A word from Croissants Bistro and Bakery
As a child Croissants' Owner, Heidi Vukov, spent hours in her grandmother's kitchen in Germany, where European bakeries inspired her love for cooking. Since 1991, many loyal patrons have enjoyed Croissants' truly unique creations here in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

It is with great pride that Heidi now introduces this area's first low country Bistro, a lively nighttime version of Croissants...featuring innovative comfort food, perfectly matched wine list, a "Euro-cool" gathering place and prices you'll appreciate as much as the food!

a varied menu, standard and unique small plates, home made cakes and bakery items, a large wine list, and updated Contemporary American Entrees: Seared Peanut Crusted Ahi Tuna, Pork Loin with an amazing demi-glace, Grouper.l The only disappointment was my husband's filet that was overcooked on one end, but medium rare on the other.

If you crave wonderful, creative food, this is the place for you. The creative dishes are wonderful and the service is friendly and they know the food they are serving. And...they bake the most amazing cakes! We went for dinner and then stopped by for breakfast on our way home. Both meals were outstanding! Our server for breakfast, Mary, was very friendly and patient while we asked about the various dishes. I'm ashamed to admit that I forget the name of our server for dinner, but she provided the same friendly, knowledgable service. It is situated in the corner of a bank building and can easily be missed. But, it is on the corner of busy streets with plenty of parking. This "Local" restaurant is worth the visit!

Went to brunch first on a Sunday. Everyone in the restaurant had been served and we still had to wait about 20 more minutes to get our order. Delicious, but waiting a total of 40 minutes to get our food was crazy ( and hard to get a coffee refill during that time). Tried dinner in spite of that experience and food was good but still felt overall service was indifferent. Waitress was ok, but seemed inexperienced. To get dessert, you have to get up and look in the bakery display to choose. No thanks. Too many choices in NMB to try again.

My wife and I ate at Croissants Bistro and Bakery for her birthday. We enjoyed the Entrees of Pan Seared Scallops and Apricot Glazed Flounder and the deserts were wonderful, however we were not pleased with the Small Plates of Ceviche or the Gazpacho soup. Both were different in that the fish in the Ceviche was large chunks, not the finely chopped I am use to seeing and the Gazpacho was pureed and had one small shrimp in the middle of it. The service was good, but not the service you would expect at a fine Bistro. I will say the Bakery is Outstanding We probably will not return to this restaurant again.

We visit the Myrtle Beach area annually and always look forward to at least one dinner here! There are plenty of restaurants in the MB area that cater to tourists or all you can eat. If you want GREAT food and service and look for QUALITY, this is the place to go. Nice selection on the menu. While it is a French Bistro, they do not have French food only. The desserts are out of this world! If I lived here, this would certainly be one of my regular places.

Our meal was delicious and there were several selections I would like to try. We got there at 10, which is opening on Sunday. They were full and we waited for our meal about 40 minutes with minimal attention. The waitress had way too many tables, including a large table outside who had not been served their meal by the time we left. They waited longer than we did. Great food. Need to staff better. I do plan to try them at dinner.

  • Sunday Brunch in Myrtle Beach

We went here for Sunday Brunch with our three children. We were seated promptly and greeted by a very nice waitress. The menu was perfect for Sunday brunch. My husband ordered eggs Benedict and it was delicious as was the banana foster pancakes. My omelette wasn't anything special so I went back I would stick to the specialty items. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was very cool because it was a "make your own" station. The resteraunt was clean and had a nice ambiance. The host came around and made sure everything was okay. I was nervous walking in with small kids because it was on the quieter side but as the place filled up it was fine - the people were all very warm and friendly to our kids too. Overall it was a good experience!

When you want to get off the beach for a change, head to Croissants. The menu has something for everyone and the dessert selection is wide. Christine, our waitress, was very friendly and helpful when making food and wine decisions. If I'm in Myrtle Beach again, I would like to try their Sunday brunch.

This has become our go-to brunch on vacation in Myrtle Beach after the House of Blues gospel brunch soared into the stratosphere. A cozy dining room, excellent menu, great service, and an on-site bakery. The bloody mary bar is reason enough to go back.

Had such high for this restaurant, as our first meal at the beach. Our flight to myrtle Beach was shorter than the time it took to get our food. The waitress was sour and seemed inconvenienced. I will say that the food was delicious, but that doesn't make up for the service. Disappointed

Dined here for Sunday brunch based on the recommendation of a friend. The overall experience was very good, and it made a welcome change to the basic pancake houses that are so popular in the area. I had the crabcakes benedict, which were very good. My dining partners had the ham, egg and cheese croissant and the pretzel turkey club, and both were please with their meals. I would definitely go back to this restaurant. Prior reviews have mentioned the difficulty getting to the restaurant via navigation systems. I found that if I continued on 38th Avenue at the intersection with Robert Grissom Parkway, rather than turning left as my navigation system instructed, I was able to turn directly into the parking lot.

We had dinner here while on vacation and the food was ok. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I had the shrimp and grits, which I didn't care for. It wasn't a traditional shrimp and grits but rather a bbq sauce, grits, and grilled shrimp on top. I will say the desserts were very good. On our way out of town, my husband thought we should stop in for brunch thinking that the food might be better since it is a bakery. I had the hash, which was not edible. The potatoes were drowned in a sweet bbq sauce. My husband's meal was except for the croissant. It was awful and tasted like it was frozen. I would not go back.

Found on opentable while visiting from out of town and agree with the good reviews. Dined with my wife and 12 year old son. Nice decor and an impressive menu. A pleasant change from the fast paced, production line, busy places we have found elsewhere in Myrtle Beach. We had a relaxing dinner with friendly and excellent service. The breads and pastries are all made fresh on site and were excellent. The scallops and flank steak entrees were very good with excellent presentation. The cake sampler was incredible for dessert. I usually don't do reviews, but given the great experience we had, I wanted to take the time to give a good review. We plan to go back for another dinner before our week in Myrtle Beach is over.

This place is a hidden gem, we read good reviews about it and thought we'd check it out. Our hostess was amazing, well versed in the menu always tentative to our water, wine, bread basket etc. She was very sweet to our two year old son brought him some bread and crayons early so we could read the menu. We ordered the strip steak and the fillet which were both AMAZING.. The pimento gratin was to die for, the steak was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth!!! I would go back again all the time if I lived in Myrtle Beach, but would recommend it again and again to anyone going!!!

We have been to this place many times, it is one of our favorite places to dine for any occasion. It has special menu items that you do not find at other restaurants , The wait staff are great and the time it takes to receive our meal is always fine. If you do go to Croissants be sure to take a peek at the pastry/dessert case. They are known for their wedding cakes and pastries, they are as good or better than they look. I always look forward to going back to this place, truly a gem in this area.
