If you decide to have on of the special cocktails that come with a souvenir glass and are too shy to ask the price (they are not listed on the drink list) - try not to be shocked when your bill comes...the Sinful Sangria was $14! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend Crossroads House of Blues."

  • "For some reason we were put right by the stage/singer. There were very loud speakers, and it was quite annoying the entire dinner. I have infant twins, and have no clue why we would be put right by loud speakers. They should have put a group of people that were going to the concert later. Obviously, we were only there for dinner. I know it is the House of Blues, I just did not think I would be sitting up front so close. The waiter was nice and did his job by trying to upsell, and be informative about the new menu. I appreciate that. This is great for a younger crowd, party crowd, etc. Not ideal for family setting or people trying to enjoy their dinner for a weekend date night. Thanks"

  • "We have come here since they opened (20 years?) but not in the past couple of years. Our service was very slow but we were in no hurry and the waitress was nice and cheerful. My wife and I each ordered 2 domestic 12 oz. draft beers which normally cost $4.00 to $4.50 each in this area. There were no prices offered or on the menu. All meals we "a la carte" which is rather unusual in a very casual bar & restaurant. To put it simply - we never expected to pay almost $100.00 for chicken and meatloaf dinners in a casual venue with no entertainment, especially when we came in early at Happy Hour. One of us had a $3.99 salad and we split a $6.00 dessert. NO appetizers! When we got or bill, we were shocked - the draft beers were $7.00 each!"

The maplewood cornbread was unavailable at 7 in the evening but the very efficient manager came up with a good substitute which was delicious. The waitress Nicole was excellent she was very pleasant and good at her job. The ribs which I shared with my friend were good but nothing special."

  • "Surprised at how good the food was and how attentive the service was. Usually when a restaurant has such a strong theme, the food can get lost in the theming of the restaurant. But not the House of Blues. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable; the food was great. We lucked into the weekly special of prime rib (but one, 2nd is a penny). And it was delicious as were the accompanying side dishes. All four of the diners had the special, and no one was disappointed. For sure, would go back if we're in the area."

  • "Hob had great service. When the manager forgot to bring my dressing she bought us a dessert. Which was very nice. Our waitress was very good even though she was busy. They could do away with the tables for two right along side the Banister since those tables are so small. Food was good. The sides that my bf got with the meat loaf were better then thee actual meat loaf. My Cobb salad was good. I don't think we'd eat there again though."

  • "Went for the Chase Rice concert. The HOB food was average at best. I had the ribs & the flavor was good but there were 1" long pieces of cartilage in every bite. The fries were great though. My wife had a chicken sandwich. In all honesty, McDonald's has a far superior chicken sandwich. She literally ate 2 bites. Her sweet potato fries were fantastic. The wait staff & the managers were very friendly & very accommodating. They went out of their way to make it a nice experience."

  • "The food was above average but I would not say it was great. However, we ate in the bar area and the atmosphere and the band made the visit excellent. I would recommend going when there is a band. We had our 4 year old with us; the band was family friendly and our daughter enjoyed the night as much as we did. The band was Bullfrog and I recommend going when they are playing."

My picky son enjoyed his pepperoni pizza, and the BBQ sliders were melt in your mouth tender. If you are attending a show at the HOB, eating here is a definite no-brainer. Will be eating here again."

  • "This was my second visit this location and it was as great as the first. The waiter we had previously had moved out of state But we were not concerned as they have great staff here. I was treating my family and it was their first visit and they were not disappointed. We started with great drinks and appetizers to share and the entrees were wonderful, we skipped dessert but took home our glassware as gifts, what a great night. I would recommend this place for anyone, and I will be returning in the summer when they have live music outside dining."

  • "Our family of 4 went here for dinner. We had reservations for 7 pm but arrived at 6 pm because we had finished our shopping at Barefoot Landing. We would have fully understood if they could not seat us then, but they did seat us. Our server was Nicole and she was incredible. She knew the menu, answered our questions, and was just a pleasure. She was efficient, yet took time talking to us about all the House of Blues has to offer. The place is so much fun and our 17 and 20-year-old sons loved the decor and atmosphere. We shared cornbread, a wedge salad, key lime pie and bread pudding. We had a burger, spicy chicken pasta, jambalaya and bacon-wrapped meatloaf. All the food was delicious and had we had more time, would have returned."

  • "we were skeptical at first because of a few reviews we had seen, We are glad we tried it anyway. First we were there when a concert was going to be at 8:30 and we had reservations for 6pm. We entered and were set right down with no delay. We then were greeted by our waitress who was very personable and friendly. We had the Portabella Mushroom Sliders that were great. My wife then ordered Chef Aaron's signature dish (The Pasta with Redwine sauce with ground veal and pork sausage it was 5 star, I had the Spicy Chicken and pasta which was also 5 Star, The meal was the best that we have had out in Myrtle or anywhere in over a year. We have already posted on facebook how great our meal and experience was. Great Job HOB for a wonderful time."

  • "There are a lot of HOB's, and I don't know why the name was changed o "Crossroads." But we can say that since they went on Open Table in Myrtle Beach you can get in when you want and the place has class. I had to send a wine back (yes I order wine at HOB; doesn't everybody?). The corrective action was prompt, no hassle...better service than at more upscale places we frequent. And standards like pulled pork, jambalaya, sweet potato fries ...all are still what one looks for at HOB."
