The appetizers of Buffalo Mozzarella and chick pea cakes and the kale salad were awesome. The pasta was excellent and their Creme Brulee/Chocolate Mousse dessert combo is fantastic and perfect to share.
Service was good and friendly. Table bus boys almost too efficient. My appetizer plate was taken when I was still eating my last mouth full. The place was very busy on a Saturday night and has a great vibe to it. Great choices on the menu, you can either do small plates or order dinners. My husband had veal parmigiana, which was outstanding and I had chicken milanese and that was delicious also. Some of the restaurants we go to you can't hear each other talk. This was very busy and bustling but we still felt intimate at our table.

The menu is very interesting, having more than your standard red sauce and pasta. My favorite dish, by far, is the carmelized cauliflower, pine nuts. and currants over whole wheat pasta. It's so good that I have to force myself to try other dishes. I have been back a dozen times with various sized groups. The food is consistently excellent, the wine is great and the service is perfect. Food was wonderful, rice balls, artichoke salad, crispy duck! Subtle but wonderful combinations of herbs and flavors! Vast menu of so many dishes it's hard to decide what to choose. Service and the ambiance - water falls, fireplace, rustic stone floors made for a very pleasurable dining experience.
