Seeing the menu online, we were excited,but the execution was flawed for most of what we ordered. The staff seemed new and had some problems describing what was what--told us they were serving "Pacific bay" oysters cooked, and "Kumos" for the raw--when they appeared, they were large, not pleasant Pacifics for the raw, & some small ones (unlike any Kumamotos we had had) cooked--and overwhelmed by the sauces. Pork belly benedict was excellent,could have had more of a crisp crust & more seasoning . . .some reviews complained of too much salt, maybe the kitchen held back because of them, but much of the food was bland. Wedges salad was decent; lighting is TERRIBLE for the food--makes it all look gray. Techno vibe music was bad for fine dining.

Restaurant opens at 5pm. Had a reservation at 5pm. Told by the server that half of the main entree items on the menu not available for another hour. Only items available were the seafood items. That's just crazy. Restaurant was not busy. But food served were not warm. Server didn't greet us. Came over and just stood there ready to write down the orders. Extremely slow services.

It was a fiasco in this place..the fire alarms went off while we were there..for a good 15-20 min and no one ever came by to say what was going on, or if it would be ok. Service was slower than a snail's pace and the food was sub-par. The servers were nice...but that's about it. everything was so disorganized. I don't think we will be going back.

I would not wish this experiencia on my worst enemies. We had made 8:45rrservations,arrived at 8:55pm we were toldit would take a while to seat. Then we were infotmed the kitchen was behind. It took more Than 30 min. To place our order. My niece got so nungry she walked over to cheescake factory for a slice of pie. Plus they were out of 1/3 of the menú.

Will never go again. Left after an hour and after our server tried to take our order for the third time. Only had bread after 45miutes and water. NEVER GOT DINNER!!!!! Left with out eating. Horrible HORRIBLE service. Staff has no clue how treat patrons.

This experience at Culture 22 is a lot better than my last visit here. We ordered the flank steak @ $18.00, very juicy and moist, BIG portion. I love the dressing on top, too much mustard though. My daughter ordered the chicken brisk, very juicy too. We both could not finish our entree. Potato waffle is a must-order item, $8. Big portion, very tasty. We strongly recommend. We also love the ceasar salad $7.00. The overall experience is very very nice. We love the waitress tonight.

General: I expected the food to be a lot better, considering the owner/chef is on the Food Network.
Negatives: The steak was really thin, my potatoes were raw, the mac and cheese sauce hardly gave flavor to the bland pasta.
On the plus side: The service was excellent!! I think we have 5 different people helping us. We were never left without water or needing anything.

We had a terrible experience here, the took a long time, the fire alarm went off and the staff ignores it. They didn't reassure the customers and just disappeared until the fire department arrived!

This restaurant is tragic. We arrived at 8:20 pm on a Monday evening, and they were out of more than 50% of the menu items - for main dishes, there were only 3 steaks available - no chicken, fish, non-steak options; only 2 salads and 2 appetizers available out of about 8 options for each category listed on the menu. We felt terrible for the wait staff who had to "break the news" to newly seated diners; given that challenge, our server had a good sense of humor about it all and was quite professional. I doubt they will be in business much longer.
