A word from Croissants Bistro and Bakery
As a child Croissants' Owner, Heidi Vukov, spent hours in her grandmother's kitchen in Germany, where European bakeries inspired her love for cooking. Since 1991, many loyal patrons have enjoyed Croissants' truly unique creations here in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

  • "Had such high for this restaurant, as our first meal at the beach. Our flight to myrtle Beach was shorter than the time it took to get our food. The waitress was sour and seemed inconvenienced. I will say that the food was delicious, but that doesn't make up for the service. Disappointed"

  • "Dined here for Sunday brunch based on the recommendation of a friend. The overall experience was very good, and it made a welcome change to the basic pancake houses that are so popular in the area. I had the crabcakes benedict, which were very good. My dining partners had the ham, egg and cheese croissant and the pretzel turkey club, and both were please with their meals. I would definitely go back to this restaurant. Prior reviews have mentioned the difficulty getting to the restaurant via navigation systems. I found that if I continued on 38th Avenue at the intersection with Robert Grissom Parkway, rather than turning left as my navigation system instructed, I was able to turn directly into the parking lot."

  • "We had dinner here while on vacation and the food was ok. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I had the shrimp and grits, which I didn't care for. It wasn't a traditional shrimp and grits but rather a bbq sauce, grits, and grilled shrimp on top. I will say the desserts were very good. On our way out of town, my husband thought we should stop in for brunch thinking that the food might be better since it is a bakery. I had the hash, which was not edible. The potatoes were drowned in a sweet bbq sauce. My husband's meal was except for the croissant. It was awful and tasted like it was frozen. I would not go back."

  • "Found on opentable while visiting from out of town and agree with the good reviews. Dined with my wife and 12 year old son. Nice decor and an impressive menu. A pleasant change from the fast paced, production line, busy places we have found elsewhere in Myrtle Beach. We had a relaxing dinner with friendly and excellent service. The breads and pastries are all made fresh on site and were excellent. The scallops and flank steak entrees were very good with excellent presentation. The cake sampler was incredible for dessert. I usually don't do reviews, but given the great experience we had, I wanted to take the time to give a good review. We plan to go back for another dinner before our week in Myrtle Beach is over."

Great tuna, crispy flounder and the grouper were all excellent. The shrimp appetizer superb, and of the course the desserts were spectacular. Definitely will be back."

  • "First visit to Croissants and glad we decided to eat here. Loved the peach and arugula salad along with the she crab soup. Both the peanut crusted tuna and pompano fresh catch dishes were very good. The key lime pie was one of the best we've ever had. We will be back."

  • "This place is a hidden gem, we read good reviews about it and thought we'd check it out. Our hostess was amazing, well versed in the menu always tentative to our water, wine, bread basket etc. She was very sweet to our two year old son brought him some bread and crayons early so we could read the menu. We ordered the strip steak and the fillet which were both AMAZING.. The pimento gratin was to die for, the steak was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth!!! I would go back again all the time if I lived in Myrtle Beach, but would recommend it again and again to anyone going!!!"

  • "We have been to this place many times, it is one of our favorite places to dine for any occasion. It has special menu items that you do not find at other restaurants , The wait staff are great and the time it takes to receive our meal is always fine. If you do go to Croissants be sure to take a peek at the pastry/dessert case. They are known for their wedding cakes and pastries, they are as good or better than they look. I always look forward to going back to this place, truly a gem in this area."

From the moment we arrived, Megan the hostess made you feel very welcome; she is very friendly and attentive. The pork dinner and the meat loaf were both excellent; the thick cuts, presentation and wonderful flavor make for a great meal. They are served with great sides as part of the meal too. The cheese grits with the meat loaf were also great. Good wine listing and some nice by-the-glass wines. Our server Dawn and a trainee were very attentive also."

  • "We were visiting from out of state for Easter Weekend and found this place on the list of top places to eat in Myrtle Beach. We decided to do an early Easter Brunch on Saturday, they were booked for Easter morning. We booked a reservation through open table for 8 and they were ready for us when we arrived. It is a pretty small place but very nicely appointed. The staff was very accommodating and the food was delicious! They have a cute outside area to seat at, unfortunately it was not nice enough to sit outside but I would love to come back to lunch when it is! I really enjoy finding places to eat that are unique to the area we are visiting and I was happy to have found this one! "

  • "Food was outstanding! Service was impecable. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I ordered the short ribs with risotto. The rib was served tender and the risotto was flavorful. My husband had the pork tenderloin with fingerling potatoes. He asked for the pork to be well done and it was cooked perfectly. Even though it was well done, it was juicy and flavorful. We ordered dessert to go-chocolate moose cake. The table next to us complained about their meal taking too long to prepare. I had to lean over and remind them that good food, prepared from scratch, takes time to prepare. We will be back to enjoy the great food on another night and to try the specials. We found out about them after we ordered."

We brought older children who ordered off the regular menu, not children's items; however the server did not manage to entirely hide her lack of enthusiasm for waiting on kids. By the end, she was fine, once it was obvious the children were well behaved."

  • "Who knew such a gem of a restaurant could be just a short drive from the hub-bub of the boardwalk area in Myrtle Beach? Everything about our dining experience was excellent: the food, the wine list and our waiter, Cameron. The menu is creative and thoughtful in its French inspired offerings and will suit the seafood lover and the meat eater alike. There are even vegetarian options. The flounder is a house specialty and is my new favorite. My husband is a pure meat and potatoes guy who eats to live - but exclaimed that his pork tenderloin was the best he ever had - a true compliment! Be sure to leave some room for dessert from the bakery items you can view upon entering. I would head back to Myrtle Beach anytime to have dinner here."

  • "My wife and I had an early dinner reservation for 6 PM. She was looking forward to having the sea scallops. Our waiter mentioned several other dishes as being outstanding. When he came to take our order he noticed my wife pointing to the sea scallops and said if your thinking of having the scallops we're out of them. It would have been better if he had pointed this out up front rather than trying to steer us to other options. So we punted and tried the tuna which was good. However, running out of a regular menu item 1 hour after they started serving dinner, in the off season and without telling us until forced to, turned us off from returning. In the future, we will stick to the Brentwood Restaurant in Little River for our French food."

  • "If you are from Myrtle Beach, you MIGHT know of Croissants Bistro and Bakery. If you are from out of town, you wouldn't think from the outside that it is as special as it on the inside. The staff greets you appropriately. The cakes are right in front of you to taunt your sweet tooth. This is a specialty bakery, without a doubt, with a full bar and lovely menu. We went for Brunch and thank goodness we made a reservation. I would recommend this for dinner, also. I can only guess about lunch. The brunch menu is extensive and everything we ordered (minus the shrimp and grits, which needs a more traditional seasoning) was fantastic. There is a "build your own Bloody Mary" bar. We found this fun. Just go, you will be pleased!"

  • "We had a good brunch, and even got some pastries to go for breakfast the next day. Surprisingly there were few options for me as a vegetarian, but my carnivore husband was very pleased. I usually don't have much problem finding breakfast items, but being from Austin perhaps we are more vegetarian-friendly than Myrtle Beach. The cupcake with the little shell on it was fabulous and stunning to look at."

  • "Oh my, the desserts are reason enough to go here...get the sampler where you get to try 3 different desserts, the portions are still huge. They were out of a lot of appetizers which was a little disappointing since it was valentines weekend..shoulda been prepared. Pretty tight seating too, but totally worth it for the desserts."
