The tostones rellenos and ropa vieja are really good. This is one of our favorite places to bring out of town visitors. None of them have ever been disappointed in their meal. Authentic Cuban cuisine(love the Lechon Asado & Vaca Frita), portions are filling (rarely have room for dessert!), the cocktails are powerful (try the unlimited cocktail brunch), music is fun. Lunch and early dinner (pre-7pm) are kid-friendly. They are well-reviewed, so dinner reservations are recommended, especially for groups. The selection is plentiful, the portions are large, and the food is delicious. We tried the oxtails, braised pork, black beans and rice, plantains - we couldn't go wrong with anything. This is a real, down home, West Village, neighborhood restaurant.
