Culina, from the Latin word for "kitchen" showcases the intersection of traditional and modern Italian cuisine with a menu guided by exceptional ingredients. Guests can linger over small plates and wine or settle in for a night of superior dining in the garden. The menu features Los Angeles' only crudo bar with the finest selections of hand prepared raw seafood, as well as homemade pastas, pizzas, the freshest Burrata and salami, and authentic entrees. Our wine program offers approximately 200 wines, most available by carafe, from Italy and the rest of the world, with a range of unique aperitifs and cocktails.   • "The patio is beautiful and comfortable, the service excellent. Bread is delicious, and we got an extra wrapped biscotti to take home. Felt pampered and satisfied! I had a red snapper with roasted vegetables, the sauce was a bit salty but otherwise the fish was perfect. Desserts were to die for, especially the gelatos."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Culina! We had the TravelZoo voucher for the 5 course menu, which was outstanding! We had reservatoins and they did take a bit longer to sit us, but they were very nice about it and served our prosecco while we waited without us even asking. Also, our waiter was amazing and offered us the wine pairings with his compliments! Very professional service, delicious food and a great ambiance! This was our first year anniversary and they made it very special for us!"

  • "teenagers at reception desk insanely incompetent! made us wait one hour inspite of opentable res sat night 7/19. I checked in repeatedly with my name. They claimed they called it, and even texted me when I was just a few feet away at the bar. No one offered me any token of awareness how stupid this was. Bet 8 and 9 pm i walked over to the desk 4 times!and spoke to everyone there, adults as well as young people."

  • "Culina is a first class restaurant. We elected to be seated in the outdoor patio. It is beautiful setting with lots of natural vegetation. only drawback is occasional noise from sports cars on the street. (our table was closest to the street). Service and cuisine reflect its location in the 5 star Four Seasons hotel. Salmon and chicken dishes were wonderful. Vegetarians might have a limited selection. The vegetarian in our party had pizza and it was ok. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations and accommodated special requests. Would go back in a heartbeat."

  • "We chose Culina as the restaurant for us to celebrate our 43rd anniversary at. This happened to fall during Dine L.A. week. They offered a fixed price menu for $45 per person. It included an appetizer, main course and dessert. We ordered from that menu but added a burrata cheese and heirloom tomato appetizer. It was fantastic! We had smoked salmon appetizer, my husband had the pork duo and I ordered the NY steak. For dessert we had chocolate gelato sandwich, decorated plates for our anniversary. Everything was delicious. Culina is in the Four Seasons Hotel on Doheny in Beverly Hills. They have a beautiful patio for outdoor dining."

  • "The food was delicious! Five of us ordered a bunch of different dishes and shared them all! Service was very slow at first, but when we alerted the head waiter of the delay, he kicked it into gear and we received great service the rest of the meal. They were very accommodating, and even comped desserts and a couple of side dishes for us. We'll definitely come back!"

  • "I really love this restaurant. Service is spot on and the food is delicious. We had a multi course dinner and it did not disappoint. The ahi crudo was a nice size and very good. The kale salad with artichoke and crispy prociutto was fresh. The short rib and scallop entrees were juicy and delicious. The desserts, zeppole and panino dolce, were also really tasty. However, the one dish that this restaurant does better than others is pasta. Each time and with different styles of their hand made pasta, I am always left wanting more. This time was a simple rigatoni and fennel sausage pasta, and it was perfectly al dente and absolutely delicious! This is a pricey restaurant in the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel, but it's worth the splurge"

  • "The menu features lots of tantalizing twists on conventional entrees so that even those who are counting calories or who have food restrictions can enjoy something unique and delicious - for example, a variation on Eggs Benedict that substitutes a hearty slab of tomato instead of bacon, with a fresh herbal drizzle on top instead of hollandaise. The setting is cushy and upscale without being stuffy, and not too noisy to enjoy a conversation. You can be dressed up or casual and will be equally comfortable. There are semi-private alcoves for small parties. The large patio is perfect for brunch. Parking is a bit pricey - $9 with validation."

  • "They call it 'modern Italian food' in the restaurant description but 'delicious Italian food' would do. The outdoor patio is one of the prettiest in LA. Also the management is very attentive, they're trying really hard to make Culina a destination restaurant and not just a hotel restaurant and they'e succeeding. We've been there twice and recommended it to many friends. One word of warning, there's a dress code - no shorts for men."

  • "Culina, happily enough, still does the original brunch that has become a favorite at the Four Seasons. It's every dish you can imagine at a fine buffet....always done nicely. One point however, it is not inexpensive. So when the bill arrives it's high. What gets me though is 'it's a buffet.' You serve yourself. Yet they suggest (calculate) a 15% or 20% gratuity. Excuse me? Since when does one tip 15-20% and serve yourself. It's a bit obnoxious. It may be automated at Culina for regular meal service ....but should not extend to the buffet. It made the host uncomfortable."

We shared the chocolate dessert that also was quite good. The wines we had also were a delight. It was our first time tasting the Lail Sauvignon Blanc - amazing - and then the B trio (a little Italian flight). Exceptional service from both the waiter and the sommelier. "

He helped us pick a great wine to celebrate our occasion. The meal was creative. The salad, the appetizer, especially the pork belly was fantastic. The portions were all adequate size. The ambiance was classy yet relaxed and private without being stuffy or noisy. We have eaten in many great restaurants from Europe, Far East and the United States. Culina's food was right in par with our finest eating experience. We enjoyed the meal and the service very much and look forward to coming back. Seem like a well kept LA Secret.... "

  • "Trying to avoid the chaos of Mothers Day decided to do dinner here. For the price and location I feel the food could have been better. The starters were really mediocre. The olives tasted bland and out of a can. The carpaccio was too thin and smothered with garlic. Never had it like that nor would I care to eat it like that again. The Branzino was very good had a nice subtle lemon caper sauce. The lamb ragu pasta had no robust flavor tasted more like beef. The service was good and the waiters were attentive. A few in our party that needed changes due to dietary issues and they were very helpful making menu changes. We brought wine and corkage was a whopping $25.00 per bottle. Service great but food needs to be worthy of price. "

  • "Culina is not a cheap place, but unlike some places of equal price points I have dined, it feels worth every penny. I had the lamb, and it was moist and succulent, the fresh pasta a wonderful complement. For dessert, I asked my lovely server to bring me the best thing on the menu, and she did not disappoint. Salted caramel and vanilla bean gelatos with caramelized bananas and housemade chocolate pizzele. Incredible, & all served by folks who seem to value each diner as if they were the Queen of England. From the host, to the server, to even the gentleman busing tables, I was always asked if there was anything to make my meal more enjoyable. I will return whenever travel takes me back to Beverly Hills"

  • "Food was tasty, including the salads we started with and the entrees. We ordered the ravioli and the Margherita pizza as we're vegetarian. The seating was comfortable but we had to ask for a different table since the table we were seated at was in the middle of the dining area and next to a larger table with about 8 people talking loudly. We enjoyed the booth we were moved to until a another party arrived and sat in front of us. They weren't loud, but one of the elder patrons was trying to use her iPhone with the reading light and left it while she talked to her friend. She kept waving the phone with the light in our eyes which was annoying. After five or ten minutes, I had to get up and ask her to turn it off."
