We were very warmly welcomed when we walked in and my coat taken immediately. The service was amazing - very attentive and the food and drinks were delivered very quickly. The atmosphere was very romantic. There was a piano player there who played beautiful music during our meal. They brought out a very yummy piece of cake for my boyfriends birthday and the piano player even played happy birthday. The Calamari and a Beet Salad that were excellent. My wife had the duck and I had the steak. Not always a red meat fan, but this was cooked to a perfect medium, and was better than most high end steak houses I have tried. Supurb. The duck was smokey and prfect as well. Presentations and vegatables were wonderfull and flavourful as well. Food was great, wine list was excellent, and the service was very attentive. We will definitely be returning soon and will obviously recommend Cucci's to all our friends.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMNot DisappointedMy wife and I had a weekend without kids so we splurged on ourselves and enjoyed an early evening at Cucci. the food was delicious we had 2 of the specials which were the 12oz Veal and the Grilled Perch. Both were good portions and well prepared. For Apps we had the Pear salad and Grilled Calamari. Some of the combinations were surprisingly refreshing. The wine and food menu offered several alternatives. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. We even had entertainment on that Saturday evening (light signing and piano playing - nothing disruptive).
Service was timely and thoughtful. For example, we were given cushions and blankets so we could enjoy our pre-dinner drink outdoors. Overall, a pleasurable experience. Service was outstanding, food was nicely prepared and presented. The live piano player in the background was a nice touch. We had booked a reservation online and noted it was our 30th anniversary. To our surprise (and delight) after we were seated two glasses of champagne, with a floating raspberry arrived along with anniversary greeting from our waitress.
