Creo RestaurantAlways a nice job, but pricey!Celebrated my youngest's 12th and my wife's 45th with dinner. Food is always interesting and freshly prepared. Menu just changed and their were some nice additions. $8 for Mondavi Pinot Noir is a bit pricey for Albany region. Appetizers of Lobster Bisque ($10 each for a cup!), Beef Tips ($14 excellent!), and Kung Pao Calamari ($12 worth it!). Filet Mignon ($36) was nicely done, but again overpriced for this area. Halibut ($32) was well presented and tasty with chunks of lobster mixed in with onions, celery, and corn in the sauce. LRG Ravioli for the birthday boy ($20-favorite) is well worth the price. Wife started with a nice garden salad ($7,pricey). If they lowered prices by about $5 on main entree's, they might be more busy.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother wonderful lunch at CreoCreo is one of my favorite restaurants in the Albany area. The quality of the food is consistently top notch. So is the service, presentation , and value. Had the lobster roll and it was fantastic. Also love their shrimp and avocado salad and their risotto. The menu is varied enough so that everyone can find something they'll enjoy.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAfter all this time....We needed to host a dinner for our son's graduation.
Our table was ready and our server was friendly and knowledgeable.
We had a number of appetizers, the lobster avocado tart was amazing and easily fed two people. The Maytag blue cheese chips, very shareable. Salad with shrimp and avocado very fresh . Great variety of choices and none of them disappointed.
Our entrees were also very good. I am a huge fan of risotto and their risotto is very unique with real crabmeat on d-lish! The others had the ribeye steak which was prepared exactly how they liked it. Apricot glazed chicken ...another winner.
Creo's helped us cap off a very exciting day for our family with a very enjoyable, relaxing dinner celebration.
Should have visited sooner!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchExcellent service. Great food. Definitely kid friendly. Worth it.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMUnique menuCalamari fantastic; lobster tart excellent- a great place to bring Mom for mothers day. We all had wonderful meals.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA go to place for good food.Creo will not disappoint. The hostess was professional and courteous. The wait staff was attentive. The food was good. Did it wow me? No. There was nothing really special about my meal. We had the fish tacos as an appetizer and the butternut squash pizza and 1/2 a chicken. It was all well cooked and tasted good. But for the price....it should've wow'ed me. It's definitely a bit over priced.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMMy daughter has been buggingMy daughter has been bugging me to try everytime I am in town so I took her and two co-workers and we had a wonderful meal! The menu was just enough to meet everyone's tastes, great wine choices and the service was wonderful. I had the filet which absolutely melted in my mouth. Will definitely return!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMYum!The food was absolutely delish! All of us ladies enjoyed the fresh beautiful meals that we were served. We had appetizers, salad, soup, and gluten free items. Everyone raved about their dinner and are planning to return.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWe always have a good diningWe always have a good dining experience at Creo. The wait staff is attentive, there are always interesting specials and the regular menu items are consistently good. Creo is a top Albany area restaurant.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely lunchHad lunch here with two friends. The service was excellent, especially since one of us has a lot of dietary restrictions -- no problem at all to accommodate them. The food was delicious and nicely presented. I had the mushroom ravioli with truffle cream - lovely dish. My only negative comment is that the floor to ceiling windows have little cover and if you sit facing a front window during daylight hours you have to deal with a lot of glare.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMI love it there. I was thereI love it there. I was there once before, and don't know why it's taken so long to go back. The food is excellent. I had a pastrami sandwich and would have gotten another except it was so filling.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first time atThis was our first time at Creo. Our food server, Kelsey, was top drawer. The food was well executed, fresh & beautifully plated. The kitchen was very attentive & accommodating to special requests.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI have never beend disappointedI have never beend disappointed at Creo, great food selections, locally sourced when possible, 1/2 orders and excellent presentation. Staff at Creo is always helplful, responsive and unobtrusive, there is no rush. ALso, the restaurant, including the rest rooms, is clean and well decorated. One of the best venues in the area.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMQuite a Surprise! We had a business dinner meeting consisting of five people. The food was excellent, as was the service. We were so engrossed in both conversation and food that before we realized it, we were the only patrons remaining. In spite of the fact that I am sure the wait staff wanted to go home, they never rushed us or did things like turn the lights down to let us know it was past time to go. I had been to Creo before for drinks, but never for dinner. I would highly recommend it and plan to return.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AM
