Crush - ChicoA Large ImprovementI dined at Crush roughly a year ago, and found it noisy, extremely hot in the dining area, and lackluster in service. A year later, and they've seemed to get a handle on things. The service was impeccable, friendly, and helpful. The climate-control seemed to be working, and was comfortable inside on a very warm day outside. The wine list had decent variety, if somewhat overpriced for the supermarket-caliber wines offered, and the food was superb. I had the swordfish and my date had a pasta dish with mussels; both were excellent, and the tiramisu dessert was fantastic.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat way to celebrateMy husband and I ate here for our 3rd anniversary and we had a wonderful dinner. We got the bruschetta for an appetizer and the bread was separate from the toppings, and the mozzarella was melted. I had the organic crusted chicken with the gnocci, and my husband had the special, steak, twice baked potato and a house salad. His steak was HUGE-14oz!. Everything was very tasty and full of flavor. The waiter was very helpful, he suggested a wine for me which was paired nicely with my chicken. Since they knew it was our anniversary, they gave us a brownie and ice cream dessert on the house! Even though it was in the 90's, I still should have brought a sweater because the AC was pretty chilly. I cannot wait to go back.5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMOur crush visitOverall a very good experience. Our talble was so loose we couldn't lean on it. We asked for another one but none was available. This took away from our dining experience and such an easy fix should never be overlooked. My mom and I had a leisurely Mother's Day dinner celebration on Sunday. Fabulous service, attention to detail, and, as always, great food. I am on a very restricted diet at the moment and the waiter gladly said they would substitute anything, cook with no oil or butter and allowed me to have a great meal. Choices were plenty, ranging from pasta to salads to fish or meat. We especially like to go on Tuesday nights when we can order from the special menu and have a large chunk of the price go to support the local Boys and Girls Club. The Easter Special was Prime Rib but went for the Rib-eye steak instead and she had the Crispy Chicken.
