We chose this restaurant after watching Brew Dogs. The beer was good but the food was even better. We shared the crawfish Mac and cheese which was really enough for a meal, but. Am glad I ordered a crab cake as it was delicious! My husband had the stuffed shrimp, also very tasty. The service was excellent.

We had a party of seven and we had appetizers, drinks, dinner and desert. The food was good, beer was OK (but nothing special), the price was fair, service was just OK and the music was had very short sessions and wasn't very good. This restaurant did not meet our expectations, maybe it was because it was mid week and early in the evening.

To start off with, we were seated 30 minutes after our confirmed reservation time. When we finally sat down, we had the rudest waitress that I've ever had at a restaurant. She clearly wanted everyone to know that she was in control and was abrasive in doing so. With so many good restaurants in the area, I would stay away from this place.

We came here after a long drive to New Orleans and just wanted a taste of creole, a good beer, and some decent music. The service was superb, even though we were a few minutes late for our reservation, they immediately seated us. Our server, BJ, was very personable and recommended a beer for me after discussing my tastes. He was right on, I had the raspberry wheat which was wonderful. Add that on top of our very quick and mouth watering food (oysters, gumbo, and red fish) I wanted to come back again the next night!

Came here because we had a 2for1 coupon from the tourist booklet. The in house beers were very good but also very expensive- $7.00 Local bottled root beer was $4.50 Guess you pay for the location. Good was pretty good-had the shrimp and grits (tasty sauce, used the bread to sop up the remainder) and the glazed seared duck (nice taste but a tad but dry. Still good though). Lunch menu looks the same as dinner but the dinner prices almost double. Would recommend to come for lunch if you do. With the coupon we still ended spending over $40 for 2 entrees (remember one was free), 2 craft beers and a rootbeer

This place has a nice beer selection which is produced on site; the dark one I wanted had run out but got an Octoberfest which hit the spot. We sat out in the open air courtyard which had a fireplace. We had a burger and a pasta, food was good. This was our second time here and probably would return.

Every time I have been here the food is excellent and the service is top notch. I make it a point to dine here even with all the great restaurants in New Orleans. I have never been disappointed no matter what I have ordered, and I make it a point to bring others here when possible to experience the food and atmosphere. Definitely good prices and fantastic food!

My husband and I were at Crescent City this week and both the hostess and then our server were very friendly. We were delighted with the jazz live music, such ambience. We shared the warm brie with apples to start, yummy. My husband raved about crispy chicken salad which was very large. I had the cesar salad which was lightly dressed and had homemade croutons that tasted wonderful. We shared the cheesecake for dessert that was served with strawberries. BJ was our server and he was enthusiastic and had great suggestions for dinner. This was our nicest meal while in NO - best food, service and not too expensive.

What a nice surprise to find such great food in a brewpub! We arrived early for our reservation and were seated right away. The rear of the restaurant allows enjoying the live music and still conversing. We seek out local beers and enjoyed tasting all of them . My favorite was the seasonal IPA. Not too pale and really hoppy! Interesting menu choices. I had the redfish. Perfectly grilled with a crispy softshell crab as garnish. SO enjoyed his fish tacos. No grease at all. Please go, then meander through the French Quarter full and happy.

I had been there once before, 7 years ago, and wanted to go back for the amazing food. They had the best mashed potatoes ever and I wanted a second round. Unfortunately they aren't on the menu anymore but they have a lot of very tasty, New Orleans cuisine to more than make up for it! Went with a group of 5 co-workers when we were in town for a conference and the group conclusion was that this had been a good choice to go to. All enjoyed their food and the beer! The staff was very friendly. Had made a reservation via open table but it wasn't that busy there when we got there (a Wednesday night in Sept) so we probably didn't need to.

My husband and I went into Crescent City for a late lunch/snack. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our waitress, Mary Ann E., was super friendly and very knowledgeable. We were excited to try the 5 beer sampler from the Brewery. The presentation was great but the beer was just okay. The weiss beer and the Black Forest were the best. For the most part, they seemed pretty watered down. The food was awesome, though! We chose the alligator bites because we've never had it before and Mary Ann recommended the seafood cheesecake, which we ordered. It was amazing! Totally not what it sounds like--it's not a sweet dessert dish at all. All in all, I'd recommend the restaurant for the great service and food but would stay away from the beers.

The food was good, but our appetizers, salad, soup and entrees all came out at the same time. Our waiter was friendly and happy, but seemed like he was in a rush the entire night to get ready for closing the restaurant. He even asked us if we wanted dessert about ten minutes after received our food. The beer, which is brewed by the restaurant, is nothing special.

I love great food and tried to experience all the notable restaurants in French Quarter, including Nola. I had Shrimp and Grits at both Nola and Crescent City Brewhouse. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and it was by far my favorite meal I've had while in New Orleans. It was delicious! Then to top it off, I had he lemon meringue cake and was to die for. My boyfriend and I were fighting over the last bite! He had the crispy duck and was finished before me which is unusual, and the triple chocolate cake which he said tasted like a fancy fudge round. The beer wasn't great but we don't have a taste for it anyway. I would say the red stallion was the best out of the four we tried. I would definitely go back in a heart beat! I can't get over that shrimp!

The updated menu at Crescent City Brewhouse is great. The new fish taco was delicious with several levels of flavor. Just what food preparation in New Orleans is all about. We started our meal with the Baked Oysters Threw Way - especially enjoined the crab and saffron version. Then onto the Shrimp Po' Boy and Fish Taco, while sipping several styles of the house beer of course. The Red Stallion beer, like all the house beers, are tasty, consistent, true to origin, and best of all they are refreshing! We like the high ceiling space, metal ceilings, local artwork on display, and large ceiling fans creating a breeze. Enjoy.

Near Jackson Square, this brewpub vies with many fine restaurants, several famous. This one will not compete with the big names, but it has great food. I visited in many years ago, and was delighted when I returned. The seasonal beer was excellent, as were the crab cake appetizer was yummy. My wife had the crabmeat stuffed shrimp, and found it outstanding. I had a sausage platter that was great. We did not have room for dessert. My wife's daiquiri did not have much alcohol in it. Other than that, it was a great meal. We will come back the next time we are in New Orleans. The live jazz was superb, but the breaks between numbers were a bit long.

The service was great! The food not so much. I have dined at the CCBH on many occasions. This is the second time in a row the food was poor. The steak was overcooked and stringy. It was also laden with grizzle to the point I left a large portion on the plate. The fish was tasty but was only room temperature. I was truly disappointed, again. Not sure what may have changed but two bad experiences in under 30 days... Again, the service was great!

We ate outside on the patio and the jazz music was playing downstairs which created a perfect atmosphere! The service was excellent and the food was delicious, bursting with flavor! The Brewhouse is a typical NO casual dinning place, we booked a table as we wanted to eat close to a peak time of 8pm, although most Americans seem to prefer to eat much earlier. The restaurant was not full on this night (Thursday) and the upper floors were used for a party, the patio was closed due to rain. Live jazz music was provided but the band packed up and left at 8.45pm. The food was OK, typical for this type of tourist place. Beers from the brewery were available but seemed expensive compared to other places, considering it was brewed there. Service was average. The bar closed at 10pm! Not quite Bourbon St.
