Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar - Atlantic City
We went for my husband's birthdayWe went for my husband's birthday and we totally enjoyed ourselves. From the ambience to the food was great. Our waitress was great as well. It felt like we step into Cuba for a second. I would totally recommend this place.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMoutstanding food & wait staffLove Cuban food - this is the best! Wonderful atmosphere. Wait staff is terriffic. My Husband and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary and his birthday here on 5/18/13. We make the trip to Atlantic City at least twice a year and usually stay at the Tropicana. We weren't able to do so this year but made the drive to eat at Cuba Libre anyway.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst time there we were impressedFirst time there we were impressed Food was very good liked the idea you could get a small tasting of 15 things to get you aquainted with the menu for next time5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic foodMy mother is one of the fussiest eaters I know. She can find fault with almost any food venue. But this is the one restaurant she raves about to all her friends. And she is right. Everything we chose was perfect. Even the pitcher of Mango Mojotis was a real treat. Last year I brought my Mom here for Mother's Day. This year we came back with my sister and my niece. And they had a great meal also.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMlove itMy husband and I eat here everytime we visit AC. Great good!5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreatWent 2 times during our stay.... Excellent staff, food and atmosphere5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMA great dining expirienceThe food was great, I recommend the taste of Cuba, a very delightful way to taste a little bit of everything the restaurant has to offer. Tasting size servings from each course, Awesome! The staff is friendly and the service was wonderful. We really enjoyed dining at Cuba Libre. If you like Mojitos, probably the best I've had.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AM15 item tasting menu was outstandin15 item tasting menu was outstanding. House caipirinha had a unique spice element to it.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA+ for Drinks, B for FoodWe were in town for a show at Boardwalk Hall and since Cuba Libre is only about a 5-minute walk away we decided on dinner there first. We started with the house salad - the dressing was super tasty, and the avocado in it was perfectly ripe. The yucca is a nice touch too that you really don't get anywhere else. I asked for my Primo Mojito not too sweet and it was just right. My husband's dinner was excellent - one of the new chicken dishes on the menu - but unfortunately my dinner was just so-so. I had the Mango Shrimp and for $24 I expected more than 5 shrimp and 2 pieces of bok choy, and the shrimp were quite overcooked. I'd still go back - our waitress was great and I like the ambiance - but next time I'll stick to the chicken dishes.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were there this past FridayWe were there this past Friday 4/26/2013. The whole staff is friendly and smiling, service is great. The food is very delicious and not disappointed at all. We had the Vaca Frita and the Ropa Vieja and ate the whole plate. Prices are reasonable for the size of servings you receive.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food! Not so great service.Food was unbelievable! Even the bread that they served was fantastic with flavored butter. Drinks were great and strong, not too pricey for AC. Service could of been better! They kind of Kicked us out because they were transferring it into a club after our meal. Should of told us that when we made a late reservation. Workers were cleaning around us and storing chairs around us when we were still eating. Thought it was a little rude that the waitress opened the check holder (cigar box) to look a the tip in front of us ( Tipped 20%). Just not good server etiquette.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good food and anotherVery good food and another plus for accepting The Dining Out Card!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGREAT PLACEWe had the earliest reservation time for dinner, at 4pm when dinner just started, so when we sat down we were the only ones in the resturant. we had been to this Cuba Libre a few times before but just not recently and this visit everything was perfect. i cannot explain how great the food tasted. also the sevice was perfect as well. i cannot wait to go back there and will not wait as long between visits.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good!Went for our anniversary and had a 7:30pm reservation. Service was prompt and our server was very helpful. He had a good knowledge of the menu and was able to answer the questions we had. We had the Empanadas and a couple drinks before dinner. My wife had Cosmos and I had the Paradise Punch and a Havana Iced Tea. Good stuff! For dinner I had Vaca Frita which is skirt steak with garlic and lime with sides of rice and beans. The meat was flavorful but a little tough. My wife had Mango BBQ Shrimp and she said it was very good. I tried it and liked it. The waiter offered dessert but we declined, however I did sample a sipping rum from their huge selection! Pyrat XO Reserve. Will definitely go back.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful spotFirst time here and really enjoyed myself. The food was so delicious, they had a great menu and plenty to choose from.

It was really cool!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMRestaurant was awesome securityRestaurant was awesome security for after hours bar/ club was horrible rude n insulting . They acted like we were doing them a favor going there. Shaft a shame because restaurant was amazing food , service n atmosphere were great3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat drinks, great food,Great drinks, great food, great theme. The drinks are all made with fresh ingredients and it makes all the difference in the world! Food is awesome, the Vaca Frita is amazing!! The churrasco was melt in your mouth perfect! We went with our two older children, but I think little ones (under 12 or so) wouldn't appreciate it as much and might get restless in the busy restaurant. Its a lively, fun spot that should definitely be checked out by anyone looking to dine in the neighborhood.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMI loved this place!!! TheI loved this place!!! The food was delicious and the after hours dancing was incredible as well. The only thing I didnt like was the spacing between the tables. You could basically reach out and touch the person seating next to you as well as hear their conversation. But dont let that keep you away, this place is a must if your in Atlantic City.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I made a reservationMy wife and I made a reservation even though it was a relatively quiet Tuesday. Even though we arrived a few minutes early we were greeted with a smile by the Hostess and promptly escorted to our table. Our waiter, Eddie arrived shortly thereafter, greeted us and asked if we've ever been to Cuba Libre before, which we had. My wife and I had already made up our minds that we would each have the "15 Tastes of Cuba" meal. As the name describes this is a appetizer to dessert feast of small plates or "tapas" comprised of menu items. Some of the plates are periodically substituted so the likelihood of two presentations over time being the same is small. If you've never visited this restaurant order the 15 Tastes, it is sublime!3/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
