I recommend the Stardust tea which happens to be the favorite blend, the tea smells amazing and it sparkles in the cup! My mom and I enjoyed ourselves while talking with the owner and learning more about how she started her business. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. I took my birthday off to check out Tea Stop...since it was a Monday and my reservation was at 11 right when it opened, the place was not busy and was super quiet. But it was such a darling tea place, I can't wait to go again! I loved all the food...though I was confused because I thought we got to pick our sandwiches. But everything was delicious, we ate everything. The waitress didn't really seem to understand the menu or the process either. So that was concerning but maybe she was just new. The Alice tea is amazing! Because of the champagne, you taste grapes...sooo tasty. The couple who owns it are quirky and very sweet. The rest of the staff are also very friendly.
The food here is so delicious! Especially the desserts! The location was kind of different since it's a European themed tea stop not japanese. I loved the decor. We had a reservation right when they opened so it seemed as if they were stil setting. I can kind of understand too since they just moved from another location. Overall it was a good experience, i would recommend it to anyone going to SF or SF. If I loved there, i would go there atleast once a month to meet with my friends and chit chat and have a light lunch with desserts. I purchased my mother 2 oz of tea and she loves them. But I admit, we went frequently to the old location at Ghiradelli square because of the ambiance! The food and tea is outstanding...but the new location is a bit of a let-down.
