A word from Crush - Seattle
Crush began as the dream of owners Nicole and Jason Wilson in 2003 when they set out to remodel and build an original 1903 Victorian house into a Modern American Restaurant that showcases the best in Jason's Cuisine and seasonal ingredients of the Northwest. Opening in 2005 CRUSH has quickly
…
become a destination for an unparalleled dining experience in Seattle. Jason's approach and inspiration to food has been noted as Modern American, with personal influences and French technique. Using the best ingredients, focusing on quality first, the seasons & relationships with the best producers and growers dictating the ingredients has been the philosophy to our cuisine. Jason was chosen by Food and Wine magazine in 2006 as a "Best New Chef", nominated in 2008 for the Best Chef Northwest by the James Beard Foundation among many other accolades. A similar approach to our extensive wine list has given Crush multiple years of national accolades from wine press.

I've been to Crush many times, and not once have I had a bad experience. The food is always exquisite, the wine list extensive, and the service/attention brings a smile to my face. I highly recommend Crush to everyone, and encourage you to try it out.

This was a great restaurant to try during Restaurant Week, at a prix fix $28 it opened the possibilty to try what is probably one of Seattle's best restaurants. They had their signature 48 hour beef rib on the menu, and the chef at Crush knows how to cook beef so it falls off the bone, and keeps every bit of enhanced beef flavor. This meat melts yet has the right amount of crispy edge, with horseradish, it is a meal that satisfies. The desserts were also stellar, my favorite was the lemon merangue that was a delectable tang popping flavor in full body sensation. Do not miss the dessert.

Excellent artistic food, wonderful taste, quiet atmosphere. A former house converted to a modern monocromatic environment. The beauty of the food adds the color. A perfect experience.

We went to Cruch for Restaurant Week--3 courses for $28, which was a steal!
Everything was delicious and surprising.. from the spring greens with pickled veges to the 48-hr braised short ribs (incredible!!!) to the lemon tart dessert. Portions weren't large, but the food was rich and filling, so it felt like plenty. The decor was minimalist to the max, which was fine. But the electronic ambient music was cold and annoying.

excellent food; wait staff appeared to be new - at least 3 did not know the wines, ingredients for dinner; or what table ordered which dishes and to whom to bring them to. Surprising since it has always ben professional- it might have been that it was Sunday eve of Easter Sunday. Otherwise- outstanding.

The restaurant seemed very overpriced with a feeling of little value. The wine list was unapproachable with not many medium range wines. We sat at the chef's counter. It was fun watching the kitchen staff cook our food. The waiter never really made a real connection. Very systematic in his approach and did not seem to really care except for his tip. Overall a disappointing dining experience.

Inventive and well executed menu. Always blown away by how well Chef Wilson can take me on a tour of flavors and textures not to mention beautiful presentations. It is one of our go to spots for "top chef" style dining.

We all felt the restaurant was overpriced
No reasonable wine by the bottle or glass.
That was difficult when having a large group.
Best for intimate dinners.
Ambiance seemed awkward and not proportionate to price of food and wine.
