Crossroads at House of Blues - ChicagoFun Girls Night OutIt was great venue for our group, but after 9pm it got a a bit loud for conversation. The food was fantastic and the right proportions.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat tastegreat taste, had the shrimp and avocado street tacos they were excellent! The shrimp po boys excellent also shrimp tasted fresh. Absolutely loved the salsa verde delicious!6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat AmbianceFood was very good. I had the fried chicken which was was incredible. Others in our party had filet mignon & the poor boy and they loved it. Only downside is the live entertainment. It was way too loud, you have to shout to carry on a conversation. Not a place I'd take kids.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AM"Musical"I'm not a frequent customer, I was at the place once 10 years ago and now, this past week - I leave abroad and Chicago is has not benn much visited. So, my opinion is one data point with a just flash perception on evreything - for me it's a place for musice - excellent band performance, sound;lights, all perfect! Food is OK, my perception is that this is not the focus of the house - but want to say that it could be better exploit (even at higher prices!!!).6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMMusic and dining experience!Great place to dine at and listen to Blues in Chicago!!!!5/30/2013 12:00:00 AMRock-n-Roll!Great service, Great Food. Our server Granville and the manager Brian went out of their way to provide an exceptional time, Thanks to them and the staff of the Foundation Room for a great evening!5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent MenuA small group of us had dinner at the Chicago House of Blues when visiting the city recently. I expected routine menu offerings and was pleasantly surprised. The offerings are not only unique, the quality far exceeded my expectations. I am a very picky diner and will state, the Juicy Lucy is the best burger I've ever had. Kudos ! Another in our party had the Jambalya (and generously shared a taste), is rivals any I've tried in the south.
The atmosphere in the House of Blues is also exceptional. I absolutely love the decor and overall style of the interior. The only negative comment is the gift shop pricing. Call me frugal, but I refuse to pay 50 for a sweatshirt - even at the House of Blues.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMfantastic menuThis was my first time at the H.O.B. Chicago, and it will not be my last. Food and drinks were fantastic! My friend and I probably had the best mixed drinks that we have had in awhile--everything seemed fresh and not from a bar mix. Our food was equally as delicious. My steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The one thing that really impressed me is that there is a gluten free menu available, and there several options on it. The only complaint (and it's a little one) is that there are no gluten free dessert options.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMPre-show dinnerWe went to Crossroads for dinner before The Dan Band. We had the cornbread to start which was really good. I ordered shrimp and grits. The sauce with the grits we really good. I had the soup of the day which was vegetable, outatanding. Our waiter was attentive. The food was brought out timely.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous HoBCould not have had a more fabulous time! The HoB knocked it out of the park yet again! The food was to die for, and the dining experience and ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMTHE best steak I have ever hadTHE best steak I have ever had. Hands Down and I am a steak lover. You won't be disappointed at all in the food. Service was top notch. The restaurant was a bit loud, but all the other positives made up for it. Definitely a hit for my customers I took there.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMHouse of Blues was great!!House of Blues was great!! Crossroads is a great place to have a nice meal before an event. Had a very pleasant evening.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMMy Favorite Chicago ExperienceAs a resident of the city of Milwaukee, I find dining at the House of Blues(Chicago) a nice, enjoyable experience. Whenever I buy tickets for a House of Blues concert, I always make it a must to dine there before I venture upstairs for the show. The House of Blues dining and concert experience is my most favorite thing to do when visiting Chicago. Thanks House of Blues! You guys are great!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was great and our serverFood was great and our server was really really good!!! He knew we were in a hurry so he was great at getting our food out quickly!!! The vegetable flatbread was a great appetizer, and my burger was cooked perfectly!3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat atmosphere, food wasGreat atmosphere, food was excellent along with the service. Unfortunately when we were there not much was happening on stage.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThe cornbread and BBQ pulledThe cornbread and BBQ pulled pork were amazing. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMCraving that bluesTheir redesigned menu is great, and although the vegetarian selection is limited, the Mac and Cheese I had was perfect. Friends loved the spicy burger(the Heat Seeker), but what you really come here for is the music. For those who crave a little blues with their burger. Our server Nicole was outstanding!3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food. Had the shrimpGood food. Had the shrimp poboy and french dip. Both were very yummy!! Shrimp had a light coating and fried perfectly. The au jus for the french dip was to die for!! The service was quick and informative and polite. The ambiance was cool and relaxing. And a reasonably priced gift shop ;)3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMPretty much what we were expecting.Pretty much what we were expecting. The food was tasty, and the band on the dining room stage very entertaining. We allowed 1 hour for dinner, but could have stayed a little longer to listen to the band. We then went upstairs for a concert which was very convenient. There was a long line on Saturday night for a dining table, so having an Open Table reservation was helpful. They seated us right away.
Our server was also VERY helpful and friendly.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFun on St. Patricks Day!We had a great time! I was worried with it being St. Patrick's day that our reservations would not be ready, and we got right in! It was nice after walking around Chicago all day to walk in and be escorted right to our table. Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The noise level was very high, but that was to be expected, and the new 21 year olds I was with were happy with the noise! Our food was amazing. I had their beer cheese soup and it was the best I have ever had. I also had the Corned Beef and Cabbage and it was delicious. My daughter had the grilled salmon, and we both agreed it was the best we have had in a long time. Her friend had the french dip, and the serving was so generous she could not finish it all!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
