- Very DisappointedPatriceandBobDined on 8/23/2014Having dined here in the past, we looked forward to an enjoyable dinner prior to a show at the Alabama Theater. Three in our party ordered the Shrimp and Grits, which featured 5 rather small shrimp drowning in a sauce over a grit cake. This recipe in the past was great, but those of us who ate it were very disappointed and ready for dinner shortly after leaving the restaurant. Another party member had a small pizza (now only offered on the Kids Menu), which was mediocre at best. In addition, since two of our party members were vegetarian, the menu choices for vegetarian entrees was extremely limited. Overall, we were very disappointed and will be dining elsewhere when we are in the area.
- awesomeOpenTable Diner Since 2014Dined on 8/19/2014Shrimp and grits pancake excellent. Our waitress Heather is at the top of her game!! Will return soon.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.

- Satisfied, but ...mediatrekkerVIPDined on 8/18/2014Overall, a good meal with a notable exception. The cornbread, voodoo shrimp, their take on shrimp and grits, and lobster 'n Mac earn high praise. Only had five draft beers to choose from, but had several specialty drinks available. Service was very attentive. Downside was the dishes with chicken in them, while prepared well, all featured fairly tough chicken. One dish we sent back and the manager came over, apologized, cooked another piece of chicken and took it off our bill. I ordered a salad that never appeared, but was not on our bill. The ambience was good with Blues, as expected, playing at a nice level in the background. Go, but avoid the chicken.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Awful Pulled Pork SandwichJennyBennyDined on 8/13/2014I was very excited to dine at the house of blues in myrtle beach after hearing Aaron Sanchez created the menu. I was sadly disappointed when I recieved my meal. We ordered an appetizer which was the cornbread which was okay it wasn't anything special. Then for dinner I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which came with a side if coleslaw and fries. The pulled pork tasted so old and dry it wasn't even appetizing. As well as the lack of mayo in the coleslaw and old French fries. Although I did order a meal that was on the cheaper side so not sure if there more popular southern dishes are better but I definitely won't be coming back to find out.Special Features:
- MB vacationBP73Dined on 8/11/2014Food was good with unique menu Good service, but pushy Music was way too loud Heavy pricingSpecial Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Loved it!Knowsgoodfood1Dined on 8/5/2014So hard to find a good restaurant down here and Crossroads was great! The food delicious! The ambience was perfect! Service was the best I have had in years. So attentive to my daughters seafood allergy-even the chef came out! We will be back a lot during our vaca and for years to come!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Great Resturant and BarLUKEDined on 8/3/2014Food was worth great and prices were normal. Great place to hang out with your family or friends. Outside music and bar is fantastic.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- completely disappointedJohnDined on 7/24/2014we had high hopes for this restaurant since Aaron Sanchez put his name to the place. The only good thing was the appetizer we ate. It took too long to be greeted by wait staff, our dinner order was mixed up with another table, the dinner took way too long...over half an hour to receive our food. Waitress did not care to check on us. The place was not very busy, but everything seemed so slow. The food was undercooked, the lobster mac and cheez had to go back to be properly cooked. we received a salad we didn't order and were told it would be taken off the bill along with the lobster dish, but instead the bill had double charge for lobster dish and charge for salad...had to send the check back to be fixed. HORRIBLE
- Awkward hurried servicedreamsofdining50Dined on 7/20/2014The food at this mid to high priced restaurant was very good. I would have enjoyed it if I'd had time to. They had no sense of pace or timing. Bar drinks are slow to come even though the bar was not busy. Food came at rapid pace with no reason. If seemed like when it was done they would send it right out before you were done and/or before you'd been bussed.Special Features:
- superbHiggyDined on 7/19/2014My Wife And I And A Couple Friends Were On Vacation And We Were Told That We Had To Check This Place Out. We Made Reservations Online a Couple Weeks Before Hand And Had No Issues. Once There We Were Immediately Impressed By The Art All Around And Overall Decor. The Food Was Excellent, top Notch.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Blues?texasgnuDined on 7/19/2014Food at Crossroads was very good, but not great. Our attitude was negative before starting the meal because we expected live blues music during a beer tasting event on the Deck before dinner, and the band had not started by the time we sat down to eat. No blues over the PA either. A rap group was slated to start playing later in the main venue when we were leaving. So a good dinner, but not the experience we were expecting.I would recommend this to a friend.
