"Always a joy to go to the Crown. The service was fast and she came by often enough that you are not bothered. The food was good and menu was from beef to fish to chicken and the salad was ok. I had requested seating in a booth and when I arrived they went to put us at a table. When the question arose on the booth they quickly moved us to a booth. Really can't waite for the next visit. I would rather be taken to the seating I requested rather than half to discuss my concerns on the mix up. They should discuss that when they call for payment if they are reading the reservation . All in all a very good time."

"We have a nine-year-old girl and a fifteen-year-old boy. We all enjoyed The Wizard of Oz. The surroundings are simply beautiful. The service was excellent. The meal was high quality. The performances were professional and entertaining. And not expensive. Clearly, the staff desires to make this experience fun and memorable. We travelled from Lawrence and it was worth the trip."

"Parts were excellent. Other parts, like the rock-hop, went on far too long! The accompaniment was too loud on "Over the Rainbow." Dorothy could hardly be heard. Scenery changes went well. Using the upper side window for "Knock, bell out of order," was an excellent choice. Toto seemed to know when to be "onstage" and when to remain unnoticed. I had season tickets many years when and even after Ted Morris was there, but now?"

"The quality of performance was excellent. The meal was good. There are not any vegetarian choices. Costumes, set design and special effects for "The Wizard of Oz" were state of the art. Adult actors were very good and children actors were good. The live orchestra gave the whole production a touch of class."

"I came all the way from from FL for the week end w/my 9 yr old grandson. Watching a performance of the Wizard of OZ in a "real" dinner theatre was a special treat for him. He ABSOLUTELY LOVED it all --the food, the ambiance, the play...everything! He enjoyed chatting w/our server Shannon who is also an actor. Thanks so much for helping me provide Connor w/an experience he will always remember. I will too will cherish forever the memory of our special night together. Will definitely try to do this again!!!!!"

"We absolutely enjoyed our evening at Crown Uptown! The service was wonderful. From check-in to food service, everyone was very friendly and worked to make sure we had an enjoyable evening. The show was phenomenal as well! The performance was notably improved over past productions. We will definitely purchase tickets for future productions! Well done, Crown Uptown, so glad you're back and better than ever!"

"First time going.. food was very poor for the price i paid i could have better at a drive thru. Play was amazing. Seating was very uncomfortable .. bar drinks were poor. I would only return for the play. My server was very friendly though she made it tolerable,but way overpriced."

"This was my second return to The Dinner Theater. My first experience was very pleasant and romantic. The food was okay but not great. My experience on the 28th was one of the most disappointing times I have had. The food was not satisfying. I couldn't believe a restaurant would serve mac and cheese for one of their main courses. Fried chicken, a small piece of fish and not sure what the other course was. For as much as I spent this evening $150 dollars plus, I would think the person(s) preparing this meal could have come up with something better. The service was excellent and the play very good. I am very disappointed :("
