"Went with my mom to have tea. It was nice. Service was excellent. Food was okay, but you're really going for the novelty of it and not so much the food. Food was really slow in coming, actually inexcusably slow given the fact that you don't actually choose what you get when you order tea for two (which is what most people get) and no food is actually cooked. All in all, it was a decent experience. I might try another tea room before going to this place again. Not a bad experience; just not great enough to make me rule out all other SF tea rooms."

"Amazing! We had a great time and I don't think any other tea house will be able to top such an experience. The staff was attentive, they were flexible with the reservation. (we were half an hour early and they were willing to seat us anyway) and the food was excellent."

"Crown and Crumpet is a delightful place for an afternoon tea. My two girlfriends and I have now been here three times and it is a very comfortable place to eat and enjoy your friends.

Sometimes service is a tad slow but the wait staff is always friendly."

"It was my 42nd bday and I'm a Diva already but they spoiled us and treated us like royalty ! They blew bubbles while they sang Happy Birthday out of mini champage bottles! Its lik e doll house but not childish at all!Men were there with their families as well! "What a wonderful experience! We had the tea for three and the nursery tea for two. We loved the service and the cute decor. Had a the Alice tea it was our favorite! If we come back to San Francisco again I would love to go again for afternoon snacks!!"