- house of blues stinksdontgoDined on 7/17/2014The service was horrible. we ordered a side dish and we never got it, when the bill came the server said we should have told her but she never came back. servers from the kitchen brought the food out and dropped it off they had no idea what we ordered. we were there for two hours to eat bar food you can get anywhere else in 20 minutes.
- First TimeLoveFoodDined on 7/17/2014Everything was delicious, especially the cornbread appetizer and the Heat Seeker burger!!! Definitely will be back and will be bringing friends!!Special Features:
- AwesomeGrubbinDined on 7/16/2014Would highly recommend house of blues in myrtle beach for any and all age groups. We went for dinner, and stayed for a concert, the food and the service was top notch!!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- DisappointingVerydissatisfiedDined on 7/15/2014Went to celebrate my sons 18th birthday. Advised the restaurant when making reservation & again upon arrival. They did not seem interested in the least. The waitress offered a dish of ice cream. After a disappointing meal & only average service I paid the $200 bill begrudgingly (4 people) & ran out of there as quickly as I could. Never again will I return. They even had the nerve to hit us up at the company store for more money. Earlier in the day we had a magnificent lunch at Hard Rock. We should have returned there for dinner.
- The hostess was great.NOTBBW0715Dined on 7/15/2014This is the second HOB I've eaten at. Not great. The one in Chicago is by fair the best. Chef needs more training and the waitress told us to hurry bc they were closing soon. Which they weren't bc on my way to exit the premises the manager said we don't close until everyone is served. Bad for business. Will not return to this location in MB.Special Features:
- Forgot how good the food was . . .InLoveWithChicagoDined on 7/5/2014Haven't been in a few years, but glad I went back. Menu is not so long it's hard to get thru, and presentation and taste was great. Prices not too high and was able to make reservations and get to the show in plenty of time. Definitely worth a try to get away from the fast food and cookie cutter food that is everywhere in North Myrtle Beach.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- HOB Myrtle BeachOpenTable Diner Since 2014Dined on 7/5/2014Nice scenic restaurant, great food and the outdoor deck is wonderful. I love visiting Myrtle Beach, reminds me of Orlando, great for tourism. I would recommend visiting House of Blues, has a large capacity seating and unique art all around the restaurant. Also, top claas, fast, friendly and courteous service. I was late for my reservation, almost an hour and yet they were able to work me in. Thanks for a great dining experience and I loved the live band on the deck. The outdoor deck and bar area was a great addition to the restaurant, adds more dimension and another area to visit after dining indoors. Also, the deck is great during the spring and summers and is a great night spot if you may not be dining, yet, can still order food.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Entertainmenttonymarco2014Dined on 6/20/2014We came expecting a Blues Band and instead saw a mediocre hard rock band. We didn't stay long and would not come back. Where where the Blues?Special Features:
- AverageSmj3028Dined on 6/18/2014The food was decent. The service was a little to good. My husband ordered a salad & it came out 1 minute before our entrees. He hadn't even taken a bite. It felt rushed.
- Appalling ServiceDaveDined on 6/15/201440 minutes to be served drinks and appetisers and an hour to receive mains. The food was ok but the place was half empty and the atmosphere flat. We won't be going back
- Great funky placeBeeBopDined on 6/15/2014Went to find at Sunday Brunch time it was rocking with gospel music. Returned for excellent dinner that evening. Waiter warned that many dishes were spicy, which I can't eat. But he knew exactly what I could eat. Would go back.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Went before concertLuvMBDined on 6/14/2014The voodoo shrimp on cornbread was great and tuna dinner special was quite good even though it was not rare as requested. Service was very good once we got past a 15 minute wait even though we had a reservation.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- What a treatPUNKYPODined on 6/8/2014Really enjoyed ourselves. The gospel group was wonderful, and so was the food. Can't wait to go back.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Not a great nightWeekenderDined on 5/17/2014It was a busy night when some people left they made a mistake and took our order off and we had to wait an entire hour for our meal my burger wasn't cooked well done and my wife's fish taco was dry.Special Features:
- Sunday BrunchDifferentDined on 5/11/2014The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was appealing and good. The buffet line got a little confusing once everyone was trying to get their food.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.

