Morning breakfast buffet in the Crystal Room was wonderful including the food and selection. Our night dining experience was great also however the lighting was pretty dim which made it hard to view the menus. The lights on the table were just for looks as we were told they didn't have candles to put in them...uhm!!!! Food was good but not spectacular, at least the Salmon. My Salmon was dry and had no seasoning on it other then perhaps salt. Some sauce of some type would've been great to serve with it as it would've enhanced the flavor of the fish and also would've made it moist.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful Evening!My daughter and I were guests at the resort and because my birthday was the day before, and I thought this might be a nice way to celebrate. My daughter started with the lobster salad, which was delicious, and I had a green salad with just the right amount of dressing. I ordered the venison, which was done perfectly. Venison is my very favorite, and this was the best I had ever eaten. My daughter ordered the duck and thought it was excellent, as well. Although we don't usually order dessert, we selected the chocolate cake with a cappuccino ice cream to split -- It was unbelievably good! The wine was perfect with our food selections, too. The service was excellent, and we had a nice, quiet table. They were all spectacular, each one suited for different occasions. We ate at the Crystal room twice - once for breakfast and once for dinner. We enjoyed both - food and service was excellent, wait staff was friendly...would highly recommend to anyone and we will definitely go back again. Crystal room has an upscale decor and seems like a place for special "dress up" events, but even at breakfast their was a mix of clientel - from the couple enjoying a romantic meal to a group of ladies having a girls get together, to a young couple with their newborn.
