Culpepper Steak HouseMatt RNoisier than I remembered, though being Father's Day may explain that. By no means obnoxious, but I'm partial to the dim, quiet steakhouse that it normally is. Waiter provided us with excellent amount of service: enough to ensure we had everything, but not enough to interrupt and helped explain specials and a drink my wife was unsure the name of. Wild boar chops were a bit on the tough side--I'm guessing not piglets--but so glad I got to try them. Wife's filet mignon was pretty red for med. rare, but delicious! Sautéed mushrooms, Brussels sprouts were amazing. Wine selection was great. Salad, bread, crab cakes were very good. Both wife and I were happy with drinks. Very happy I chose Culpepper's. Will definitely return.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMNice place for special dinnersGood steaks, great atmosphere. Can't wait to make it back for a special occasion.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe visited Culpeppers withWe visited Culpeppers with my company in March 2013. The food was amazing, ambiance was perfect and the service was wonderful. They have a great patio and the intimate rustic setting is perfect for a romantic night out or anyone wanting a true TX venue. The only down side is it can be a little tricky to find and if you are on the patio, I-30 is right next door. Other than that I would recommend Culpeppers to anyone!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
