Culinary DropoutHad a terrific birthday dinner,Had a terrific birthday dinner, including Bistro steak (extremely tender), & home-made meatloaf (not dry at all, as we have had at so many places, served w/green beans (maybe out of a can? but that's what made it authentic) & mashed potato/gravy. Some terrific sourdough, crusty bread w/olive oil became addictive. Lovely warm monkeybread dessert, reminded us of an expanded upon bread pudding w/cinnamon, sugar. Had the Clown Punch made w/10 Cane rum, apricot brandy & oj, tropically smooth. Noise level wa sa bit high, Rehab pool backing up to the outdoor area, so it felt a little Ibiza-ish, not too bad though, & at 7PM the pool's music stopped and Culinary's piped music took over, nice. Alexa's service was spot on. will recommend and be back.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat staff + beer listWe had antipasti, oysters, crab legs, burger and salad, and it was all delicious. But the best part was an interesting beer list and a great personable server! We would definitely return.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMfun and great foodGreat outdoor seating and fun menu. The pretzels are awesome and the stroganoff was amazing. Meatloaf was lacking flavor though. Service was good, we were in a hurry for a show and they hustled for us. Overall great experience, will be back.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a nice time. Sat atWe had a nice time. Sat at the bar for late dinner and had great service.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat service, open tableGreat service, open table made the experience so much better with the reservations. Restaurant was loud at first with the techno music from the pool, but got better once it was done. Love the furniture, decor, staff is fantastic. We ordered a variety of dishes and shared. I would definitely return!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was great. TheEverything was great. The food was amazing, the server was fantastic, and the vibe was good.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall this was a very goodOverall this was a very good experience. We had read some unfavorable reviews on service, but our waitress was outstanding, and our food came out promptly even with a packed house. I would recommend this, and i will plan to go back.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGet the fried chicken. GetGet the fried chicken. Get the pretzel fondue. Get to Culinary Dropout! We had a group of six wander over here based based on a few positive online reviews, and a few of us were weary of what to find. All in all, this was a truly wonderful experience, one where you aren't breaking the bank with food or drink. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone taking a trip to Vegas. The chicken seemed to have a rib rub in the breading, which was absolutely delicious. Definitely check this place out.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMFunWent to Culinary Dropout before seeing Def Leppard and it was a lot of fun. Service was good except it was hard to tell who worked there vs customers. The staff does not wear any type of uniform. They have a really nice outdoor sitting sitting area by the pool. The food was very good! We both had the bistro steak with handcut fries. You have to try the fries, they're really yummy and crunchy.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful place to go at theWonderful place to go at the Hard Rock hotel in Vegas. Really enjoyed the eclectic food and drink menu, but not an overwhelming menu like some restaurants.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe love the location in ScottsdaleWe love the location in Scottsdale so we decided to give this one a try...the food was outstanding! Pretzel bread with cheese fondue is our favorite. Great ambiance and decor. The outside seating is cozy and we loved the fire pits. We had dinner on a quiet Monday night...highly recommend!4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome Place! We went to Culinary Dropout twice...once before the concert and once afterwards. On both occasions we were greeted by the same hostess who was friendly and helpful and energetic and had great servers both times as well. Food was great except the burgers were very undercooked. We will definitely go back again when in Vegas!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI would focus on the cocktailI would focus on the cocktail selections - great creations that are excellent. The Smashed Irishman - recommended by my waiter Jared without hesitation for a whiskey drinker - was fantastic. Probably one of the best drinks I've ever had. It's a blend of Jameson, "reduced Guinness" and mint. So good that I'll have to try to figure out that at home very soon. Also, they had a useful pre-concert menu too that was affordable and popular, but we went with other food choices. Great night there - would love to come back and see more of this interesting space.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved the space - wereWe loved the space - were seated at a table just on the edge of indoors/outdoors which was perfect. The drinks were excellent - my husband is still talking about the bacon infused bloody mary. We had the fried chicken and the sweet corn canneloni. Both were excellent. Our server, Jarod, was friendly and attentive in a genuine way and made us feel comfortable. We will definitely go back next time we are at the Hard Rock.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMsuggest great outdoor dining areanice pretty servers. little pricey for not as much food, but food was good. fiance had the fried chicken which was a good amount of food and i had the korean ribeye, which seemed like it wasn't as filling but still delicious. we stayed at the hard rock so the restaurant was convenient. we sat outside on the patio which is right next to the pool, which was closed by the time we got there. they had an open wall to the outside, nice modern seating, fire pits, and heated lamps. great casual ambiance, yet still romantic.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMAlthough the atmosphere wasAlthough the atmosphere was a bit loud (it is at hard rock after all), the fud was good American pub style fare. The Korean cap steak was unbelievably delicious!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMJust like I rememberedWent here after visiting one in Scottsdale. And once again was not disappointed. However I was hoping to get the same meal as last time, as it was probably the best thing I ever ate, but they changed the menu so I was a little disappointed. The pretzel rolls with cheese was amazing as always and the grilled artichokes were great. I highly recommend this place!!!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMCasual fun and great food. The food is great, and the appetizers are huge portions for sharing with groups (honestly, three of us could not finish the pretzel bites...we needed two more friends to do that). I prefer this place at night, though, because the noise from the pool overwhelms the restaurant a bit, even when sitting indoors. They have a ton of TVS, perfect for watching sports, especially March Madness. I will be back there soon, for sure.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a large group in VegasWe had a large group in Vegas for a birthday party. We had a good spot right in front of the band which was very interactive. The waiter/waitress staff was great they had great personalities ones that could deal with a few people who had some cocktails and acted a little "more loose". Food was very good, no complaints from one of the 12 people with us. definately recommend this place to others.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMCulinary Dropout has an inventiveCulinary Dropout has an inventive and delicious menu - all of the food and drinks we got were perfect and delicious. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, and the live music was entertaining and very good. The patio and fire pits are a nice touch for a relaxing evening outside.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious!! Love the "chooseDelicious!! Love the "choose your items" antipasti menu- the grilled asparagus, roasted tomatoes and artisan cheeses were excellent. Love this place and will definitely go back again. Perfect place to eat before going to a concert at Hard Rock.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat location at the Hardgreat location at the Hard Rock. Soft pretzels are the way to go to kick off the meal. The meatloaf and fried chicken are amazing. For lunch, the tuna salad is a perfect portion. Great beer list and a hip vibe.2/20/2013 12:00:00 AM
