I would tell anyone to go experience dinner at this restaurant when they visit Asheville.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMItalian...sort of.Don't go expecting there will be many different pastas on the menu like most italian restaurants. Instead, it is modern Italian cuisine with some unexpected combinations. The mussels appetizer and quail were especially good. They offered a small side dish of polenta with a brown butter drizzle...heavenly and rich...good for sharing. Cocktails were great...they came with a single gigantic clear ice cube! I kind of wish there was bread to sop up the incredible sauce from the steamed mussels. (BTW, it a large enough portion to serve as an entree. Or for two or more to share as an appetizer.) We will go back for sure!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreatGreat place to have a nice, well put together dinner. Food was wonderful, staff was friendly. Only complaint, little pricey to go back as often as I would like. Will definitely be back for round two sometime in the future.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMPolished dinning and servicePerfect sitting or my Dad's 81st birthday. The service, food and atmosphere were all eloquent and polished. It is an intimate setting with enough space between tables not to be crowded and provide privacy. The service and food were way above normal. Highly recommended for all types of occasions.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat every time...I've been to cucina 24 more times than I could count over the past two years. My only regret is that I didn't give it a chance sooner. The food is creative...always executed on point...and always delicious. We usually get a variety of small plates, drinks, and dessert. I also appreciate the details. The drinks from the bar are handcrafted and original. Also, sometimes great restaurants drop the ball when it comes to dessert, but not the case here. Not to mention, the service is always on point. I cannot say enough good thing about this place. It's a date night regular for us.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was amazing. They quitFood was amazing. Attentive, friendly, helpful servers in a modern setting. Only distraction is cramped space in certain areas of the restaurant necessitated by the site configuration. Portions are satisfying to me but could be seen as meager by some.

Local ingredients with unusual presentation and combinations equals an unforgettable meals. Roasted bone marrow is a standout, as well as anything they do with white sardines, pork, and/or prosciutto. Superior wine list and impeccable service, too.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a business dinner at CucinaHad a business dinner at Cucina 24 with 8 diners. Food, and service were great. Three of us had the carbonara, might have been the best I've eaten. A couple of people thought the portion was too small, I thought it was right-sized, in other words, not too big.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMMoved into myAVL top 5Wonderful meal with friends.

Our second time dining here and it exceeded our expectations.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is one of the most engagingThis is one of the most engaging menus I have run across in a long time. Small plates and desserts in particular were remarkably creative: inventive food, beautifully presented. Service was knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. A great feature for foodies -- we were invited to taste an unknown wine before making our decisions! All in all, a memorable evening. We will be back.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful eveningCucina 24 provided the perfect start to a delectable evening. With tickets to the symphony, we had early reservations, but by the time our entree was served, the restaurant appeared to be full. Although not quiet, the noise level was low enough to comfortably have private conversation. The freshness of the food was clearly evident. The flavors were light and delightful. Service was perfect: welcoming, attentive to our needs without hovering. Sharing was not a problem so we could expand our experience. The Italian wine we selected was a perfect pairing for our Italian sea bass and scallops. We are in Asheville at least three to four times a year and will definitely be visiting again!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFoodie utopiaWe brought out of town friends here on a Friday night. They expect amazing things from Asheville restaurants, and Cucina did not disappoint! The four of us had salads, the chicken liver fois gras appetizer (possibly the BEST appetizer I've ever had) chicken specials, pork chop dinner and a pizza. While every dish was outstanding, the guys were trying to figure out how to copy the pork chops at home. Good luck with that. We've been here many times, and always loved the food and ambiance, and we will certainly we back.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a GREAT experienceWe had a GREAT experience at Cucina 24. Attentive servers. Configuration of restaurant creates some tight spaces but decor is pleasantly modern. Highly recommend.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAsheville for one night: go hereIf we're going to be in Asheville for only one night, this is where we go to dinner. If we're in Asheville for 2 nights we go here 1 night, and Table the next...that's how good Cucina 24 is.3/2/2013 12:00:00 AMThe portions are entirelyThe portions are entirely too small for the price point.2/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWine, cheese and radish - oh my!WOW! What a fantastic find! We enjoyed dinner at Cucina 24 and will say this restaurant hits every mark. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine, the UGA caviar, cheese board and radish plate. The cheese board made our night (maybe even our entire trip to Asheville)! We were presented with 3 lovely cheese which, to our surprise, were accompanied by hazelnuts, pistachios, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds, freshly sliced apples and little crispy rye toasts. The radish plate was billed as “radish, house butter and sea salt.” A moderate description so we figured, what’s the worst that can happen? Holy cow! The radish plate was divine! Who knew you could make a meal off cheese and radish? We will return any and every trip to Asheville.12/30/2012 12:00:00 AM
