This was my second time dining at Culinary Dropout. As always, the service was outstanding. I had the fried chicken this time (which from my understanding is one of their most popular dishes) and I was a bit underwhelmed. I must admit, however, that I am Southern, so I've had a lot of tasty fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and biscuits in my day. This dish was just so-so. I had a seafood dish on my last visit that was outstanding, so I'll be skipping the fried chicken on future visits. Highly recommend the pretzel rolls with fondue cheese.

I've yet to have a dish disappoint. The chicken curry is still by far a fave however the sweet potato cannelloni is rich and the blend of flavors is amazing. This time around a friend ordered the fried chicken for restaurant week menu and it was crisp on the outside and moist chicken on the inside. The salted caramel custard is the perfect blend of a sweet and salty. I like the cocktail menu as the drinks are blended by a mixologist and have great flavor and fresh juices.

My friends and I went here for a late dinner on Sunday for restaurant week. It wasn't busy at all...maybe 3 other tables. The antipasta appetizer where you can pick your own was great. Had the Manchego Cheese, Cured Olives, Prosciutto, asparagus and bread with olive oil. ..they were all great! Had a garden salad, fried chicken & chocolate bourbon pie. They were all good. The cocktails are a bit of an eclectic mix..they can be hit or miss. Unfortunately our waiter dampened the experience because he was slow and kept forgetting things. We had to remind him several times to bring water, checking on our food, drinks etc. Not sure uf we'll go back or not...probably just for happy hour.

Met friends here for dinner before concert. Menu seemed a little limited but the quality was outstanding. I had the shaved prime rib dip. The bread and meat was delicious. Probably the best I've had. Others in group really enjoyed their meal also. Price was good. Drink selection was good. Would recommend and visit againon next trip.

This is the 2nd location I've been to for Culinary Dropout (the have 2 in the Phoenix area, and this one in Vegas). The food is almost all made from scratch on location and it tastes it. My friends had the prime rib "french dip" and raved about it. Service has been wonderfully friendly in both locations, as well as attentive. This is a great casual place to get some pretty decent 'bar food."

We attended the Queen Concert on July 5 at Hard Rock. We went to Culinary Dropout for dinner first. Knowing that the Queen Concert was a sellout you would have expected the restaurant to be fully staffed for dinner. IT WAS NOT. Our waitress couldn't even take our order. Another waiter took our drink and food order at the same time. It took forever for the drinks to come. He apologized and said he is easily distracted. The food came and it was worse than the service. The fried chicken was cold and overcooked and uneatable. No one came back to ask if our food was ok. The wait staff are all dressed in regular clothing so you don't even know who works there. All I can say is to avoid this place at all costs.

Had a pre-concert dinner with a group of seven people, and three of us went back later for cocktails and late-night snacks. I ordered their soft pretzels before dinner, and almost ordered the again later in the evening, they were that good. The order is large, and the provolone fondue that comes as a dip is excellent. Had an entree salad that I really enjoyed, and others in our group ordered burgers, sandwiches, and other entrees. I didn't hear a single complaint. The beer selection and creativity of the cocktail menu are outstanding. Also enjoyed the house-made potato chips and carmel corn.

Fun live music. Great wait staff. Good food. We had a large group of people that only knew each other on the internet but we all came for the Queen + Adam Lambert concert. Several of us booked tables. I think there were more than 30 of us. We had a wonderful time thanks to everyone. Our waiter was amazingly accommodating. Drinks were fabulous too. Chicken meatballs and GIANT shrimp were my favorite appetizers.

Warned of long wait for fried chicken. It must of been being precooked as it came before the appetizer. Slaw not dressed, potatoes instant. Seared tuna salad was all chopped up together with shreds of "fishy-off-putting tuna" mixed in. Questionable quality. Left in the bowl. Canned Fat Tire---yucky metal taste Uncomfortable seating and loud canned music

I really wanted to love this place but somewhat disappointed. Great ambiance and our server Ben was very attentive. We started with the pretzel bites (which is their claim to fame) - it was delicious and a pure money maker for them. The portion is a hit too large for 2 people (I wish they has 2 sizes to choose from). We also had deviled eggs which was the highlight of it all. We choose ribs for the entree and being from the south, we expected a lot given the description. It was unfortunately over salted and we could only eat one rib. I expected him to take it off the bill or for the manager to acknowledge it but neither did. Anyway, hoping this place gets better as it has a lot of potential.

This was our second time at Culinary Dropout. With all of the selection in Vegas, we decided to go back, it's that good! Get the pretzels, they are amazing. Everything on the menu has been great so far. The live music on Friday night was a great addition. We were there with an 18 and 15 year old and they loved the eclectic mix played. Everything from a Miley Cyrus cover to Hotel California. Get the popcorn for dessert. Would have liked just a big bowl of the popcorn alone, but the caramel custard was good.

This was our 2nd time at Culinary Dropout and we had the best time. The food and drinks were excellent. The staff was very helpful with my drink selection and offered food suggestions. We didn't feel rushed, we were very comfortable and the timing was excellent. There was a variety of age groups, so it didn't feel too trendy. The food is great! The Italian Grinder was average, but the favorite thing at our table was the Buffalo Chicken Meatballs and the Pretzels and Fondue. You can't go wrong with either of those. The ONLY thing that was a take-away was the people providing the entertainment (singing, etc). They were absolutely horrible. Therefore, I would go for the food and the atmosphere..but definitely not the live music.

Unfortunately the food did not make up for the incredibly slow service. The service was very friendly and polite. Not sure what took so long to prepare our food, especially since the restaurant was not full. Maybe they were short staffed. Was disappointed that the food didn't live up to the awesome reviews that I read before I made the reservation. The fried chicken looked lovely, but was overcooked and dry. The gravy on the mashed potatoes left much to be desired. The cole slaw reminded me of KFC, not necessarily a bad thing.

The food was good. I had the fried chicken, it was okay. I think I could have made it better myself. The mashed potatoes tasted like the kind from the box and the gravy had no flavor. However, the biscuit was to die for and the coleslaw was great. The potato chips with dip and the preztels with fondu were amazing! I guess if I come back I'll just order a salad and spend my time eating the appetizers.

This location is not even a close 2nd to its Scottsdale 1st 1. Manager was dealing w a belligerent diner in front of entire line of us waiting while hostess sat & stared at line of ppl waiting for more than 15 min. She then asked to seat people behind us-when we had a res, I announced we had a res, the poor couple in front of us got the shaft & left-Mngr should have not let them leave-offered them an app or something, it was terrible svc. Hostess finally sat us, 1st app arrived cold & stail (pretzel balls) waitress did not want to get new batch, my husband asked nicely twice & she finally did, all prices are raised, overall food was not as it should be. I couldn't write a full review here but you can see my trip advisor to see the entire.

The staff was so willing to accommodate the noise level from the P-Diddy pool party by shutting the garage doors. I was disappointed to find the mayhem going on pool side with the loud and at times inappropriate music. I understand it was not expected and with the wonderful waitress (wish I knew her name she assisted the Rhode party) and the fantastic Manager it made the birthday celebration much better and enjoyable from as I had remembered the atmosphere to be from previous visits. The cab line was another story...but, Culinary Drop food was fantastic!!!! I welcome my next visit and I highly recommend the restaurant to all my friends!!! Thanks for making the dinner enjoyable dispite the outdoor craziness!!! Kind Regards.....MN
