Crush Wine BarVery friendly staff from beginningVery friendly staff from beginning to end. I made a an online reservation and had no issues once at the door. The girl serving us was very friend and suggested good wine, we were lost in the myriad of choices.
Pork Chop with mashed potatoes and vegetables side was delicious!
Ambience was very nice, open space, not too loud and not too quiet. Perfect.
Pricey, but worth the dollar.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMA repeat favorite spotCrush is a definite favorite when visiting Toronto not only for its terrific wine list and flights but also a great menu and chef. I had a succulent pork chop, moist even at medium-well paired with a Riesling flight. The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Wine, but not PretentiousMy girlfriend and I had a wonderful dinner at Crush for her birthday. We had a show later in the evening, and the service was attentive to our needs and professional throughout. The food and wine were also excellent. The rib eye was perfect, and the selection of reds was wide, but not overwhelming.
This was our first time at Crush, and I expect to return on many occasions.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat optionA little pricey but lovely staff & delicious treats to accompany great wine5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMStones ThrowWe had VIP tickets to the Rolling Stones and hadn't realized that this included a hospitality suite with food and drinks. About the time we were sitting down at Crush we realized we needed to really move along so we didn't have time for a full dinner. We picked a beautiful Brunello from the wine list and our server helped us picked a bunch of small plates. Everything was delicious. The service was great - and we got to enjoy the hospitality suite and an awesome concert. I'll be back for the full dinner experience at Crush first chance I get. They earned it.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMVery nice wine bar - nice selectionCaitlin was our server and was delightful. We ordered a bunch of small plates to try a bunch of different things. Asparagus salad was amazing with the quail eggs. The charcuterie plate was very tasty - we ordered a single portion since we were ordering more things. We had a delicious Barolo that was amazing and it was a 2008! The goat cheese pierogies were good. The zucchini and leek fritters were GREAT!!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFab dinnerWent to Crush Wine Bar for dinner with my girlfriends.
It was FABULOUS!!!!!
One of the best dining experiences. I have already been sharing with friends and family.
Although I am not from Toronto, I will definitely make the drive back :)5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMNice Quiet dinnerGreat service! Food was good! will come back again!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial night...This is a lovely wine bar in the theatre district. Small food menu with a large wine list. And the wine list is the problem because you want to try multiple glasses of wine. This can lead to a very large bill, so restraint is necessary! I have found my new love...Sauternes!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and wine.Server was extremely friendly and attentive.Great dining experience, would definitely go again.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSpectacular ServiceThis was a great evening. The food and wine were spectacular however what really made the night was the server. She was knowledgable and was very much interested in making our dining experience the best it could be. She made great suggestions and was willing to let us try different wines before making a commitment.
It is a very attractive restaurant, we were surprised that it wasn't packed evening mid week.
Toronto is filled with great restaurants but this would be a place that shouldn't be missed.
The value for price is very high.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
