was utterly indescribable. The very best service and dining experience in Las Vegas."

  • "We had reservations for 10 people from our company at 6:30 on a Friday evening. We were promptly seated when we arrived but the table was not big enough to fit 10 people comfortably. We were shoulder to shoulder and getting out of your seat to go to the restroom took some effort. The people behind us and on each side of us had to move just so we could climb out of our seats. The food was AMAZING and the service was pretty good. I had put on the special instructions that we had a show to attend at 9:30 and we needed to be out by 9. We were out of there about 5 minutes after nine and one of our people had to cancel his desert order. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends but it's just not set up for large groups."
