A word from Crudo
Crudo is about not only for its unique and reasonably priced Italian cuisine, but for its wine list and exclusive atmosphere. Truly the upcoming Nolita's hidden gem, Crudo offers great music, authentic food, and a reliable and friendly staff.
Family and Friends owned, the menu features awesome Neapolitan "Sfizi" (the southern italian version of Tapas), artfully created by chef Fabio Potenza (trained at Denmark's three star Michelin restaurant, Noma's) . The original dishes are complimented by the freshly made white and red Sangrias and the Italian-twisted "sake" bar.

The tables at Crudo were so close together that we could barely get into our seats. Our chairs were pressed up against the chairs of the tables beside us and we has no room to move. Besides being overly crowded, there was only one waitress and one bus boy for the entire restaurant and the food was really inedible.

Simply our best experience ever in the mulberry/nolita area (we live 2 blocks from the place). This cute little restaurant has all the numbers to became a real local gem. Waiter was incredibly welcoming, we really felt like at home (this never happens in this area too near the "little Italy" tourist attraction) We had some mix delicious small plates to start and after, I tried the most fantastic vegetarian lasagna, made with pistachio ragout (surprisingly "meaty" and tasty), my girlfriend had some spaghetti with organic meatballs, after the waiter suggestion (simply soft, tasty and delicious...I had to steel a couple from her plate) 9pm a band started to play some Jazz by the window, we decided happily to remain for more wine. Great Plac
