Cumin Eclectic CuisineAs Good As It GetsA couple months ago, the Cincinnati Enquirer had a list of Cincinnati restaurants that offered an outstanding brunch. We decided to try Cumin for a real treat on Mother's Day 2013. We were not disappointed. The buffet had excellent choices. We especially liked the New Zealand lamb chops. We will definitely recommend Cumin and will be back ourselves for dinner.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother wonderful experience! This was our second time at Cumin. Once again the food was amazing, but the service was over the top. In addition to being a neighborhood gem, I would describe this as a "hidden gem". While there wasn't an open table to be found by 8 pm, there were no lines, or crowded bar areas to distract diners. During both of our visits to Cumin, we were able to get a reservation the morning of our desired date---a rarity among Top Restaurants in Cincinnati. Great job to all! We will be back for sure!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific dining experience,Terrific dining experience, far and above any I've enjoyed elsewhere in the past several months.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMOur entrees and sides wereOur entrees and sides were excellent and the service outstanding. The dessert was a disappointment though, a few pieces of molasses cake with a sauce, very blah, did not meet the standard set by the entrees and sides.
It was rather noisy, too loud to talk comfortably, but we were sitting in the bar area. Perhaps the dining room would have been quieter.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMCumin is generally our favoriteCumin is generally our favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. Usually we just let Alex, the owner pick the food and the wine. He never disappoints .Saturday Was another wonderful experience. was no exception, The one thing we can say about cumin is you Sort of need to be willing to go for it. If you're looking for a steak ....where is your salad bar .. Kind of thing, keep on going. Coumadin is a unique robust and exceptional dining experience.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGenerally high marks from tough criThis was a nice stop on our monthly "date night." Really great wine suggestion (not published on the wine list, a great Cabernet from Alexander Valley.) The menu is short and concise, which I like. We ordered the butter chicken, and the Sous Vide tenderloin, both excellent. I understand that this restaurant gets mixed reviews, but on our night out, this restaurant is exactly what we wanted and needed. A nice place close to where we live...thanks!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMPleasantly Delighted! We enjoyed the 3 course Chef's tasting late on a Thursday night. The restaurant was quiet but the chef delighted us with 3 fabulous courses all with excellent wine pairings. We were 1/2 way through the second course and were talking about coming back!!!3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMAbsolutely love the eclecticAbsolutely love the eclectic menu. I could fill up on their appetizers alone. The steamed pork belly buns are a must have. Mark was a great server. The price is a bit high but you will leave full and satisfied3/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
