And it better be considering a normal course for 2 people including a couple glasses of wine was $150. The servers are very good and attentive, however the hostess took forever greeting us and seating us because she was on the phone taking reservations! Honestly, if this is a 5 star restaurant, shouldn't someone else be taking reservations? We had been planning this Birthday dinner for a very long time, and when we arrived, we had to stand in line with 8 other people staring at the hostess during a 5 minute reservation conversation on the phone. Our server paid special attention to detail remembering we said we were celebrating our Anniversary. Our dessert came out with Happy Anniversary written on the plate in chocolate. My husband had the lamb shank and the meat was so tender it fell off the bone. I ordered king crab legs which were precut so that I did not have to do any work to enjoy it. The bread that was brought out in the beginning was fresh and delicious. Finally the dessert was a perfect compliment to a perfect meal. We could not have asked for better service or a more romantic atmosphere with the best view in the city.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMOn this evening we were aOn this evening we were a party of four celebrating our anniversaries. We were greeted, congratulated on the event thanks, and received a card at the table thanks to the note I added while making the reservation on Open Table. Yes, they really read those things! We were a table of red meat eaters; elk, beef and duck. The preparations were as ordered; medium rare, medium and the suggested add on of fois gras enhanced to the entree without overwhelming it. We enjoyed an updated French 75 from the bar, a nice mid range pinot noir from the wine list and table side cafe diablo. The food was again, AMAZING, the service was prompt and respectful yet personable and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our celebration one we'll remember for years and years.
