My guests were from out of town and thought it was a terrific place, very New York. B My daughter selected The Cupping Room for brunch based on reviews. We had wonderful food and a great time. I had the eggs benedict florentine which was delightful. I was also very pleased with the side salad. My son had the same but with home fries which also were very good. Others had pancakes with various toppings and sides which were enjoyed. The crowd was young and attractive, the "Salty Dog" was delicious with fresh grapefruit juice, and the food was yummy. The staff was pleasant and accomodating. I ate a brie omelet that was fabulous and we shared a tasty sour cream and raspberry muffin. The coffee was very good - as expected given the restaurant's history! Great location in SoHo too! I loved the jazz music playing in the background.
We had a wonderful waitor who served us dinner prior to going to the other room where we painted.

For brunch it's a great place, good location, easy to find, yummy food. It can get quite busy at times, so best to book a table over the weekend. Price is reasonable too.
