I saw some mixed reviews, but our entire party of 4 thought Culina - Modern Italian was exceptional. We were early and had 2 drinks + an appetizer at the adjacent Four Seasons Hotel - $75!! That's L.A. for you... so Culina (or anything) seemed much more reasonable. The pasta is all homemade, so hard not to select it from the fairly comprehensive menu. I had Bugatoni with pancetta and my wife had very good Oxtail gnocci/gnudi. Kids menu is $13 and same as adult portions. Overall, great food and great wine list... you can find a moderate one for ~$50 after paging through several $100+ bottles.

Loved Culina, service was wonderful and they have a great selection of food. The black cod was superb as was the squid ink with lobster. The had gluten free bread on request and also GF pasta available. The vegan icecream was just fantastic! once again dinner at culina and the pounded veal chop, cod, pork and pasta were superb. i would suggest not dining at the location outside by the access door to burton way since it is noisy and chilly. other then that you will have a terrific meal in a lovely venue.

We have been to Culina 3 or 4 times now. Each time was a genuine pleasure. We were with another couple and we all felt that the food, service and atmosphere doesn't get better that this. True, it is an expensive restaurant. Therefore, we only go when it is a special occasion, such as a birthday. We give Culina our highest recommendation.

We started with a cocktail at the bar and then decided to sit indoors since the weather was chilly. But many people were eating outdoors on the lovely patio which had lots of heaters. My husband and I shared a spaghetti for an appetizer which was delicious . My friend and I both had the branzino which was outstanding and comparable to the fish we enjoyed in Italy last year. My husband had the jadorI chicken. It was terrific. Our friend had a pork chop that was amazing too. We ended the dinner with homemade gelato. Our waiter was excellent and we look forward to another fine dinner at Culina.

Culina never fails to delight us. The ambience, the service and most of all the food is unbeatable. While it is a great lunch spot for business or pleasure, in the evening the atmosphere is transformed into a sophisticated and alluring place. The management and wait staff is attentive, caring and welcoming. It is always a pleasure to dine at Culina!

What a delightful dinner! The food was most delicious - the best we've come across in a long time! Service was very attentive and we can actually converse in the quiet patio for a change! All 4 of us really enjoyed the food and ambiance. Like all other hotel restaurants, we had to pay $9 for valet parking (with valication). Even though we had a BBE 30% discount, definitely will go back soon.

have eaten at culina many times, but this was the best yet, in terms of food experience. interesting combinations and seasoning, italian inspired, but with other influences. waitress was very polite and solicitous but not knowledgeable about the wine list, and did not understand that offering a taste of a wine by the glass that i was unsure about, did not mean bringing 3oz and not offering to take it back when i said it was not very interesting. but overall a very, very good evening, right through dessert.

We had a wonderful dinner here the other night. Our server, do not remember his name, was so helpful with food and wine suggestions. We had a great meal. Something he did not suggest but we tried was the polenta wrapped prosciutto, just okay. Glad the rest of the meal was good. We noticed a gentleman sitting by himself near us at a really nice table and was visited by the manager of the place and welcomed him. I guess we did not rank a welcome at our table.

We have been to Culina many times. We love the friendly service and the attention paid to each patron. This time we brought an Italian friend visiting from Italy and he was very impressed. He thought the food and the choose of wines was outstanding. He told us at the end of the evening he would love to come back to Culina on his next trip her. (Which should be in Feb) Thanks for making our dinner a special dinning event.

This place has everything for a perfect evening. Our soup and salad were perfectly seasoned and presented. My husband's lasagna was standard fare but deliciously embellished with spices and vegetables and not too much sauce. My jidori chicken was tender and juicy, baked with lentils and kale. Desserts were tiramisu and sorbetti, of course delicious. The outdoor area is so romantic, with the low lights and flames for heat, that it is worth staying outdoors even if it is a little chilly. I love this restaurant.

What a beautiful place! The manager Jeff seated us & checked periodically to see if we were happy with our selections & experience. My appetizer was burrata & peaches & my entree was a pork chop & grilled peaches, all of which were done to perfection. My husband's lasagna was tasty & not too tomato-y & his salad appetizer was tangy and fresh. We were too full for dessert! Our waiter was very patient & helpful & when I couldn't decide on a martini he suggested the bartender make something with peaches & I was very satisfied with it. The outside area had a huge fireplace & comfortable chairs & I cannot say enough about Culina except that I can't wait to return.

Great spot, I've been here several times and have never had a bad meal. Service is always great! Sometimes the tables can be a little close and you can hear too much of a conversation! But it can also be VERY interesting because you NEVER KNOW who you may be sitting next too! I've booked dinners and lunches in the restaurant and hotel for several years. The wait and banquet staff is always on point!

The quality of food didn't match the price, pizza was cold and not good, I have gotten better pizzas at Papa Jones, my chops vegetable salad had only one vegetable in it avocado the rest was a very hard grain I left the whole thing on the plate, the kids lemonade was synthetic it defiantly was not made from fresh lemons. The plate with the stake had a blue cheese on it mixed with mushrooms, you couldn't tell what it was till you tested and than for people who don't like the flavor of it, like me, I had to get a napkin to spit it out. After receiving $400 bill for the dinner I could think of many ways I could of spend these much money on more enjoyable experience.

Beautiful and grand entrance! We were greated by friendly and accomodating staff. For entree we had the mixed seafood plata. Oysters were fresh and enjoyable, however I didn't understand the sauses. They did not that nice at all with the seafood. For main I had the red snapper. Fish was dry and the skin was soggy. It would have been much more enjoyable with crispy skin. The accompaniment of the vegetables was nice. The deep fried eggplant however make the dish a little heavy. The side of Brussel sprouts was disappointing. The meat that was served with it was not needed and if anything overwhelmed the dish. Service was five star! Great table service and a very welcoming team! I was expecting finer dining however the food was very average.
