"We visit the Myrtle Beach Area several times each year and we have made The House of Blues a regular stop on our vacations. This time was different, though. We had a few favorite items on their menu and we were very surprised that they hired a new Chef who "improved" the menu. The menu was one page filled with mostly burgers. There were very few real food choices and even the burgers were $11.00. No one of my group of 6 was satisfied with their food including hamburgers, which seemed to be the featured menu selection, we're dry and bland. I would only recommend the entertainment at The House of Blues. They have great bands outside starting at 8:00 PM. From now on, my Family will eat somewhere else before hand."

"The menu has recently been re-vamped by Food Network's Aaron Sanchez and it rocks! The buttermilk fried chicken is a heafty portion and enough to share. Our waiter gave us tickets to the concert next door (part of House of Blues) which was tremondous fun. My only complaint is that if you want to sit and watch the concert, you have to pay for a table which was weird but I guess no stranger than paying for box seats. A portion of that money does go toward drinks though. I suppose you could just stand and drink - just a matter of preference. All and all - a great experience to start our weekend vacation!"

"Reservations were made well in advance. We got there at 6-early seating not available-at 7, our reserved time, we were seated in the room to the right of the recption desk. All 4 of us mentioned how cold it was right away to the gentleman that seated us. We asked to be moved to perhaps the center of the room or elsewhere- there were mostly empty tables in the room. He said he "would see what he could do" but we never saw him again. We should have insisted on alternate seating as we were all very very uncomfortable- however, the responsibility of the restaurant was to make sure we were comfortable and our request was ignored. House of Blues in Disney was a fantastic experience- this left all of us very disapointed."

"I don't think the food had that major wow factor that I was expecting from a Food Network Chef. I had the market catch of the day and it was good and not fishy at all, but wasn't excellent. My fiance` had the buttermilk fried chicken and said that he has had better. The food was not terrible, just not the best we have had."

"We made reservations for Sunday Brunch on the recommendation of a good friend. It's wonderful to have friends with great taste! House of Blues was definitely a highlight of our trip to MB. Sunday Brunch, with Gospel music could not have been more perfect."

"The service was excellent! Our server was helpful and knowledgeable. The food was good. My son had the Jucicie Lucie burger, he said it was awesome one of the best burgers he has even eaten. I had,the Island Turkey burger. It was a perfect balance of spice and moistness. Not dry as some can be."

"We had the prime rib special on a Wednesday night ( buy one get the second for 1 cent). The prime rib was just OK not spectacular plus they confused my wifes well done with my medium rare. The service was attentive and the bartender Daniel was great and served a "mean" Long Island Iced Tea during Happy Hour!
There was plenty of food and good value for the price!"

"We were away on vacation & it so happens that it was my sons birthday. We wanted to take him out for a nice birthday dinner. We had been to the restaurant in the past & we were happy with the experience. The restaurant was busy but not crowded & we were there early in the evening. Our server seemed to be agitated. She seemed as though she was in a hurry to "push" us through in order to turn over the table & to get the next customers to our table. She forgot some of our order and we had to get another server to correct it. She seemed frustrated with me when I didn't order another drink. She came to our table before we were finished & said "would you like desert?" Before we could say no thank you she set the bill on the table and said thanks"