- Couples NightOrangeParkTravlersDined on 4/27/2014Great dinning experience, we were with our friends from out of town. They had never been to the House of Blues and wanted to go, we had visited the Orlando location a few times. We all enjoyed our meals, the food was great! Our server was the best ever, we all fell in Love with her. Wish we lived closer to this location, it would be our favorite place to hang out. Everybody was friendly and professional.Special Features:
- Wonderful DinnermarvicDined on 4/27/2014We had a wonderful dinner at the Crossroads at House of Blues, Myrtle Beach. All four of us in our party said it was the very best of all the places we ate while in Myrtle Beach. We would definitely not hesitate to recommend Crossroads to anybody else. We will definitely be back!Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- GOSPEL LOVERBirthdayBoy40Dined on 4/27/2014The Sunday Brunch was GREAT.... Took my Fiance there for his 40th birthday and he had a blast. He loved the music and atmosphere. I will always make it my duty to go there whenever we come back down there.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- Ambience great, food mostly goodlove2eatDined on 4/22/2014Between the six of we have consumed quite a few chicken wings and spinach artichoke dips and they were the only dishes we were disappointed with. The other dishes were tasty and well made. The sauce on the chicken wings were far too drenched in tomato sauce, rather than bbq sauce, plus they were not in the least crispy, which we all prefer. Crispy wings ensure you don't taste the fatty skin nearly as much. Also the dip was really quite dry. The service was perfect and the ambience was great.Special Features:
- Very OrdinaryLowcountryDined on 4/18/2014There were four of us. One ordered the Cobb salad and said it was the best he ever ordered; one of us ordered jambalaya and felt is was a bit watery and a bit bland. Two of us ordered lobster Mac and cheese and while it was tasty the portion was very small and not much lobster in the dish. The beers on tap were $7 and the menu did not list the price. Also, no prices for the specialty drinks.
- Great foodPuglieseDined on 4/17/2014Had a great meal with a great atmosphere..... Service was a little slow but it was busySpecial Features:
- Good Sevice, Bad FoodtwasfunDined on 4/17/2014Waitress was nice. Appetizers and drinks were good. Entrees were bad. The lobster mac and cheese was bland and dry. The juicy Lucy was a good burger, but not the description. There was no bacon, not stuffed with cheese, and no jalapeños. There was some a dab of sauce and something red on the bun.Special Features:
- DisappointingKarenDined on 4/12/2014Although my party enjoys music, we were unable to carry on a conversation due to the volume of the music in the resteraunt. We dined at the HOB in Orlando and had a Five Star experience and were sorely disappointed in our Myrtle Beach experience. The service was slow, although our waitress was very kind and experienced. Getting drinks/desserts was impossible and when we ordered coffee, it was cold and desserts forgotten about. Will not return.
- Bread pudding was the best ever!VibloxtDined on 4/6/2014Gospel brunch was top notch! Music, food, service all wonderful! But the bread pudding was in a class by itself -- Magnificent!Special Features:
- Enjoyable Dinner - Blues Atmospherenic8niteDined on 4/4/2014We had a very good dining experience. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The full rack of ribs was good, but not the best I've ever had. If you decide to have on of the special cocktails that come with a souvenir glass and are too shy to ask the price (they are not listed on the drink list) - try not to be shocked when your bill comes...the Sinful Sangria was $14! Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend Crossroads House of Blues.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
- We went with a family of sixalan1004Dined on 4/3/2014We went with a family of six and had a great meal and wonderful service. Spent around $150 including tip, but was well worth it for a Spring Break special outing.Special Features:
- Did not give me the blues!CrissyDined on 3/26/2014From the moment we walked in, every employee was attentive & kind. Southern hospitality? Or is it a HOB thing? The drinks were fantastic. The food was super yummy. When a restaurant takes basics like cole slaw, corn bread, and meatloaf and turns them into something magical... You've got a winner.Special Features:I would recommend this to a friend.
